The door beeps under the white key card as General Leucite inserts it. There is an audible click, and a second later, the handle gives way, allowing for it to pushed open. The hallway beyond is dark and dreary, only a few flickering florescent lights wavering in and out, giving a terrible impression of a less-than-friendly place.

Leucite can see movement at the end of the hall...

The copper key opens a supply closet; as the door swings back, a clatter of brooms and mops come tumbling out, and as they cascade onto Erytheia, he catches a glimpse of something black that seems to whip away and disappear around the corner.

Drained. Amphitrite gave a long sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose briefly between her fingers. It was a little aggravating to see that communication still suffered so many breakdowns in Destiny City. They should be supporting each other, not attacking each other. "And things like this are exactly why the order still has a stronghold in this damn city, " she remarked with maybe a touch of bitterness.

No matter. That was why she was back now, right?

Then, she winced, kind of smiling in a way that was more apologetic than sultry for a change. "Sorry handsome. Talk about not wanting another hospital visit tonight... I'll try and keep the bone crushing to a minimum." She winked, but hadn't completely shaken the nerves - and to see Leucite look at her, even regard her so casually, somehow made her stomach flip in an unpleasant way. Out of solidarity, she returned the gesture; she was stronger than their past anyway.

It didn't make her any less eager to leave. "I think maybe this one?" she remarked, tugging him along towards one of the doors. It did look promising.

What he would have given for a 5-hour-energy right about now. This night had started out so promising and gone down hill so damn fast his head was still reeling. Even with the hour plus wait in the waiting room before everything had gone to hell in a hand basket.

Amphitrite's anger was not only understandable, but Niss considered it completely warranted. He hadn't been an agent very long but this whole thing wreaked of abysmal planning and worse communication. Wasn't there a roster of officers' civilian names somewhere? How hard would it have been to feed it into the system here for easy cross checking? He wasn't exactly a computer wiz, but he suspected it wouldn't have been that hard.

He returned her smile when she apologized, squeezing her hand back not just to reassure her that it still worked, but to get the feeling back in his fingers. "S'alright, babe." Stepping in closer he brushed a kiss along her temple, eyes flicking back to the other general again before heading down the hall to look for the lock they needed.

Amphi was the one to find it. "Cross your fingers." For what, he wasn't sure. Their goal was to get out of there, but somehow he suspected this would lead them in deeper. However maybe they'd run into whoever was running this s**t show and he'd get to watch the corrupt tear them a new one. It'd but a cherry on this long, chaotic evening.

Lips pressed in a thin line, he put the key in the lock and turned it.

Sadie Avamir > Pendour

In the chaos that followed, the knocked out nurses and the keys and more running but not any more light, Sadie began to see people powered, no maybes to it. They were to bright to be anything else, and she thought she saw a weapon although that was not a for sure thing.

Either way, the fear still bubbled in her, sending numbness down her throat and to her fingertips. Even as a civilian, she was a target. As Pendour, she could see things more clearly, with the auras and not just her increasingly useless eyes.

She found the darkest shadow that she could and she transformed. Her bandages vanished, and her oozing eye socket was immediately painfully out in the open, but at least she felt a bit stronger and could feel things. The auras were immediate. They gave her some sense of where to go, and so she tried to walk in the general direction until she saw people again, or really shadows of them, cooped up again in some long hall. She looked around as best she could. At least there seemed to be keys.

The door swings open after Nissonite's key.

There are two slumped civilians on the floor, backs against the dark wall; they look unconscious, rather than dead, and are pale faced and unresponsive. One is a light haired young woman with streaks of rainbow cris-crossing through the locks, and the other is a dark haired man with his hair just starting to gray over the temples.

Vanadinite can hear something shuffling down the hall....

Leucite had seen an officer with Amphitrite, and his brows raised a bit as the officer leaned in toward Amphitrite and...

The door clicked, and he turned his attention to it, pushing it open with his palm - missing the affection Nissonite gave the corrupt senshi, as the flashing emergency lights made it difficult to see more than just the bare basics of things at the distance they were - and his attention was draw elsewhere by the clicking door.

Still, he would have to file the officer's appearance away for later. He harbored no real ill will toward Amphitrite - no more than just the fact that she was a corrupt, and they were difficult to trust on a good day. But she had so far given him no real reasons to suspect her of anything untoward - and as far as he was concerned that was good enough for now.

"On your guard," He said to Stibnite and Reinerite, summoning his weapon as he stepped into the hallway. "It could be another officer - or worse."

He debated calling Iudcael to his side - but given how confined the hospital was, it would just muddy the waters if any youma happened to appear.

"Any officer of the Negaverse that's in this hallway, stand down and I will not kick in your teeth as a matter of disciplinary action for attacking a fellow officer for no good god damn reason," Lecuite called down the hallway as he entered it, spear at the ready to parry in defense if need be."Any youma about, best stand down as well - or I will dust you and return you from whence you came!"

Couldn't hurt to try diplomacy sometimes...

Zachariah Faulkner

When Zachariah made it into the next hallway, he immediately noticed the fact that there were several people crowded around several doors. Did that have something to do with the key he received?

There was a part of him that was tempted to see what happened when the other people opened the door, first. The last thing he wanted was to open up a door and immediately end up murdered, considering that would be the perfect end to a perfectly frustrating evening. It seemed that most people going to the doors were relatively unharmed, though, so perhaps opening the door could not hurt him. Perhaps it would lead to a ******** escape out of this goddamn madhouse of a hospital.

That became especially urgent as he heard the murmurs of a Negaverse general nearby. He needed to find some place to transform into Sailor Hydor. As Zachariah Faulkner, he was clearly unsafe. Was he safe to transform in front of Rhys and Hitch, though? He did not know their affiliations, if any; the last thing he needed was to be scolded by a certain guardian cat for revealing his identity frivolously.

He moved ahead of Rhys and Hitch for just a moment, fishing the silver key out of his pocket and jamming it into the appropriate door.

dealing with the door

The door was open! Finally they could get the ******** out...and into a hall with red flashing lights and sounds...and lots of people. This wasn't what Liam wanted to deal with, not at all, was this going to never end? He really did need to get back to the orphanage before anyone noticed he was missing, especially the other adults. The kids weren't likely to say anything, they rather liked him especially since he was one of them, but the adults. The adults might like him, they'd raised him since he was born just about, but that didn't mean they wouldn't still discipline him...adult or not.

Slipping into some shadows, where the lights didn't reach, he was able to power up. The help that gave him was immense, it also made him feel better, was he was able to pick out signatures and that's why he followed after two generals. They were strong and hopefully would get them out of here, he just hoped they wouldn't have an issue with him. He wouldn't be much help, at least not magically speaking, he was he supposed physically capable of helping out.

Hearing the shouting, from what he assumed was one of the two generals, he felt himself smiling a bit. "They didn't tell you...that's not right." It wasn't. How could they be a team when they did things like this and din't tell all their own ahead of time, so it could be avoided. He had a feeling no one in the dark mirror would do something like this and fail to tell everyone; and he didn't know his own court all that well.

She had managed, like Arian, to slip away and power up. She didn't like not being powered up in a situation like this. She was hurt, yes, but she was safer this way. She couldn't do much physically but she had magic and right now that would be a big help. Walking at Athene's side she nodded her head slowly. "We should pick someone to follow....we need to get out of here and keep people safe." She whispered, hoping no one would take too much notice of them.

"Same here...and something else...dark but not the same." She didn't know what but she knew she sensed it. It was weak like her own aura though, which was a good thing. "I don't think we'll get out any other way....but I don't like this. We should find a proper hospital after this...or a home with a first aid kit." Like her families apartment. Her cousins had a good sized first aid kit due to these sorts of things, also their apartment she thought might be closer this time.

"Lets keep close...please.'

Desdemona Jacobs - Still as Civi... for now >.<'

Dessie followed after Alphonse as he made his way into a hallway. Apparently here there were emergency lights, the red flashing lights causing the blonde to look away for a few moments as her eyes adjusted to the new situation. Honestly she almost prefered the dimness of the previous room or of the waiting room, the flashing light was harder on the eyes and it hid too many things in its irregular light. The random wailing didn't help with the overall creepy vibes either. "Stick close," She muttered to her two only to look around rather shocked when she couldn't find the younger kid, Alphonse.

Stifling a curse she called out for him, adding a call for Ian just in case he too had been funneled into this wonky hallway. "Alphonse! Ian! For ******** sake whats the point of sticking together if you wander off?" The distant glimpses of dark uniforms had her grit her teeth. Of course this was a negaverse plan. Why else would the whole s**t show be happening. Lighter colors showed that their were at least order fighters here too, the urge to power up had her slipping a hand into her sweater pocket and fingering the henshi pen. Only the knowledge that she promised she wouldn't let anything happen to Toren kept her as a civilian. Could one of the powered be Alphonse? It would explain where he went... it was all she could hope for right now at least. The other option wasn't that good.

"Bloody neg-" She cut herself off and glanced at Toren, "Chaos. All this chaos is insane. Stick close ok?" Dessie wasn't stupid, it was possible the male at her side was a negaverser but right now, even with her cut up from her earlier scuffle, she was relatively sure she could take him if the need arose. Now if she could only find Ian. "I need to get that boy a freaking tracker or something," she muttered to herself as she inched cautiously into the hall, blue eyes trying to track all the negaversers flitting around in the strobing lights.

Rhys Autenberry Hitchcock --> Squire Emrys of Neptune

He had powered up without thinking, without even pausing to consider the ramifications of what he was doing. As soon as the three of them were out the door and away from the others, away from the prying eyes of the civilians in the room, the energy breathed over Rhys, bright blue and turquoise replacing the black of his shirt, the gray of his ripped and torn jeans.

He would protect his husband. That was what was important here.

Emrys turned his head to glance over at Hitch and Zachariah, his green eyes blazing with a sort of uncharacteristic, unfamiliar edge to them, though his heart was beating wildly in his chest, and he couldn't stop his fingers from trembling. He wanted this to be over. He didn't want to have his husband here, still bloody eyed and still in need of help.

He sucked in a sharp breath, tried to calm himself, and watched as Zachariah slid the key into the lock.

There is silence for a moment and then -

- laughter.

Maniacal, high, wild laughter, coming from somewhere down the end of the hallway.

The silver key opens onto another long, dark hallway - and two more civilians, close-eyed and apparently either sleeping or unconscious, their chests rising and falling slowly.
