Pascal would huff exitedly to the brunette Victoria while tiltinghis head to her, and would obviously show his enjoyment of her scratching under his chin. It was then that Kenichi was around, and had picked up the phone that Pascal knocked away. Yeah, but I'm very sprry. Bad dog, Pascal. Next time, and you're going on a leash. Ken would scold the puppy, just for Pascal to give the same puppy eyes that Ken is virtually weak to. He basically caved in yet again. Alright, alright... but be more careful, next time. Ken would say. Looking back at Victoria, she seemed very nice and sweet. Nice to meet you. Minegishi Kenichi. But everyone just calls me Ken to make it easier. Ken would say introducing himself as he shook her hand. The two seemed to be the same age, like she said, but how did she know that? If anything, the girl looked like she's recently a college aged student. Guess Ken was ironically more like an open book than he would see people as. Ken also wondered about the girl some more, but she seemed too innocent to be involved with the night life. Of course, he could still be wrong about that.

Victoria enjoyed the little comedy sketch between Pascal and Kenichi. With a smile and a lighthearted giggle, she watched the spectacle unfold. 'Iโm certain these two have a close relationship.' Yes, she felt absolutely certain about their link. When her cell was held up to her vision, she had momentarily forgotten that it was pushed out of her hand earlier. With a dip of her head, she proceeded to use her finger to gingerly grab the fallen device. It seemed uninjured for the most part. Her warm hazelnuts gave the phone a quick look before she deemed that the small knicks were fine. 'Iโm glad I bought a case for my phone. It was definitely worth the price.' Now, not only was she happy about her investment but also the company that Victoria was able to meet on this cloudy day too.
"Ken." The brunette repeated the name until his nickname appeared in the box. "Iโll try to remember that." With a polite nod and a quick shake of his, some more information began to spruce up about the man. For the sake of wanting a little bit of surprise in her life, she chose to leave the new data alone. Victoria was curious what this manโs life was like but wanted to hear it from his own mouth. "So what do you do Ken?" Scooting over on the bench, the girl made space for the man in case he wanted to take a seat. For the meantime, her hands were preoccupied with giving Pascal some more chin scratches. "If youโre not too busy, would you like to chat? Itโs alright if you need somewhere else." Her well humored tune continued. Perhaps it might seem a silly for a stranger to have a chat with someone they met today, but Victoria tried to squeeze the lemons life gave her. Maybe there was a reason why they bumped into each other today?

Pascal was basically in heaven at this point. With the woman scratching under his chin, he'd wag his tail profusely at the attention and the feeling it would give. So far, he already has her scent memorized, and can tell that he already likes her. Then again, Pascal was super friendly with everyone who has a good vibe around him. Ken, on the other hand, had no reason to be suspicious at all. It wasn't like the time with Rin, where he thought she was normal. Still, Ken would join her in the seat on the bench. Not at all, I'd be happy to chat. Ken would say as he sat next to her, watching her gently play with Pascal. Well, I'm a police officer who now has about one month worth of experience. I moved here a while ago from Japan, and so far, it's a very peaceful town. Ken would say to her. Technically, he's not wrong, since he's a detective, but still have police jurisdiction. He'd even prove it by showing his badge. So far, the people are nice, even my coworkers.... I ... guess.... He somewhat hesitated for a bit, as he remembered Konstantin, who was basically the slightly annoying one who fed Pascal chocolates. But yeah! Tell me about yourself. He would ask her. So far, she was exceptionally pretty. The eyes, the hair, and even the smile. Although Ken tried to push those thoughts back, he tried to not make it look obvious.

Giggling at the profuse wagging, the sight was quite fetching. Her warm almond gaze lingered on that blur of black and white fur for a moment more. 'He is such a sweetheart.' The woman switched gears for this endearing pups as she went to scratch him behind the ear. If she was being honest with herself, Victoria wanted to see what kind of reaction would come when she rubbed a different part of the puppyโs body. Her attention shifted back to the man as he took a seat on the bench. The smile on her lips grew just a bit more. It was nice to have company because, after all, you never know what could come out of it. "Thatโs wonderful to hear. If you need to go somewhere quickly, Iโll completely understand if you need to run off." The brunette replied politely before looking down at Pascal. "Unless your partner starts dashing off again." Giggling softly at the thought, she could only imagine Ken running frantically to retrieve his pup.
"Congratulations!" Victoria clapped his hands at his one month experience comment. Though in the small burst of excitement she forgot to thank him! "Even though youโve only been on the force for a month, thank you for keeping the city as safe as you can possibly make it." Closing her eyes and tilting her head to the left, her expression was serene. But something he said about his co-workers caught her attention. "Is everything alright at work?" Victoria asked curiously as her head tilted to the right. 'I hope everything is going alright at the police station.'
But the conversation would soon shift to her. Heartwarming caramel opened up as she thought about how she should introduce herself. "Iโm originally from Monaco which is surrounded by France and the Meditterenean Sea." Her gaze shifted back down to the pup. "It is alright if you donโt know much about it. Iโm sure even I would have some trouble finding it on a world map." To express how small of a country it was, she brought her fingers up and placed a small gap between her index finger and thumb. "As for my job, I work as a Cashier at a Convenience Store by LeVane Academy." Turning her attention to the area, Victoria tried her best to pinpoint the area from where she sat. Though the woman doubted he could actually see the store from this location. "I think it might be a bit too far for our eyes to see." Realizing that the trees and buildings blocked their view, her face possessed an awkward smile at her fumble. "What else would you like to know Ken?"

Oh! Hehe, thanks I guess? I haven't been doing much. Ken would say with a nervous laugh. In reality, that was a lie. He had seen his share of bodies and death before. Some of the death and destruction he had seen in his time here, especially fighting with the pro heroes, he knew that the regular police officers wouldn't be able to keep up if that was the case. Yet with Victoria, he can't have her worry. And don't worry. I'll still manage to make time for you.... Er-- W-well... I mean... not that... I'm implying we're... uhh.. y'know what I mean! Ken would quickly blush as he would see Pascal enjoying his time with Victoria. Seeing Kenichi's flustered face made him snicker at the blushing cop. When she asked about how it was at work, he shrugged. Yeah, they're fine. They seem to be okay with a rookie like me. I know one of the guys Oliver is super cool, and Konstantin is well... the life of the office. And my partner Azazel, he's super nice... but auper freakin scary! He obviously got the most experience. He said, talking about the time he saw Az literally rip the blood right out of an armed suspect's body. If that wasn't nightmare fuel, he didn't know what was. The thought soon went away when Victoria was talking about Monaco where she was originally from. Even that she was working near the kids at the convenience store next to the academy. Oh nice! I always wanted to go here to learn, but I went to U.A. Highschool instead. So what's Monaco like? He asked.

Milk chocolate locks swayed back and forth as she shook her head. She felt that he was being modest in his answer. "You donโt have to be modest around me. The policeโs presence brings a sense of security and calmness to tense situations. Iโm sure that people are very thankful, so please donโt put yourself down." Though Victoria had no means of knowing what was going on in his mind, she tried to assure him that he had a part in the bigger picture. The men in blue were doing their best to keep the city safe and bring peace of mind to every person living within the concrete jungle. Maybe she was being a bit naive with her thoughts.
Victoria giggled at his flustered manner before nodding her head. "I understand." Her words were carried on her elated behavior, a hand was raised to hide her little bubbles of tee-hees. "We just met after all. It would be rather forward of you to think we were something more after only one meeting." So Victoria reassured Kenichi that everything was right as rain. The rouge color on his cheeks seemed to hint that he was slightly flustered from his statement. 'That is an endearing feature. I wonder if he is mixed up in something he doesnโt mean to be?' Thinking that to herself, those almond lenses shifted to his information. The word [Vigilante] was still present in his information. 'Are there different types out there?'
"But everyone starts as a rookie somewhere." She politely reminded him before resuming her attention to Pascal. He seemed to be content with the shower of attention. Victoriaโs eyes narrowed slightly in an affectionate manner as her fingers ran through the pupโs fur. "Though, even for a rookie, it sounds like your life is filled with a lot of colorful people. Your partner, Azazel, it sounds like he could teach you a lot." It wasnโt until she recalled that a particular name was brought up that she looked at Ken in surprise. "You know Oliver too?!" That was a name she didnโt think sheโd hear this morning. Although she did hear her neighbor bustling about his place today in the morning. The sound of an engine rustled her from a pleasant slumber and enticed her curiosity to see what the hubbub was. Lately, it was often getting a bit loud over there but the car engine wasnโt usually the source of the loudness. "Oh wait, I should probably explain myself first." Clearing her throat, the store clerk tried to find the right words. "Oliver is my neighbor so I see him occasionally." That was the truth! The two lived nearby and sometimes greeted each other. She often found it odd that most people wouldnโt say โHelloโ when they saw their neighbor.
"Iโve heard that U.A is a rather prestigious school. What was it like?" Ah but she hadnโt forgotten that Ken inquired about her home. "Well, it is a very small country but a lot of wealthy people tend to live there. Celebrities often frequent it because our weather stays fairly constant. There is also the casinos, the Grand Prix, Tennis Masters, shopping...hmmm, we do have some water sports." It felt like something was missing from her small introduction to Monaco. "Well, Monaco is home so thatโs what it is like." With a slight beam of a smile sent his way, she thought it was only appropriate to ask the same question in turn. "What about your home. I believe you said Japan, I think. Iโd like to hear more about your life there."
The first semester consisted of him working most of the time. There were some people he got closer with--most he happened to know before he got into the school. It's been a blessing to reconnect with his childhood friend, but painful at the same time. They are still close but a bit distant at the same time. He gets it. Still, it isn't how he wishes things were--not like he had control over such a thing. That's why he was trying to focus more on others and making money. Now he was in the second semester taking classes. He still worked at the cafe though. He couldn't leave Sean alone after all.
Haruki actually knew one of his teammates: Rebecca. She was the one who helped him get into the school and reconnect to his childhood friend at the same time. He would be forever grateful for that. He knew the other two, but not all that well. Of course he'd be just as friendly with them as anyone else. Currently, they were taking a nice stroll through the park. Everything seemed peaceful. It almost felt like they weren't doing something as important as patrolling for their field class. "Have any of you been patrolling before?" He asked out of curiosity. This was his first time taking classes so he was just assuming they did something like this in the previous semester. Well, maybe not Lawrence. He came in later. Should they talk about a strategy? They all know which role they played, but was there more to it? Maybe he was overthinking it. The point was to learn and grow with real-life experience.

So much happened over the timeskip that the narrator wishes to not bring those things up. For now, we should all focus on a happy Rebecca, right? Right!
Today was the day that everyone went out with their โHeroโ outfit on. The girl was not the most eager one to call their uniform such a thing. โI feel like Iโm lying about myself.โ It was what their mind thought of when the material was situated on her body. The one thing she wanted to do, when requesting for this attire, was that it concealed them entirely. Becca desired for nothing to tie the usage of her ability to her hidden identity. Though only a few people knew about the nature of her peculiarity, she was fairly tightlipped about it in the present.
While the teenโs face was covered with the mask, the attire probably attracted a lot of unwanted attention. It didnโt exactly scream โHeroโ as the petite girl walked along with familiar faces. You first had Marion. They were the very first student they had ever interacted in the Cemetery when Rebecca first arrived in the city. Their interaction definitely left an impression on her but getting the nerve to talk to an S class person was harder than she anticipated. The mute expression, their manners, it was a personality this Alaric barely ran into. And much more, it was a personality she didnโt know how to communicate to. Much studying had to be done before her petite mouth had the courage to open up to her. That was why she did her best to interact with all kinds of people so that she would be prepared to talk to Marion one day!
There was Lawrence too, though he was a bit on the mystery end. Maybe someone had whacked Rebecca with an amnesia stick because she couldnโt recall much of him right now. Though, she had a vague feeling that they did meet each other over the four months. More was to be said about this.
Haruki! Rebecca knew him very well since she pretty much tracked his a** down to help Yoshiro. That didnโt seem to help her very much in the end. As she didnโt necessarily open up to Haruki about everything in her life, she did like to talk about miscellaneous things with him. He was always fun to talk to, whether that was in the cafe or anywhere else. Harukiโs hero outfit seemed to hint towards the olden days. She believed it was called the Medieval Period. It looked nice on him and definitely made him stand out from the others.
And Professor Soren. He was a mystery! It was hard to describe a man she didnโt interact much with.
"Patrolling? I guess you could say that." Their voice came out deep and slightly robotic. Their mask had a voice changing feature to further hide the girlโs identity. "We should probably use our codenames during todayโs mission. You can call me Gris." It was her attempt to talk in a big group like this.

Unlike the rest of his squadron Lawrence opted to forego any sort of hero costume, though the school insisted on having some sort of attire to represent the fact that he was a hero on duty, so the Scot went with a simple metal half-mask that covered his nose and mouth. Despite that small detail, he wore his usual attire, a dark-gray denim vest with a white hood, white, sleeveless dress shirt, black jeans, combat boots, and of course, the wraps along his arms. He kind of hated the idea of wearing a super hero costume in the first place, wouldn't it be better to disguise yourself amongst the populace and then put on a quick disguise before confronting a criminal?
For the most part, Lawrence was keeping quiet, hands tucked away in his vest pockets as the others led the way on the patrol. Once the crimson clad man, Haruki, spoke up Lawrence simply shrugged his shoulders, though after hearing the cloaked student, Rebecca, 's response he felt obligated to actually socialize, "Naw. I've wandered the city a bit, but I dinnae think if ya can really call that patrollin'." the youth admitted, his voice coming out normally, though a bit muffled from the mask he wore. Rebecca's suggestion gave Lawrence pause, as he didn't really use a codename of any sort, but he had to go along with it, if the rest of the team did. A small sigh escaped him as his hand slipped free from the confines of his pocket, "I dinnae use code names. Just call me whatever suits yer fancy." his words were accompanied by a dismissive wave of his hand. It wasn't like he could use his nicknames, as they were tied to something less than heroic.

First semester was mostly evetless for Marion, she attended her classes, work at the cafe after class, return to her dorm to study and repeat. Though on occasions she'd study with a few of her peers such as Rebeca & Yoshiro. Oh, she has also been going to the cemetery at her free time to practice with her peculiarity.. and also cleaning the tombstones of moss and dirt because it seems to please the spirits. Months have passed since she began attending LeVane, it certainly was a fresh start for her yet she still felt that fear she had about how others would treat her because of the nature of her peculiarity to the point she wasn't comfortable with herself and tried to forget about it, pushing it away to make it easy to ignore it. But now, she managed to accept it. Her first step in her own development, though she hasn't exactly been comfortable to really share it with her peers yet.. one step at a time.
Today was the field class, everyone was put in teams of four with each given a specific role to perform along with a task and a supervisor. She was the 'scout' of her team so she is assuming that she is the one who has to sneak around to collect pertinent information that would be useful for them to complete their task. Her small build gives her an advantage to not get spotted so easily, and with her peculiarity she can use the spirits to go out too; not many people can see them though she knows a few of her peers can.
Marion doesn't really have a hero attire, despite her trying to overcome her anxiety she still hasn't found herself comfortable wearing anything else besides Gothic Lolita/ Victorian style dresses without feeling her skin crawl and all kinds of gut wrenching feeling. Maybe.. thatโs just how itโll be. Itโs not like her current fashion style is doing anything wrong. So! Her outfit for today is a long sleeved full black dress with a short cape jacket on top with her usual black tights. And accompanying her is her traity black parasol, assuming itโll be sunny today, she has to take precautions to avoid getting a sunburn or worse, heat exhaustion.
She made her way to the city part which is where her team is meeting up, she really only knows one of them which was Rebecca. The professor whoโs with them teaches Literature, heโs quite strict and can even be frightening to a degree with you make too much noise in his class, luckily thatโs not like her to be loud. But she doesnโt really know the two others, they might be in her class and she might of seen them there but she probably hasn't spoken to either of them. After strolling through the park under her parasol till she noticed the other three were already there. Pitter patter of her little feet as she approached them. She offered a small small bow as her to apologise for her tardiness. She didn't answer Haruki's patrolling question since she has never done that so it doesn't apply to her though Rebecca mention codenames, she remembered the one she gave herself as it seemed quite fitting with her peculiarity and a slight irony to her doll like appearance. "I suppose that means you call me Puppeteer." She spoke softly.
He had a happy life... Everything was perfect...Brad was in his forties and had met the love of his life. They were to be married in a weeks. He was the happiest man but that all came shattering down this morning. When Brad came home from a night shift this morning he found his love of his life in bed with another man. She had been cheating on him for months! This woman was only using him for his money! Brads mother was right about her! There was only one reason why a young beautiful woman would be with him and that was for his bank account! This woman confessed to it all, that she never really did love him and now that the secret was out that there was no point going through the wedding. She never wanted to marry a ugly bold pig!
After finding out, the heartbroken man wandered the city like a zombie as he drank a bottle of rum in a paper bag. Dragging his feet and stumbling about, Brad made his way to the park. This is where they met... This place sickened him. How could he fall for someone like her!? He was now looking at the playground where children were playing and their mothers watched them play, all with smiles. " Look at them... Its all a lie! I bet you all cheat on your husbands! You sl*ts! Every last one of you! You are all like that b*tch!" He shouted at the families that were at the playground. Children looked at the drunk man confused and scared as they did not understand what was happening. Parents gasped and tried to gather their children and get away but then that's when things got out of hand...
Reaching into his bag, Brad pulled out a yellow liquid bottle that had a thick needle at the end of it. The drunk stabbed the needle right into his shoulder, letting the yellow liquid flow through his body. Around that area that the needle was placed his skin started to bubble up. His skin started to become more red and his body was shifting and bubbling up in strange ways. Another yellow liquid bottle was placed into his arm and his body started to burn and melt it looked like. Children and parents screamed as they saw the sight before them. People scrambled to get their crying children off the playground as they saw the drunk turn into a hideous thing. " YOU ARE ALL TRASH!!!" The mutated man was now bigger then before and had his strength increased. He stomped over to a teeter totter, ripping it out of the ground and tossing it to the playground, thankfully missing the terrified people of the park.

HARUKI BELROSE The Myth Buster
Hazel eyes shifted to look at Rebecca when she replied. It was a bit odd to hear such a voice come out of the mask. Their outfits were completely different. They didn't match at all. Not like this was a costume contest. Soon his gaze shifted to Lawrence. Wandered the city? They weren't supposed to walk around the city alone, but just because it sounded like that's what the other was implying it didn't mean it was true. He could have done it before starting at the school as well. "I see." He said in a normal him type of tone. Then Rebecca brought up their codenames. Hers being Gris. Why Gris? Maybe he'd ask later. "Mine's...Myth Buster." He said with a smile before letting out a chuckle. A hand raising to cover his mouth. It was a silly name really. One which made him laugh every time when thinking about it. He realized the others wouldn't catch on to the joke if they didn't know how his peculiarity worked, but he didn't mind.
"Oh. Do you want to do some scouting up ahead, Puppeteer?" He asked since he knew it was the role she was placed in. His gaze shifting over to her for a moment. It wouldn't hurt. There was a lot of park to cover after all. Whether she agreed or not was up to her. Haruki would see no reason to push the matter. When that was settled he went back to the naming situation. "No code name, huh? Are you sure you want us to call you whatever?" He teased lightly before flashing a smile. Then he took his time to actually think about it. "Brawler. How about Brawler since you tend to fight with your fists?" Even if he hadn't physically seen the other fight they had to know about their own teammates in order to work efficiently. Maybe not everything was needed to know, but at least the basics. Lawrence was their offense so it would make sense for him to be able to hold his own--at least to some degree.
It wasn't long after the code name talk when the first scream rippled through the air. Many others soon following suit. By that point, Haruki came to a stop and looked at the others. "That direction?" He pointed where he thought the sound was coming from just to confirm so they don't head in the completely wrong area. Haruki took off in the said direction, urging the others if needed, after they confirmed it. "Puppeteer." He said as he glanced over to her. It felt a bit weird using code names. "Can you tell us what's going on?" They weren't terribly close and it would be best to know what they were heading into.

Hues of blues went over to Lawrence. A quick mental note was made regarding his travels in the city. The young teen had often gone around this metropolis herself but hadnโt crossed his path before. โWhere does he go?โ The girl asked herself before thinking about his code name. A finger tapped her bicep as they began to think. "What about codename: Bard?" It sounded fairly close to his last name but she didnโt know the nature of his peculiarity. Well, she didnโt realize that she spoke at the same time Haruki chirped in. With her voice being naturally soft, it probably fell on deaf ears. The girl wouldnโt have respoken her words as their shoulders were shrugged, it mattered little.
Then looking towards Marion, a nod was given. Though Becca did have a rough idea about her peculiarity. Her thoughts drifted to the time in the cemetery and recollected how Marion moved the dead body before. โThe name makes sense, but what else can she do?โ To the best of her ability, the Alaric member can hardly remember a time when the porcelain girl used their power. But today was a day where they were gonna show what they got. Rebecca wasnโt sure about this. She was already planning on ways to make sure that no one got the hint of her capabilities.
Behind their mask, the teenager smiled a bit at Harukiโs words. She was already fully aware of what his peculiarity could do. The girl wanted to attempt a joke but her courage meter wasnโt up today. She seemed to be lacking as nothing but silence came out of that masked mouth.
Then the action began to take place. The professor seemed to be out of commission for the time being, meaning that everyone here was going to have to work together. For one reason or another, the way Haruki took charge reminded her of Yoshiro. Just the thought of him was irking the girl and putting her in a quiet mood. She sighed quietly to herself. The teen was already tempted to stick a knife in someoneโs body, but that would probably reflect poorly on her grades. Becca could only curse her luck as the thought was put away. Her role in all this was to play as Support. She was just meant to pick up everyone elseโs slack, meaning, her job could be really easy.
So for the meantime, the masked individual looked around the clearing. They all proceed to grow closer to the sound, just as she was sure everyone else would too. Rebecca almost entirely ignored Haruki and the rest of her own teammates as she took in the situation from afar. They were less than a mile from the individual and it was better to get a decent idea about what was going on. โI should be fine from here.โ The girl told herself as she concentrated. Everything seemed to slow down tremendously as her mind began to wander around the space. From an outsiderโs view, she was just standing still and quiet. Nothing really looked like anything was wrong. But she saw the disturbance, the people, the children, the thrown teeter-totter; she saw it all.
Her role in this wasnโt to take someone else's. So Rebecca waited for Marion to do her thing and withheld her own information. There was nothing wrong with having two people scout the area, right?

Silently, Lawrence listened as the others gave their suggestions for his codename, there was two: Brawler and Bard, through he only barely caught that one. The former was an apt descriptor, given his style of clothing and fighting prowess, while the latter was... less apt, essentially just using his last name save for a letter. Bringing a hand up to scratch the side of his head, Lawrence felt a tad awkward, "Brawler'll do fer now." he stated as he dropped his hand back down. The black-clad woman gave them her codename as well, Puppeteer, something about that name gave Lawrence bad vibes, but he had yet to figure out what she was capable of. Now that that business was all sorted out, the group could continue on with their patrol.
Shortly after their discussion the sound of voices crying out in terror echoed from the other side of the park, followed by a distorted, monstrous shout and the sound of metal crashing against metal. Lawrence was quick to get into a fighting stance, bending his knees slightly and holding his fists up at about collar height, a traditional boxer's stance. Seeing Myth-Buster break into a sprint, Lawrence felt it was only appropriate to follow suit, "Yeah, seemed like it came from that way." the Scot confirmed the direction as he began to pick up the pace, he had even begun to outpace the others. the desire to fight starting to take effect. Mothers were clinching onto their crying children as they watched the mutated man destroyed the park. He continued to rip things out of the ground from the play ground and tossing across the playground as he yelled. He was yelling about how that they were all lairs, cheaters, unfaithful and that they should pay for their sins. A brave father tried running up to the monster to stop him but that only resulted he himself being picked up and tossed across the park. The wife screamed in horror as she watched the father of her child be tossed to the side like a rag doll. The scream irradiated the mutant and he stomped over to the woman and grabbed her by the neck. " YOU DON'T EVEN LOVE HIM! YOU CHEAT! SCUM! TRASH!" He yelled before he tossed her to the side just like he did with the husband.
" Mommy! Daddy! A little boy cried as he watched his parents be tossed around. The little boy was sitting on top of the jungle gym as this all happened. The mutant looked up to the crying child and stomped over to it. He grabbed the jungle gym from the base and started to pull up so that the jungle gym was slowly starting to rip out of the ground with the little boy still on top! If nothing was dealt with soon the jungle gym will be flipped with the little crying boy still on it!
