Ducky watched Thulani, smiling nonchalantly. She had a hidden thought tucked up her sleeve. Perhaps, just to get a few days off, she would drop Blush off at Thulani's up in the city with a note. Of course, she wouldn't just push her daughter out the door and give her directions, she'll march her right up to the city and to his door, knock and possibly run? No, that's bad, definitely bad. Somehow, she needs to figure out a way to get Blush out of the house for a few days, so that she can have peace and quiet and not be afraid of stepping into a potential trap of hers."Awe!" Blush whined, folding her arms against her chest, pouting at Thulani. "I'm going back to my trap. Need a bit more tinkering!" the young female exclaimed. This one wasn't about to go and get herself digging in her mother's garden, the woman dragged her away several times today and with her distracted, she can go back to tinker with her latest trap!

Thulani continued on with his business wholly unaware of the mischief brewing behind the scenes.
Figuring that was his cue, he offered a shrug and llet himself in to place his backpack against the wall, grabbed a pair of gloves, gave his arms a quick stretch, and headed out. Once there he grabbed a hoe and leaned it against his shoulder as he looked back. "This one right here, right?" he checked before heading over and starting with the literal legwork. As he worked, he offered some small talk, "Finally gettin' tired of all tha sweet potatoes?"

Ducky laughed, shaking her head. "Never, but it isn't the season for sweet potatoes. I already gave your sweet mama a bucketful. Actually, she came for a bit of visit, tea, and everything and left with one," she murmured, giving a shrug as she smiled at Thulani."I learned from your mama it is good to rotate your plants. Don't want to kill the soil, I guess. Let me help you with that. Best to get things done before it gets dark, and you don't walk home in the dark. Spooky things out at night."Ducky is about to learn just how spooky things can just get these days...(RP END)
