As tempting as it was to shake the guy off when he lightly shackled her wrist with his fingers, they both knew that his hold was nothing more than a loose touch and something easily removed, but he was cute and a captain and was useful. So rather then give into her baser urge to yank her arm away she smirked and faced him, a quip about how would he know or some such nonsense died on her lips. Her brain connected the dots and came up with one answer, a answer that was rather out there. Axton.
Actually it made perfect sense… it would explain why his number never connected. The new look had to have been because he had been ‘playing for the other team’ as it were. The way she understood it, when a knight finally understood that what they were doing was the right thing, although she didn’t really care since she was in it for the power, they had to go through this whole thing that basically boiled down to scrubbing their civilian lives. Not that she was going to make this easy for him. That just wouldn’t be who she was, not at all. “You will have to be more specific,” She grinned and shifted slightly, her free hand on her waist. Her eyes practically sparkled with amusement. “I’ve been to alot of college bars and have even more little black dresses. Remind me,” She basically dared him to make a move.
Maybe she wouldn’t need a drink after all.
