Nadia smiled at the woman. "You forget who I am the sister of." If anyone had a harder to read face, it was Sergei. Nadia was pretty smart and good at seeing the changes in ones face that others didn't think they saw. It didn't help Still though, that Nadia was more keen to pay attention to her.
When the taller woman came over, taking her into a easy sway, her heart stuttered a little in her chest. She could see now why Sergei had been more inclined to be swayed by the dashing pirate senshi.
If she wasn't madly in love with Lorne, Still would've held some appeal, even when she shared the similar face and features of Sedna....and Olga.
The question made her snort. "Learning from Sergei." She shook her head but played along. This was Still, and not Olga and she was curious.
"No, not that she told me." Nadia tilted her head, "But I could be saying that just to make them sound like bad guys. I could be lying." She swayed again, "Olga was very justice orientated. She liked to throw herself into things." She didn't tighten her hold, but the sadness sank in a little, "Even if she knew it could cost her everything. There was a knight she use to talk about, that would bail her out all the time." She looked away, "Just in the knick of time usually."

Still couldn't help but be amused, and it barely made it out as a laugh. Her frame shook lightly from the amusement. "It's not his face that gives him away." She replied, sounding fond. "But I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know." This time she did smile. "Oh, I've mastered this skill. He hates it...especially when it's used against him." She fell silent as Nadia answered, watching the woman's face. Her eyes, her brows, sometimes her lips. Looking for any sign that might say she was possibly being untrue or secretive. Still's lips turned up briefly before falling, and she lead Nadia in slow easy circles in front of the fountain. She lined up the information with what she had gathered so far, and found that it fit. Too well. Things were...lining up. Sure, Nadia could be lying to her, but she honestly had nothing to gain from doing so, not when she knew that a lie would destroy whatever this tentative connection was. "So..." Still started softly, and she let go of Nadia's hand to reach and cup the woman's face, turning her's back to face the corrupt. Her hand fell to also rest on Nadia's waist. "If I said that Olga was lured to the stables on Christmas Eve by a...friend...then ambushed by some agents...and outed herself as a senshi because she thought it would protect that friend..." It was...weird. She felt detached as she spoke, like it really had happened to someone else. Someone who was in no way connected. In a weird in between of believing but not believing. "Would you believe that to be true?"

The woman smiled back. "Sergei has more tells then he'd like to admit. It's the same for you." She reached up and poked the other's cheek. It felt weird to be just casually dancing with the corrupt in the park, but here they were.
It felt oddly calming in it's own sense. Something that connected her with this new...no she shouldn't say version, but this new personality of her former best friend.
"I bet he does." She snorted a bit through her nose, "If Sergei hates anything, it's one upping him, at his own game." The silence almost stifled the fun mood and she could see Still working through thoughts, emotions.....things.
Her face was turned up and she stared into the black abyss of her former friends eyes. The black like a pool that wanted to draw her in and leave her there. The statements that followed were even heavier and Nadia didn't bother to hide the horror of what that night was to Still. What the realization could cause Still now.
She tried to formulate the thoughts, but the only answer that came out was a even sadder, even more heartbroken response that she could muster.
"For a friend, Olga would've have given up her senshihood and life for them..." and that's exactly what happened, wasn't it? Nadia's hands stilled, "If that is what happened....It would explain memory loss too." She couldn't help the small tear of frustration that fell. Olga, you fool. And whoever that 'friend' was, was much worst. To take what Olga was and make it disappear and twist it so that they got what they wanted.
She closed her eyes.
"What will you do now?"

Still wished she wasn't watching Nadia's face now, but she couldn't look away. That look, that feel, it was too genuine, and it eat up a lot of distance she was trying to keep between herself and then...no, she couldn't call it the truth. It wasn't anything remotely close until she spoke to the Machine. It ate up too much distance between her acknowledgement and inkling. Still's face didn't change, and the tone of her voice didn't either. "Why does it explain memory loss?" Once again, answering a question with a question, but she couldn't answer that question right now anyways.

She sighed.
"Memory loss is triggered when you are violently or taken against your will." She looked back up at Still.
"Its a way to defend and justify corruption. If you aren't killed, and corrupted against your will, the memories disappear so you don't hate the negaverse and can become their loyal subject."
She stilled.
"If they found out.....about you.....You could be in more trouble then before...." Nadia gripped the senshi. "Just forget Still. Just forget it all. I know I wouldn't say this before, but....for your life, for your safety...." She took the woman's face in her own. "Don't let them know you question anything about them."

Oh no. It just made too much sense. Despite these heavy hits, she still did not feel...much. Numb still, yes, but even closer to an acknowledgement. She could not stay in ignorance any longer, not when...she was checking what she was learning against other tid bits she had picked up during her time in the Negaverse. She also did not dwell on it. She shelved it. It wouldn't make do to act on anything, much less think, until she spoke to Machine. The sudden grip Nadia had on her pulled her out of her thoughts and she focused back on the woman. She looked into her face, her eyes. Could see the sincerity and concern, and knew, deep down, that Machine genuinely cared about her as well. That had never been a lie. There was a look on Machine's face when they had their first serious conversation. A genuine fear of loss. Still's hands came up to cover Nadia's tanned fingers. She didn't pull them away, but just held onto them. "I can't." She replied simply. "I won't. It's forgetting everything that...put me where I am now...and I will not lie." She pressed her fingers against Nadia's. "But...one thing that most definitely sets me apart from Olga, Nadia, is that how I go about it is smarter." The reply was confident and sure. A fact. "Don't worry about me. I'll figure it out."

Despite what Still assured her off, Nadia's heart raced from the terror that Negaverse would find the woman again.
If they found Still, and killed her or worst, wiped her again.....But the calmness of Still's face and body made her take a deep breath.
"I can give you my number. If worst comes to worst, at least I can protect you....somehow. If they try. At least this time I can."
She tilted her head.
"Don't get yourself killed."

"...I have a number you can reach me at as well." Looks like that phone she got for her business with Dallas would be put to further use. The corners of her eyes creased a bit with amusement. Not that she doubted the woman's words...just...the Negaverse could reach out with ease. They could move faster than she could even pick up a phone. Still also couldn't help but wonder how quickly some conversations and the facts adding up could start to change her outlook. How she now had to watch out. Still smiled softly. "Dying is the least of my concerns." It was to lose her memories again, that was far worse.
