Story/Explanation (Completely Optional): The cecaelia known as Ametrine formerly lived in Aquarian waters, but after offending one too many of the locals, she fled up into the rivers of the Cascadians. She now lives in a flooded ruin, scavenging them for valuables to trade. Anything for another shiny trinket to wear. Just be cautious if you refuse to trade her for something she wants. She's been known to hunt mer and two-leggers alike.

Story/Explanation (Completely Optional): Having dispatched the sharks and other nasty fish guarding the shipwreck's treasure, Ametrine now ponders her dilemma: Butcher the meat from the guardians, or simply take the gold?

Story/Explanation (Completely Optional): As her eight tentacles allow her to traverse on land on a regular basis (albeit slowly), Ametrine doesn't see all that much difference in having legs for a day. She does, however, take the opportunity to carry more of her goods into an inland market, as the two-leggers seem more inclined to trade with her in this form. The clothing is a hassle, though. She prefers her usual outfits, which consist mostly of jewelry.

Thanks for christening the new thread with entries, Fractal! And I also see the resemblance with the sea witches. The staffs are similar, suggesting you do similar work? Orrr use the same staff guy?
