That was really unfortunate that it was on the monsters head.
Mintaka actually made an annoyed face, mottling the normally serene smile. It was going to be troublesome to hold on to the guardian and also teach the new senshi magic when he wouldn't even give her name or her power or....or her pen.
She handed the wailing ball of fur over to the woman with an apology. "Well if we want to get anywhere, I suppose we need to get that hat." She stretched for just a brief moment, and then ran right at the wall to the left of the monster. Using the small indent of lines as grip, the woman's boots stuck to the wall with sheer power and will before she was up on one of the rooftops. It was much higher for the girl to just reach the hat so she aligned herself just right. "Okay, here we go."
And she dove towards the monsters head, hand outreached for the small hat donning the super monsters head.

Ashley had never held a cat before in her life and she hadn't expected to be tasked with such a job at that very moment, either, much less holding a very vocal, very upset cat who was screeching and wailing over his missing accessory that some horrible goop monster had taken for itself.
Hands fumbled as she tried to hold on to the squirming Persian, eyes darting over to follow the other girl as she seemed to have a handle on... whatever it was, exactly, that she was doing. Her run, her focus, everything seemed so... poised that Ashley couldn't help but stare, even despite the high potential that her arms were about to get the blood clawed out of them thanks to the angry feline.
As Mintaka reached for the hat, the younger woman held her breath - was she going to get it??

Theoretically, Theodore knew that he could help them retrieve his hat because he was very capable of beaming the youma with his starbeam, but as far as he was concerned dealing with such things was beneath him.
But also, it was Mintaka's fault that he didn't have his hat. She had interfered and stolen his senshi and had knocked his hat off when she scooped him up off the ground.
If she got dirty or gross retrieving his hat, that was her problem. If she wanted him to be useful, she needed to get it back.
It was fair as far as he was concerned.
But for poor Ashley, or Gorky as his senses told him, she'd find that Theodore draped his entire furry body across her chest and shoulder, claws digging into her collar as he wailed.
"I NEED my HAT."

Divine punishment for stealing Theodore's senshi came when she was able to grab the hat but the monsters arm swung crushing her into the wall. She frisbee'd the small accessory towards Theodore and her newest Senshi before wheezing out.
"Pen please Theodore." She was adamant that Gorky get her pen and magic. "When you do-" She tried to move her arm so she'd no longer be crushed.
"Attack with magic and dust the youma."
Ghouliboo Dust and then we can wrap? OVO

Watching the other girl get smacked around by the monster had Ashley panicking but on top of the panic was a strong sense of... anger? Was she angry and actually able to do something about it?
Although she had no clue as to who or what she was, a power inside of her began to blossom, quiet words forming in the back of her head. Peeling the small cat from off of her (claws and all), she stood up and spread her legs apart. Hands moved up as if by instinct and she cried out, "Detritus Disaster"
All at once, a large glob of something went hurtling at the monster. When it splattered upon impact, the monster scattered with it, blown into a thousand small pieces of dust --- and gone, just like that.
It was bewildering, to say the very least, but that didn't stop a sense of pride from swelling up inside of the young woman. Scooping up the cat (with his hat, no less), she hurried over towards the other girl to check on her, the group now having plenty of free time to go over the small details and answer Ashley's growing number of questions.
