"Magic or not, we still lack a lot of physical prowess. I've seen some - well let's not say they move much kind of Mauvians. Some have become too accustomed to being rarely demanded and a pampered pet lifestyle. We should be holding ourselves to the same standard we demand of the senshi we awaken. It could be our heads one day if we aren't able to dash away from danger." And frankly no one had done any training for those who were supposed to be the ones informing new senshi. It was a shame and one he had been guilty if when he started.
"It might be good to mention it now. Nico is just as much capable and could give insight. Like he said. He was a therapy cat and has medical training in that field for some time. He's been around those who needed comfort. He'd have more insight then I have." He pointed out as he lowered himself in a loaf sitting position.
"And yes Nico. I have heard that purified members loose their memories and even their homes. They can't remember parts of their lives and people they knew. It can be scary to not have a home and even worse to loose the support you had. I don't want those people who made the right decision to feel lost and without anyone. There are also agents who might just have a hard time living. Not because of being a senshi but just from a hard life. I want to offer them help. This isn't a big home but even if it's 2 or 3 people sharing the upstairs, it's something."

Toby nodded, thinking about a particularly...sedentary mauvian he knew, and the fact that he’d more or less forced that cat to chase him while he was obliviously running along, which brought a small smile to his face. He nodded about therapy and memories, but then said, “Well, the thing I was wondering about—what if there was a Negaverser with a family? You can give people new identities when they purify, but...can you do that for other people, too? I talked to a corrupt senshi a few weeks back, and he said that the Negaverse would hurt his mom if he left.”

Nico was listening to all of this with a frown, his eyes flickering back and forth between Arthur and Toby. This discussion was very heavy, and it felt a little odd... To Him, at least, because it was His First Time Meeting Toby and already They were having Heavy Discussions... But it was also Very Important. Especially given they were discussing things that Pertained To His Skills. He might not be the most mature of Mauvians... He had Noticed That... But when it Came To His Skills He was Very Focused, and it was Very Important To Him to Do It Right. "They loose part of Their pasts and become Homeless?" His tone was Horrified, because... Oh He understood some of This. He Understood it too Well. He had Memories but the way They felt Distant and Confused meant he Was Not Sure what all Happened... And He had been Homeless for too long, before Arthur. "They definitely could use a safe space, therapy, and help dealing with the trauma of their past." When he started speaking about the things they might need, it was like a little switch went off in his head. He focused on it, and though he did not notice... His verbal patterns became more... well. Normal. "But they also need to be able to normalize, to an extent, as soon as possible, so that they do not feel constantly off balance and lost." The question about the families had Nico frowning and looking at Arthur because... He had no idea about that.

"I hadn't heard about that happening but, considering who we are dealing with, I wouldn't put it past them to go to such lengths to threaten anyone who might want to come to our side. That makes things a bit more problematic." Arthur looked to Toby and then to Nicodemus who was also concerned.
"I don't have an answer to that. Relocating entire families is a large endeavour even beyond me. It would need multiple Mauvians, and that's not even considering changing their identities with new paperwork. The family would also need to agree to it. Unlike those who purify, the families wouldn't have the protection of magic to be unrecognizable to the other side. That's an entire situation I'd need to look into and reach out to the network of Mauvains we have. It's very disheartening to consider it, but I hope we can find a solution." He said, breathing out slowly at the thought of someone wanting to purify and wanting to protect their family.
"I'd like to help that corrupted senshi best I could. To bring them somewhere safe where we wouldn't threaten the lives of the ones they love." And there might be even more of such agents out there.
His attention glanced to Nico and then he shook his head.
"I'll mark it on the list. Sorry to bring such a heavy topic into all of this."

“I was thinking about it later on,” Toby said with a little nod, “And he may have just been saying that to get sympathy from me—I know I could have easily subdued him if I’d tried. He was making some, uh,” he rocked his head from side to side as he tried to find a good word, “...odd faces at me,” he concluded. “Still. It made me wonder about that sort of situation if it was real.” After that, he decided to let that topic drop, and turned his attention back to Nico. “Hey, sorry about that, I’ll bet you think I’m some, uh, super stuffy dour guy now, huh?” He grinned, and sat properly on the floor (he’d been shifting positions as they talked, but none was properly sitting until just then). “Let’s talk about happier stuff, like, uh...what sort of fun stuff have you done recently?”

Nicodemus drooped a little at the idea of not being able to easily help those who had worries about their friends or family that might be left behind when they switched sides. That was... a very difficult situation, and one he had no idea how to help with. It sounded like situations like that would be incredibly traumatic, though, to the people who had no way to bring their loved ones along with them when they made their switch to the Right Side. And then Toby's comment about odd faces had Nico tilting his head. "Odd Faces? Odd Faces like what?" He sounded suddenly fascinated and curious. Faces meant a lot, after all! And then both of them apologized to Him and the Conversation Seemed to Drop, which confused Him and made Him Wonder why They Apologized. "No Apology Needed! This Is All Very Important" He said, once again switching speech patterns now that they were not on his specialty. "And if there is Anything I Can Do, I want to! But... Fun Stuff?" The (mentally) young Mauvian's tail flickered in excitement. "I Recently Got Some New Jingle Balls! Arthur is VERY Generous and Got Them For Me. They Are the BEST. I Love Them! And..." He leaned in towards Toby. "They're SPARKLY." Tolin Kalin Sorry for the drop off the face of the planet, guys... I was REALLY mentally under for a bit. Thank you for the patience!

Arthur stretched on his pillow and curled up again as he watched Toby with Nico.
"It is very important bit we are talking business when what we we're hoping would be a clam, nice visit away from work. That's all. Trying to be a good hosting while Toby is trying to be a good guest." He explained.
At Nico's new purchase, Arthur smiled. There had been plenty of times the balls had made their appearance across the floor and few times even Arthur couldn't deny the appeal of a good game of ball.
"You're way more energetic then I am." The Mauvian said to the other, already celebrating his elderly years at his age.
"You seem to know a lot about video games, Toby. Would you know good ones? They seem.all the rage now. Don't mind controllers. There are a few guardians in HQ who can modify those for us."

"Well, he was, uh," Toby paused, considered, then clasped his hands together up by his shoulder, and tilted his head over to give a sort of...sad, bashful smile while blinking exaggeratedly, "Trying a bit too hard to look sad," he said, and then went back to a more normal expression. He shrugged. "But let's not worry about it right now." The talk of bells made Toby smile and he nodded. "Well, now I need to see your sparkly jingle bells, you know. They sound much too nice to keep hidden!" After the mention of video games, Toby took his Switch out of a little bag he had with him. "Well, I mean, I guess I do have this, but I watch stuff more than play. Still, what kind of thing do you wanna do? Dances like we've done on the roofs?" Aria Starstone All good! biggrin Life is more important than games, after all~
