Somehow, Rhona knew that was already the wrong answer.

"But hey, how about instead of ordering it from the restaurant, we order for pick up and you can take me to the Asian market and educate me some more! It's all so fascinating! Then when we have real soy sauce, we can drop by, pick up the food, and head back here!"

No reason to not make a day of it, after all. Rhona felt like a whole new world had been opened up to her and she was eager to get to know all of it. Head first, that was her way. And once she was fluent enough in recipes and ingredients, she could make Xi meals that he loved... even if it was all too spicy for her. There had to be a way to adjust the spice for each serving, right? She felt like kimchee was involved... or was that Korean? That felt Korean. She would need to study up on her own, clearly, if she wanted to make Xi proud of her.

Oh, well at least there was what, Rhona supposed. Not everything that she had been led to believe had been a lie, at least. But then Xi started listing off food regions and types and lost Rhona again. Canto... wasn't that from pokemon? She had been mistaken before, but... wait, was Canto the root word for Cantonese? That made sense it was just... wait, Xi, was still talking.

"Oh yeah..." Rhona said, uncertain what she had just agreed to for a few moments. After those few moments, however, her brain caught up and her eyes brightened.

"Oh, yeah!" Rhona nearly leapt off of the couch and onto her feet. "Let me leave a note for Liam and then I'll drive yeah?" She was already reaching for her keys as she spoke. The note she left for Liam was vague, that she was heading out grocery shopping with Xi, and to text her if he needed anything. After a moment of consideration, she also left her number on the note as well. Just in case.

"Lead the way, Xi!"
