"Oh, sure! I could stay in here like this for a while," Rune responded in what resembled a musically happy tune right before all traces of Kalani vanished. "Now where was I..."
On the back of Rune's mind, she realized that.. the longer Kalani remained outdoors indeterminate amount of time for the day, hopefully doing things Rune hoped Kalani would stand to do or finish (a hardly realistic expectation but this mauvian would keep hoping for it regardless), the sooner Rune could resume where she left off in regards to her song cover recording.
Making up her mind, Rune finally burst out from the comforter and resumed her place by Kalani's laptop and deftly (as her paws would allow) booted up the relevant software and lyrics. Rubbing her paws, Rune grinned and as if nothing was ever wrong... sang the next verse of her song cover to the microphone. With any luck, I might just be able to finish this before Kalani returns home? Perhaps this affliction isn't so bad... not bad for her latest song cover pursuits, that is.
