“Here’s a bit of advice I give everyone facing their first power up,” Acubens offered with a hand on Romulus’ shoulder, “you’re never ready.” Granted… Acubens liked power ups to be less stressful than this. Preferably with time to walk the basic senshi in question through the process and then be with them for a while after wards but… this was far from a normal power up. Or anything, really. And the cat was right, they would need all the power they could get.
“I think…” Acubens began hesitantly, glancing at Navi as she spoke, as though looking for confirmation, “it would be best at this moment to split up. I’ll go with Romulus to power her up -- no one should do that alone -- and you take Sadal and scout the warehouse for a good point of entry?”
Granted, every survival guide ever said not to split up, but they didn’t really have a choice right now. Romulus couldn’t go to power up alone, it was sort of an unnerving process, and there was no use taking Sadal with them while having to babysit Navi who would need to be in contact with Acubens while she mirrorwalked with them. No, she reassured herself, this was the best way.
“Sadal,” she said gently, turning now to the other dark mirror, “Navi is white moon, yes, but I trust her with my life. When we get out of this, I’ll tell you about how she convinced me to corrupt, but right now I need you to trust me if you don’t trust her, okay?”

Tyrus
The curly haired one was smart, Tyrus decided, nodding to nobody but himself. “What she said,” he reaffirmed. What part of what she said? Well… Quite frankly, all of it sounded good to him! When Romulus offered him her pen, he grabbed it with his mouth (because who needed fingers anyway, right? ugh) and tossed his head back to release it into the air.
With the least amount of grace possible, Ty did a backflip (or more like a rolly-polly backwards summersault), tangling himself in his overly long scarf. When the pen dropped to the ground and he managed to get himself resituated, he grinned up at her.
“I feel it in my tummy. And my toes!,” he clenched his front paws so his claws extended and wiggling them into the dirt. “I’m absolutely, positively sure.” He glanced from Acubens back to Romulus, took a breath and nodded reassuringly.
“Now all you hafta do is go through that mirror,” he moved his head to nod in the direction of the mirror. “Then we’ll go get your people,” he added.
“Oh!,” he remembered excitedly, “I’ll also try’n dull your power signatures while we’re figuring out the plan,”
Stepping back so the Senshi could do their thang since he had done his part in Romulus’ upgrade, Tyrus focused all of his attention and power on keeping them as subdued as he could.

Mi-Hi
Sadalsuud gave the black and white cat another smile that was slightly brighter than the last one, because he truly was adorable and she really wished that she had some treats on hand to offer.
It was something she could maybe consider for another time - another time when things weren’t quite so serious.
But Miss Acubens was right that their Princess needed them.
She bit her lip anxiously when the curly-haired eternal suggested that they split up, because whilst it made sense for them to do so and to do so in the way that Acubens had suggested, a part of Sadalsuud couldn’t help but be nervous around the Order eternal.
Miss Acubens trusted her however and the Princess needed them and it was those two things that had her nodding to the curly-haired eternal because she did trust her and if Miss Acubens trusted the other with her life then she had no reason not to trust in that.
"Okay" green eyes glanced over and up into hazel eyes before glancing back to Acubens with a firm nod "Yes I can do that."

Navi
Splitting up didn’t sound like the best idea, but while the cat dealt with Romulus and vowed to dim their power that left Navi and the other basic standing around superfluously, and it really would be good if they could find a good point of entry into the warehouse they were standing near. “Alright,” she agreed, glancing between the two lower level senshi, the cat, then back to Acuben’s with a grateful smile at her trust.
“I’ll keep her safe, call if you need us,” she assured, taking a couple of steps back, and when Sadal turned that trusting face up to her Navi offered a genuine smile, nodding for her to follow.
“Keep close.” Navi knew what it what it felt like to be taken. To be at the mercy of someone deranged and dangerous. She’d had first had experience at being tortured, tormented, and broken down. They needed to get to Leto and whoever else was in there with her, but they needed to do it carefully. And Navi would be damned before she let anyone else be taken.
As Sadal fell into place at her side she took off at a jog towards the side of the building, pale eyes trained on the windows, the doors. Watching for any sign of danger coming out to meet them.
Not that they needed to use the doors.

Romulus
Despite the severity of the situation it was quite impossible to resist the smile that tugged at dark lips as she watched the cat tumble over himself and her henshin pen, tangling in the long length of the scarf looped around his neck. “Hold on, let me…” Crouching, she tucked her hands under him, lifting so she could get him untangled. Then, as she set him down again, she reclaimed the pen. It was different, the top having changed shape, and she eyed it for a moment before nodding down at the cat.
“Just a quick slip through, sounds easy.” Let it be that simple.
Straightening, her fingers curled tightly around the pen, she stepped up to the edge of the mirror laying half hidden in the bush. A breath in, held, and then she was stepping forward, dropping into the mirror like it was swimming hole.
The change was immediate, fuku different, overlay longer, bow larger. Romulus smoothed hands along her sides, over the dark of her skirt before looking back over her shoulder at the mirror she’d just come from.
Emerging was a little more difficult, a little less grateful, and she stumbled as the gravity shifted drastically for the second time in as many minutes. Balance regained, she stood before the cat and Dark Mirror eternal stronger.

Romulus emerged from the mirror with about as much grace as Acubens had when she had corrupted into her eternal form. She knew the disorientation and the strangeness, almost like a second puberty. Senses were widened and it had made her own brain itch each time she powered up. And then there were new powers to explore… Acubens wanted to take Romulus aside and let things settle in. She wanted to answer questions and offer assurances. She wanted to whoop and holler and embrace Romulus, but there was no time for that. No time for ceremony or celebration or anything. There was only a swift smile and then and thankful nod to the cat who had made it all possible. Later she would tell Romulus how proud she was. Let her ask any questions that she might have and answer them as best she could.
But for now she grabbed Romulus’ hand and said, “we’re going to have to find out what your new attack does when the fight breaks out… and there will be a fight.”
Finding the other two was not difficult, seeing that all Acubens had to do was home in on the only other dark moon aura. There was no time for greetings when she arrived and she merely heralded their arrival with a curt “did you find anything?”

Mi-Hi / Sadalsuud
Sadalsuud nodded at the comment to keep close, not about to argue–
Because whilst she was doing her best to help Miss Acubens and the Princess, she knew that she didn’t want to face whatever or whoever had taken the Princess on her own.
She increased her pace to match that of the Eternal, the nervousness back - nervousness interspersed with dread - that increased as they got closer and closer to the building where there was apparently a Knight.
Sadalsuud kept moving, her green eyes attempting to see if she could spot anything that could potentially be useful, noting first the main doors and then the windows.
She could sense the other Order aura, could feel its strength, could sense the three other chaotic auras - one of which she knew was that of their Princess - and had been around long enough to know that meant that they could probably sense her and the Order eternal with her as well.
It was something of a relief when Acubens and Romulus rejoined them, Sadalsuud’s green eyes taking in the change to the new Super’s outfit before peering surreptitiously around to see if she could spot the cat that had appeared to help them, but she shook her head at Acubens question.
"Not as yet" she admitted, because whilst there were windows and doors, none of them had seemed open, although she hadn’t had the chance to actually check.
She had been turning to do so with one of the windows, thinking it the best bet and then paused with a small frown, green eyes turning to look back towards the doors.
"Is the.. Is the Knight aura moving?" And if truth be told Sadalsuud wasn’t completely sure - but it didn’t feel like the other order aura was stationary.

Navi
When Romulus got her upgrade Navi felt it like a chill across her skin, and a small smile touched her lips as she and Sadal circled around the front part of the building. All they had time for before they were being rejoined. Romulus looked different, felt different, but that was to be expected. Any comments or compliments would have to wait until later.
"I think a frontal assult would probably be best, there's only two..." Her head tipped, brows creasing as she looked back towards the building behind them. "...one. Do you feel that?" One of the higher auras was gone. It could have meant something alarming, and a pit of dread formed in Navi's stomach, but she refused to believe it.
"Acubens and I can take point, and you two," she turned to Romulus and Sadal. "Find your princess and whoever else was taken.". It was a big warehouse, but they had Ty to help them, they could feel their auras. Navi trusted they'd find them.
"Is everyone ready?"

It had seemed that Tyrus' attempt to damper their power signatures may not have been as successful as the Mauvian had hoped. He tried to keep up with the group as fast as his legs would take his (probably too-large) body, but he was also trying to focus at the same time which... Apparently proved that multi-tasking was not his strong suit. As he finally approached the warehouse and met the group - with the newly upgraded Senshi in tow, PHEW! - he took a few very large breaths before plopping into a lazy sit. "The General is gone," Ty said in response to Navi's question.. Which either meant he was fleeing before the group assaulted the warehouse, or he was going for backup. For the group's sake, he hoped against all odds that it was the former and definitely not the latter. Backup was bad. "And that Knight's definitely one hundred percent on the move," he added. They needed to move quickly. It appeared that this was as ready as they could possibly be. It was go time. [mark that as a fin? since we moved to the next]
