Ruehi paused in her search to look up at him. She supposed she did prefer to go alone. Or at the very least without her brother tagging along. If she had a friend or something to come with her then she might not mind so much. So far she was enjoying his company. So she nodded her head a bit at him. "I take him along when I'm not going too far from home. In case he wanders off he can find his way back home." Rue could just imagine the feeling of panic if she lost her little brother in a place that neither of them were familiar with.

With the discussion of his color of choice she lifted a brow at him. "Hm. Mossy green is always a nice color. Can't say I've seen the inky purple." She imagined it was a sight to see though. Ruehi figured she'd need to find that color and maybe make something for Rewi.

She paused in her search as he described the color. Inky purple. So it was mostly black then? Ruehi thought about that for a second. A true black was hard to come by as far as stones went. Even more so to find one that was transparent. "I would love to have something like that for myself." Her eyes then took in that he was no longer searching but rather picking at the ground. She wasn't offended by this in the least but instead it made her smile at him.

Rue was busy looking at him, taking in his appearance, when he mentioned that he didn't know her name. It was enough to make her blink and remember that she'd not given it. How rude of her. Though she'd been a bit distracted so perhaps that could be forgiven. "Ruehi." She had the hint of a smile as she gave her name after getting his. They were similar. "Nice to meet you." Greetings and obligatory things aside, she actually did think it nice to meet him. She found him interesting; physically as well as personally. "I actually don't live too far from here and I'm not hard to find. I'm the only Ruehi in the area." She had a friend who had a cousin who knew another Ruehi but they lived in a different part of the river. Farther down if she recalled right.

She watched as he pulled a doll from his bag. Ruehi let both brows raise up at the sight of it but as he explained that she might need a model she smiled. Moving through the water over to where he was she reached out with both hands to take the creation. "She'd very pretty." Even for as unskilled as he was with the practice she liked the raggedy doll. Holding it she moved the hair a bit and looked fondly upon it for a second.

"Ke'loa." She named the doll. Lifting her gaze up to look at Rewi she let her smile widen a bit more. "Thank you. I'll make her some very nice jewelry." Now she just needed to figure out what would work best on her little model.
