The blow was enough to knock the breath out of her and cause her to stagger back a few steps, but somehow Ashley managed to keep hold of the fire extinguisher–
Although when she had recovered enough to step closer to where the psycho had been blocking the door, it was clear that the extinguisher was perhaps not needed.
Ashley considered - for a very long moment, hitting the man anyway, but then eventually (if a little reluctantly) set the the extinguisher down as she walked over towards the doorway - and the psycho - grey eyes looking coolly at the man as she kicked him.
It was perhaps petty, no it was definitely petty as the annoyed man by the doorway (Mathias) looked like he had hit the psycho pretty solidly already.
Ashley didn't care - she'd needed a way to express her annoyance at the 'so-called nurse' in a way that wasn't going to end up with her being arrested - which the extinguisher, if she had hit the man with it, may have led to.
She looked over at the blond-haired man (Liam), as she puzzled over what the psycho had mean by the words 'my genera' and hoping that they didn't mean what she thought they meant before shaking her head and asking the blond "Are you okay?" Because the other had looked quite sick and Ashley was pretty sure that the psycho 'not nurse' hadn't helped.
