Siennacontinued to drink as a boy entered the clearing at a full sprint and started bowing in apology. She simply cocked a brow as he slammed his head against ont of the platforms and started going nuts. Two older student showed up, including Auburn, who, Sienna remembered, took down a Stalker on her initiation. She'd only recently learned of her past, which made the feat even more impressive as the girl really should have been in a hospital at that time. Kikyo...well, her abilities weren't quite on the Scale of Auburn's, but, she was plenty capable in her own right...when not puling pranks that is. When Ash leaned it, Sienna pecked her on the lips.
”If they turn out like that boy, you're taking over...or if they act like Kikyo. I won't have the energy to deal with it.”Finally, another boy joined them as well as the remaining four of this group. Sienna remained sitting, but spoke for them to hear."Alright everyone, listen up. With the exception of Ms Sterling, everyone will be launched from the launch pads. Part of your task is making your lading in style and safely. Ms Sterling is only exempt as she is blind. Another rule is you will be teamed in pairs with the first person you make eye contact with after landing. Again, Ms Sterling is exempt from this due to her blindness. Ms Rennoll is also exempt as she has been assigned to be Ms Sterling's partner. Auburn will launch with you and will be first responder in the event of an emergency, but, she is not a valid partner. If you attempt to partner with her, she will leave you and you will forfeit test score. Now, positions. And Ms Rennoll, you are not carrying anyone like that. We don't know the exact properties of your semblance. For all we know, it's a vacuum with no breathable air. Besides...it would be unsettling to see and I'm still nauseated from morning sickness."

Coal was able to straighten himself up when one of the teachers talked to him about calming himself, he was glad that she will answer his questions but asked him to introduce himself if he didn't. His eye's went big with shock when he realized he didn't introduce himself, "Oh, your right! My name is Coal Leoheart, I hope we all get along swell in the coming years." He smiled when he introduced himself, especially when he saw another girl that showed up who is very nervous. He can't blame her, especially if he figured out the use of that plate that he hit his head on earlier, it will send him and others into the forest for a test and one he wants to survive more then just pass.
However, when Coal saw another female come, he noticed two things so far. One, most students so far are girls which is a little bit nerve racking due to a higher chance of misunderstanding and being called a pervert. Second, how can he work on any of his future experiments if they are going to force him to clean it up like his mom did when he makes a mess in his room every day. But as the girl named Auburn gave her warning about the two teachers, he began to go pale knowing full well that these two will hurt you if you make them mad. 'What kind of place did I get myself into?!', he thought to himself with a worried look on his face. He is grateful if there are too strong of grimm to fight, they can help but knowing that worries him more. What made Coal less nervous of the situation is that a guy showed up that he assumes is a new student, checking his weapons. It filled his heart with joy that someone is thorough with their maintenance and checking over their equipment.
The reason he hasn't check his over is that he did so the night before. Ammo in the bag and all in their clips as well as the gun portion polished and cleaned with the blade sharpened to a point. Coal figured it was needed, but he stayed up too late when he found something was wrong in his weapon, which happens from time to time which caused him to oversleep and made him late. But it was no excuse, especially the idea of someone using their semblance to carry another person in their mouth. He can understand its uses, but if had to be in there, he is carrying breath mints just in case. He felt bad for the student involved with the idea, but at least it was the thought that counted.
Then the other teacher started to talk, she was very serious, to the point and cranky, but it made sense if you were pregnant. She went into details about what we had to do in initiation by doing a safe landing strategy and eye contact partners. Coal got excited to meet who he will partner with that a hair in front of his face went up on its own as he smiled on the plate that he also hit his head on in the first place. But then he realized something, 'What is our objective once we make our partners?' So he went to raise his hand to see if he can ask, but if it gets answered then he will lower it.

When the large figure hit the ground Ash rolled her eyes. It had to be Yamashita, she was the only returning student obsessed with the previous years of pranks by the older students. One of the few who thought it a funny addition to the initiation process. The hood of the cloak fell off to reveal Kikyo Yamashita as Auburn pulled at the scruff of her neck. Auburn pulled the mischievous second year over and threatened to launch her into the forest. "Right, now that that's taken care of... Good of you two to join us today, we might be needing some extra hands in the forest," Ash said, pointedly ignoring the further plights of Astra Rennoll.
A fourth person arrived at the scene and started prepping his weapons, and while her face remained stoic, Ash was relieved that there was at least one other first year who seemed capable of being serious, despite his tardiness. Sienna remained seated while she explained the tasks at hand; the launch, the formation of partners, and Ariana's exemption from the launch. Ash stepped forward to finish up the explanation of their task.
"After you have found your partner, you will work together to bring back a relic from the centre of the forest. This is a long-standing tradition here at Beacon Academy and all the more important after the events that transpired here fifteen years ago," Ash informed the group, "As my wife mentioned, Auburn was slated from the start to launch into the forest alongside you, but now she will not be alone. Kikyo, you came here hoping to 'help' with initiation, though not in any official manner, and help with initiation you will. These girls will both be joining you in the forest, but will only help you should the need be dire. Now, step onto your own launch pads and prepare your landing strategies. Ms. Sterling, if you would come this way, we'll get you started before the others take flight."
Ash placed her hand on the girl's shoulder and helped her onto the lift, "You may start heading further into the forest as soon as you reach the ground, the lift will automatically unlatch the gate and will play a tune when you have reached the bottom. Good luck." She latched the cliffside gate and punched in the code to start the lift before turning back to the larger group. "Good luck to you all," was all she said before launching the students, one-by-one, into the forest. She leaned against the tree her wife was sitting under and said with a smirk, "How long until one of them starts screaming?" There would be a screamer, there always was.

Kikyo scowled as her teammate ruined her fun and dragged her towards the group. "Spoil sport..." she grumbled after being threatened by a launch into the forest. She stood up and faced the group of first years, most of them didn't really stand out but she knew better than to judge them by appearances. Enough of them had gathered soon after her spoiled prank and the professors explained what was going to happen to them all. Kikyo smiled fondly at the memory of being blasted into the air. When Professor Llwyd said that she would be launched into the forest to respond to emergency situations with Auburn, Kikyo nodded and her facial expression became very serious. Of course she wanted her underclassmen to think of her as an approachable senior but she also needed to show them that there was a time and place for silliness. She knew that just before being launched into a forest full of dangerous creatures was an alright time to do ridiculous stuff to get nerves to go away, but the moment they stepped onto their launch pads they needed to be serious.
"Understood," she said as she unhooked her tonfas. Kikyo stepped back onto a plate and lowered her stance. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths while she focused on trying to improve her landing strategy from the previous year. It seemed like an eternity had passed before she felt the movement of the plate under her feet. Suddenly she was in the air, adrenaline rushing. She streamlined her body until she reached what she thought to be a good place to set up watch.
Kikyo crossed her tonfas in front of her head to protect herself from the initial impact of the topmost branches before ejecting the blades and swinging down to the lower branches. She swung her body around a thick branch and pulled herself up. She was still a good 20 feet from the ground but she could see through the trees pretty well at this part of the forest. She sat down on the branch and listened to the other students fly overhead.
As Noire waits he listens to the others talking. although they were saying strange things and threatening to launch another individual before they started. He couldn't help but to be interested in the others, "So these are the fellow first years i will be with. At least there more entertaining then those from the combat school in atlas." Noire thought to himself as he over hears the teachers a few moments later. He listens intently to what the teachers were saying about how the initiation works.
They also explain how they will team up with whom ever they meet on there way to the center of the forest and the fact they have to devise there own landing strategy. "Hmm so we have to devise our own landing strategy, That shouldn't be a problem." He thinks to himself as he observers the reactions of the others. "Huh?" He notices one of the other girls already preparing herself as if she did it before. " Hmm i wonder if that girl is an upperclassman here to help us or something else?" Noire ponders this as he walks over to the launch pad.
He kneels down and puts his hand on both of his legs as if he is preparing or check for something. "Alright this should do it lets do this!" He smiles as he is flung into the air. Noire calmly analyzes his surroundings and where his landing point will be. He notices he is going to hit some tree branches soon. Preparing for the next step he braces going through the branches. As soon as his sight was clear he starts hoping from tree to tree. Until he lands and rolls. Noire would cautiously look around as he stands up dusting himself off while pulling out his hand gun. hmm it looks clear, Might as well keep moving further into the forest." he says to himself as he starts to walk with his handgun still drawn.

Astra would look back. There had to be air in there, food would rot in there if she wasn't careful of when to take it out. Couldn't things only rot if there was air. The teacher then mentioned that she was feeling sick. It was a portal that opened up when she reached towards her mouth. She would then reach into her mouth, opening up the portal. She would then reach inside of the room, to others, it looked like she was fishing something out of her mouth. Then, she would reach her other hand in her mouth, and using both hands, she would pull out a complete Doll house, with dolls. It was set up and really nice and pink. As it came out of her mouth, it would start off small, but then it would grow into a proper sized doll house. If fact, even though it came out of her mouth, it was completely dry.
She then would open her mouth again, and eat the Doll house. As it entered her mouth, it would shrink. She would then stand on the platform, ready to be launched. She was probably gona need something from her mouth, but she already probably made the sick teacher sicker. Oh well. "It would have been better to go in my mouth!" She would exclaim.

Coal listened to the other teacher who explained the other part of the mission they had to do. "So, a gathering mission with us learning about or partners. That doesn't sound bad at all." He got cheerful, knowing full well that despite the pressure of the grimm and death can bring people together as one, especially those that dislike one another. He just feels bad to whoever has him as the partner due to his semblance only works on the grimm and can only blind his enemies.
When the teachers started to launch the students, Coal went into his usual stance to brace for the force that will come from the panel. When it came, he was already prepared and stabled himself as the wind whistled in his ears as he flew in the air. "I must be going around 60-80 miles per hour, but it would make sense to test our landing strategy and out capability to think fast." After a few moments when he thought this, he was getting closers to the trees so he pulled out his blade and began to slow his decent by using the thick branches that were in his way with the sword in front of him then finished his decent by stabbing the tree and then going around it in a circular form all the way to the ground to his feet safely. Coal patted the tree as he removes his sword from it, "Thanks my friend, hope you keep making oxygen for us all."
Sadly, the tree toppled over with it opening up making log like spirals. Coal winced hoping nothing heard that but it didn't turn out that way as a few beowulves appeared, ready to take his life. But unfortunately for them, he saw it coming and ran for the first one and cut it down where the spine was at its weakest by stabbing it next to the bone going inward that would be going into its skull which killed it instantly. The second one didn't like that and acted by trying to take a swipe at his chest while standing on it's fallen. However, it missed as Coal went and jumped over the creature and did one clean swipe down its right side to kill it. He wanted to make sure it was dead so he stabbed it in the eye then began to walk away from the scene, now thinking on where to start his search for his partner for his time in school and maybe figure out other uses for his semblance other then blind people.
