Thanos looked down as Ezra leaned against him, pensive for a moment. He mused the boy’s head for a little while more as the movie began, drinking his beer with his other hand. Ezra was a warm presence against his side, and it started to lull Thanos to sleep.

“Definitely. I could use a buddy to chill and play games with and just… be around. Ya know?” He was starting to babble a little. “Haven’t had someone like that in… a long time.” Man the cheap beer was getting to him already, what was this? Too many nights patrolling as his other self? Adrenaline crash from Ezra barging in like he was on fire?

“...Really… like you, Ez.” His head gently dropped onto Ezra’s as he fell asleep.

“Agreed.” Ezra murmured, taking a long drink from his own beer. When they were younger, Ezra and his brother use to hang out often. And it was true he had Judas and his stream followers, but it wasn’t the same. He laughed lightly. “A good looking guy like you, with no one to just chill with? I find that hard to believe.” Thanos was solid against his side, something to anchor on, despite the adrenaline crashing in his system.

He snorted lightly as Thanos began to fade. “Really like you too, T.” Ezra chuckled, giving Thanos a gentle shove as he tried to prompt the man into laying down on the couch instead of just flopping over. With little success, Ezra rolled his eyes playfully with a sigh before he turned his head to press a kiss against Thanos’ cheek. “From the Damsel in Distress to the Brave Knight.” He murmured softly. “My hero.”

The feel of his mouth against his cheek brought Thanos to a bit of consciousness. Enough to where his cheeks flushed. He… had not expected that, not from Ezra. He hadn't even been aware that Ez swung that way. Thanos definitely did but…

Then he was too tired to care. Thanos yawned and flopped over onto his side, one arm curling around Ez to drag him down with him. He buried his face into his neck, breathing deeply, and lulled back to sleep.
