Menta grinned, happy that he was able to make her laugh. Though he knew he would be getting reprimanded by Frost later. He knew that the little Hybrid did not like people knowing his one self-esteem weakness. But he was the one who had hired a pure kirin as a worker in the first place! He was surprised that Aria hadn't known about it before, but perhaps she was just too intimidated by her brother to think of it. He could be very mean without meaning to.
He moved over to grab one of the stores cards and wrote down his phone number on the back, and when Aria had finally stopped laughing, he held out the card to her.
"Here's my number if you want to call sometime and we can arrange a date. I don't want to give out any dates right now since I'm not sure of my schedule, or yours, yet. And this way we can talk a bit more before going on it too." It would be nice to be able to talk to her a bit more too. They could learn about each other's interests and decide on where to go based on those too.
He heard the bell chime, which meant another customer had walked into the store. He had forgotten that he had already opened!
"Welcome!" He quickly said to the two older women who had come in and then turned his attention back to Aria.
"Looks like I got to get back to work again. But it was nice to meet you Aria. Just tell me if your brother gives you any more trouble and I'll make sure to take care of him!" He said with a wink.
"I'll talk to you later then!" He said, waving to her before heading over to the other customers in case they needed him. He hated having to leave her like that, but hopefully she would know that it wasn't because he didn't want to talk to her anymore, but he had to pay attention to the customers!
