Dammit! When did a vampire get to the meeting last night? Now the Valkyrie are siding with them? Something is definitely wrong here.' Karthin thought as he listened in on the council meeting. As the head vampire left he decided to follow him. He couldn't be sure, but he had a feeling that this vampire was what was causing this sense of dread. As he eavesdropped on the conversation with Angela he had to stop himself from rushing into the the room to help the poor girl being held there. When the vampire finally left Karthin waited a few minutes before going into the room. "Seems like they're really doing a number on you huh?" He asked. He quickly made his way over to her. "I'm gonna let you out, but you have to promise to get the ******** out of here as quickly as you can. I can't have you trying to get revenge on those stupid vampires just yet." He told her as he pulled out a knife. He looked at her intently waiting for her to respond.

Karthing shook his head. "Don't thank me. I was the reason why you got into this mess." He told her with a stern look on his face. "And trust me. I'll get payback for you soon enough. Those bastards will regret the day they messed with a friend of mine." He told her as he cut the rope. He kept the rope in his bag. "Now hurry up and get out of here. If you want I'll meet you at The Hog's Head later and explain things, but that's for later." He told her. "In case I haven't already introduced myself my name is Karthin."

Karthin gritted his teeth. He quickly dashed out of the room. He silently made his way out of the building. He hid in the crowd to avoid detection from the vampires. 'Damn those bloodsuckers. One day soon I will have his head.' He thought to himself. He quickly made his way to The Hog's Head and sat beside Angela. "Do you want your answers now or later when we can have some privacy?" He asked as he ordered a drink. He downed the drink quickly and ordered another one.

Karthin nodded as he took a seat. "Mine starts back when I was young. The troupe found me abandoned in the woods. They initially raised me to be a diplomat, but I didn't take well to that kind of life." He told her. He sighed heavily. "I was better suited for, what the troupe called, covert ops. So I was trained in that area of work. Since I'm the most agile one in the troupe now they send me to gather info or conduct secret meetings." He continued. "Last night I met with an Orc and a member of the Demon royal family. Apparently my leader has had contact with them for some time now. They had info that he needed so I went to get it, and the only thing I can think of for why you were captured was because a vampire caught wind of it, and told their superiors, and the only race I can think of that can take down both of them are your Valkyries." He explained to her. "So I'm sorry to cause you so much trouble, and if you want to back a different race then I understand."

Karthin was shocked to hear her say she didn't blame him for what happened. Most of the world has grown to hate a lot of elves for one reason or another. He coughed as he chocked on his drink when she asked to speak to the leader of the troupe. "Surely this would be a matter better suited for the representative of our people would it not?" He asked her. He knew the answer was no, but if he could keep her away from the leader than he would be doing her a favor. "I would think that he has the same or maybe more info then we do right?" He continued his questioning trying to convince her that the elf representative wasn't the complete moron that he was. He saw that he was not having the desired effect and sighed in defeat. "Fine I'll take you to him, but just know that he isn't the friendliest guy in the world. He values usefulness over everything. The only reason I'm still alive is because he still has a use for me." He explained to her. He got out of his seat. and walked towards the door. "Put the cloak and hood back on and follow me.
Don't stray to far away or you might get lost, and right now we can't have that." He told her as he opened the door. "After your meeting I'll take you to my favorite pub and buy you a drink to apologize."

'It's not him I'm worried about." Karthin thought as he exited the building with Angela on his heels. He quickly weaved through the crowds and made his way towards the campsite the troupe were staying at. Every once in a while he would look back to see if Angela was still there. When they finally made it to the campsite Karthin waved at a few of the other elves that were standing around. He guided Angela to the second biggest tent before he held the flap open for her. "As they say in the entertainment business, it's showtime my dear." He said as he gestured for her to step inside.

"Karthin who is this woman, and why is she so impolite?" The leader asked choosing to ignore the woman in front of him for now. "Her name is Angela. She is the representative for the Valkyrie people, and she has just been through a traumatic life experience at the hands of some vamp Karthin told him. "As she stated before she is wanting to ally with the Elvish nation, and since I saved her from the situation with the vamps she wants to go through the troupe to establish this connection." He explained. He walked over to Angela. "Next time remember that introductions are important to guys like the boss over there." He whispered to her. "I think I'll let her finish pleading her case to you liege, and see what you have to say about it." He finished with a slight bow. He gave Angela a look that said she would do good to follow suit.
