His voice grew a bit lower, his eyes a little softer. More interest flickered behind them, feeling rather intrigued with this mortal. He didn't know much about her, but he knew that she offered respect to him. On the flip side of that same coin, she clearly knew what she wanted and was going after it like she was ready to strike her prey.
It was more than intriguing. It set his fire aflame.
"You are perfect. More than perfect, if you were looking for your own compliments," he purred.

The change in the mood was quick and unmistakable. Adanna normally took only the most calculated of risks but this wasn't something she could have planned, not this perfectly. How strange it was that the world was off balance and yet such a grand opportunity had presented itself in the darkness here. It was too much to be coincidence, his fur was even red. She didn't even have to think about if she valued strength or the Firekin more, he was exactly what she would have wanted.
She smiled at him as he purred at her, finally stepping closer to him. It was a pity it was so dark. He was enormous and imposing even in shadow, she could only imagine how truly impressive he must be.
No matter. If her luck held, she'd see it much later.
Fin.
