The volcano rumbling did have Nereid rethinking her decisions. She didn't know a whole lot about dream realms and what they consisted of, power wise. When he shifted from leopard to man, albeit he had pointy ears, her eyes widened and she covered his hand with her own.

"Sorry. Sorry." She looked around, "I am really sorry." and she really was, because she didn't mean to upset him, just amuse him.

"Wake me up then, I'm not ready for this level yet."

Leopard rumbled, attention still sharp - but not violent.

"That is better, Nereid of Waterfalls," his voice wasn't a hiss, but it lacked the rumbling vibrato of the feline body. "Remember you are a guest, behave. Then you can stay."

"No it's totally chill. I think I'll come back after I cool off. I'm not trying to die in a dream world side quest at the moment. I gotta level up and make it to the final tier. Become a five star hero." Nereid looked over at the leopard...man.

"Hey maybe next time, if you let me back, you can tell me your name at least? And more about the place?"

He raised his brows slightly at Nereid's insistence upon leaving now, but wouldn't combat it further. "This place is hardly a side quest," he noted - no harshness in his voice.

Stepping back, Leopard considered her inquiry silently. "Perhaps," he relented, "we shall see."

Then, he released her from the hold he'd put her in, allowing her to drift back through the veil between this place and dreams.
