Sleep had never come easily to Cybele. She was a worrier. She'd always been, and the memories of monsters and dead friends that she'd acquired over the course of the war had not helped. For awhile, she'd turned to hunting, to beating her stress out of something evil, but perhaps there was another way.
A gentler way.
In that moment, something deep in her shoulders relaxed. Right then, she wasn't an Eternal Senshi who had to be strong, who had to be everyone's enemy or mentor. She was just herself, was just a friend, smiling. "That sounds nice," she said. "That sounds really nice, Alya."
It was strange just how much it was helping, now that she was letting people a little closer. There was still the deep-set dread that it wouldn't last, that something awful would happen again, but even that thought was easier to push back when someone was a phone call away.
This evening's restlessness was almost completely gone, and she took a few steps away, out of the the immediate glow of the streetlamps before she briefly turned back.
"Until then?"
