Transcended Eternal Corvus

One by one they arrived as moths drawn to the flame. One by one they wandered closer, some speaking and others... How many of the faces here were familiar? How many had she or Arsinoe, or even Zinkenite, crossed paths with before?

The Senshi of Vengeance bristled as the first General on the scene (Benitoite) spoke, snatching her wrist from her cousin's grasp this time. "You weren't invited because it was intended to be a party of two, then my chaperone arrived and I'm afraid the rest of you are just party crashers." The final words were spoken with a rather pointed glare in Cavansite's direction.

The rest of the faces of Chaos were nameless. She had no quarrel with them this evening, but she could not say the same for either of the men by her side-- Arsinoe had made his point clear, and in drawing on the power of his Royal Crystal to tap into his princely laurels Castor had drawn a line in the sand.

Four Generals now hovered about, some closer than others... A captain, a cat. Corvus felt anxiety well up in the pit of her stomach where she should have felt reassurance at the presence of Order slowly trickling in. None of them had been called specifically, and yet... We're not prepared to deal with this.

Could they win if a fight was what this came down to?

"I wish you would learn to trust me, Arsinoe," she spoke quietly before raising her voice, addressing the question she'd overheard. What's going on? Why isn't anyone fighting?, "I did not come here to fight this evening. I will, if that's what this parley is to come to, but that is not why I stand here." She stood tall, conducting herself with confidence as she projected her words, momentarily ignoring the squabble that would no doubt happen later between she and Arsinoe in favor of addressing the General King himself once more.

"They ask for your orders. They wait for your command. What say you, Zinkenite?"

General King Zinkenite

“Well, it is hard for me to do a simple conversation I admit.” Zinkenite said, glancing at those whom had gathered.

He stood ramrod strait though, considering the situation, a brief glance to the other officers whom had been drawn here by the power collected here.
The fact one of the officers had a tail, and ears. That was interesting.

“It’s been a while since we were this close, eh Castor? What was it last… when I stood before our men at the Surrounding? Or was it more recent than that.”

He tapped a finger to his chin, thoughtful, putting the metal hand on display. He rather wondered with the ‘Prince’ would say about it.

“Since we have so many… friendly faces crashing the party, and the prince is just so worried about you. Maybe he’ll set the mood.” He murmured. “I am not the most fond of fighting, but if you insist on bringing it to my doorstep, oh would be blackbird… then, well.”

Transcended Knight Celsus of Chronos + Squire Emrys of Neptune + Wendell

Something long, sleek, and brown came zigzagging through the feet of those gathered, darting back and forth until it finally came to a skidding stop just a few feet from the General-King. The cat's head peered up, unafraid, one eye covered in a red red and gold kerchief, the bangles jangling slightly as he looked curiously over the man, his companions, Corvus, and the rest of them.

Then, without a word, he went zipping back the way he had come, up a short ways, to a pair of redheaded men who were standing slightly off to the side. One of them, the taller of the two, stooped a little, and Wendell slithered up his arm, leaping to rest on his shoulders. The other clutched a staff, looking more than a little anxious, but with a strange sharpness to his eyes that was not generally seen there.

"A true scourge of the depths," said Wendell, sounding simultaneously excited and determined about the whole situation. "A pirate king, that's what I would call that one. Are you quite certain you would not let me ring for aid? Isn't that what Gondola did in that one movie we watched?"

"Gondor," Emrys whispered.

"There are a lot of us already," Celsus mused, eyes flickering through the scattered figures. He recognized some, though not all, and his gaze lingered on Corvus, her figure visible and familiar no matter what the situation. She stood by Arsinoe, if Celsus was remembering his powered name correctly. And of course Castor, whom Celsus did not like, something akin to annoyance fluttering briefly through his stomach.

A lot of Negaverse. Not as much Order. Celsus absently curled the whip in his hands, weaving the thick straps around his fingers and giving them an experimental tug that looked to be more out of habit than an actual gesture of intimidation. On his shoulder, Wendell leaned further out, trying to see.

"What's going on?" Emrys said. "Why isn't anyone moving?"

Celsus shook his head minutely; a silent I don't know.

General Benitoite

Glancing to his fellow Generals, as they both appeared, he nodded his head in greeting to them. "A nice night to see you both." Came the easy, softly, spoken words from the ashen blond. A gloved hand moving from his coat pocket and making a general sweeping gesture to the senshi and knights gathered. "It seems we're all here for a nice talk...and nothing to drink." Looking to Zinkenite he tilted his head a bit. "Should I call for tea perhaps?" He questioned, offered, to the other. This wasn't a fight...it was something else. Something else which had grown bigger as it had attracted many people...including a royal senshi - how nice.

Glancing right over Castor, trying his best to ignore the strong order of the senshi, he focused his attention on Corvus and flashed a light smile. "Ahh, I would apologize for interrupting but if not me than others would come - and did in fact. It's hard to miss such a signature." Another look to Zinkenite, it was impossible to miss his aura. It was a dark chaotic aura...so strong and like a beacon. For one like Benitoite he found comfort in signatures similar to his own...other chaotic auras.

Rolling his shoulders, his hands tucked deeply into his pockets, the General really didn't care if the senshi liked him being here or not. If his General King wanted him to leave - he would. If Zinkenite called for them to draw their weapons - he would. He would let the General King set the mood...for now he was comfortable standing there, seeming smaller than he normally was. He was small, smaller now than usual, but his aura was enough that it should tell anyone looking at him that he wasn't one to be overlooked.

"For now I do believe if you all want to converse...and socialize...than do so...we can do the same...I'm sure." He added gently, gave again on the darkly dressed transcended senshi.

Corrupted Kitty Katya

Moving amongst the crowd, enjoying the presence of so many on her side, the Russian blue was happy to purr up at people as she rubbed against legs and seeking attention. She wasn't dense, or stupid, she could hear what was going on and sense what was going on around her. It was tense. She was just hoping to bring things down a bit...since it didn't seem this was a time for a fight, or a battle as the case would be if those here got to fighting.

"Something warm to drink would be nice." Not just for herself but also for her General and the others here, it would serve several purposes. Maybe if someone called on another to bring tea, and coffee, espresso as well...since she knew her General would drink neither tea nor coffee.

Prince Castor

The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. He bristled at Zink, eyes trained on him alone.
"Oh come off it with the pissing match. Right now, you've got more man power- but that doesn't matter much if we decide that things are going to get out of hand."

He remained fixed, the only indication that he was not going to attack the lack of cold that surrounded him, and the lack of frost on the ground around his feet.
"I'm here only as an observer tonight. Corvus can handle herself against you- but you plus company is a mighty bit unfair. So, I figured I'd step in, remind you that I'm more than happy to kill anyone who would interfere with whatever the two of you have going on." Finally, he grinned, looking to the eternal.
"I personally hope she's seducing you to the cause. It would be poetically ironic. BUT-" He shrugged.

"I'm here to act as a sort of... observant insurance for a nice cordial chit-chat. Our personal business Zink, is our own." The grin took a nasty turn. "And while you're no Tanz, it's been a long time since I've had a decent challenge. Another night perhaps."

His wings fanned out suddenly before settling back behind him.
"So Corvus." He said. "You don't want a fight that's fine by me; just think of me as a pocket prince to pull in if you need to."

User Image Eternal Senshi Taranis of Sand had been a senshi for a very, very long time. At least by senshi standards. It was nearing nine years, seven since he had reached his eternal power. Since senshi years were like dog years and the life he had before that time had been similarly bad... Taranis looked a lot older than his nearing-30 years of life. He had once been active, incredibly so. Had helped with the initial creation of the senshi database. Had seen when senshi first learned how to travel to planets. Had evaded death more times than any person should. Had watched plenty others he cared about, and caring about people was hard, not survive. He had even killed, and even thought he killed General Linarite at last. Trouble was the people you wanted to stay dead in DC never seemed to stay dead. But the thing that had nearly killed him had been the person he loved most in the world tell him no when he asked the most important question he had ever asked. And he hadn't seen her since. Because life was bullshit, whether it was on this planet or any other, in this era or any other.

One by one, his friends disappeared. Taranis cut ties, but he never did leave Destiny City, though any who knew him must have assumed he did. He simply stopped participating. If he powered up, he didn't save anyone. He didn't pick fights. He spent more time on his planet than was probably healthy. And it was only by pure chance that he happened to power up at his apartment, ready to transport himself again back to his planet, that he had felt the Chaos aura of a General-King. It wasn't the first time, and it wouldn't be the last. Taranis didn't get involved, usually just ignored it. What was the point? Something bad was always happening in this godforsaken place. Something bad was always happening to Taranis.

Then another surge, this time a royal senshi. Who could say what made him decide to go see what it is? It wasn't caring. He had forgotten how and had never been good at it in the first place. No, it was a kind of apathetic curiosity. He didn't run, but it still didn't take long to arrive.

No one was fighting. Typical. The type to talk it out? It was all bullshit. If Taranis wasn't so broken now, perhaps he would have walked in and cursed them out, winged the first attack. Instead, he came to a lolling stop beside Prince Castor, a friend of his for years and one he hadn't seen in nearly as long. "Hey," he said flatly, staring at whatever odd, useless attempt at talking was about to play out.

There was no pomp or circumstance. He simply summoned a spinning ball of sand, his weakest attack, and kept it levitating gently in his hand. It wouldn't kill a General-King, but it could be enough to get him out of there, if he wanted to leave. The problem with being dead inside was it made yet another brush with death feel like just another Monday.

"It seems." Stibnite dared to speak up as she walked forward, her hands rising up slightly as a sign to everyone that she was not summoning a weapon. "That no one here as any intention of 'starting' something. Or at least giving the other side justification in attacking." The General's red eyes were scanning the field. More and more were appearing but her attention was on two of the White Moon in particular.

"Zinkenite." Her voice was level, calm and collected as she approached the side of the General King and stood level with him. They had only met once before but even then she refused to back down to him. "If a simple conversation was all that was intended here..." Her eyes quickly flickered to the black bird senshi (Corvus) that he had appeared to be addressing. "Then might I suggest we pull back for now. I dare say I would rather not take the rat with wing's baiting nor his friend's taunting." Eyes were flickering back now to the Prince and the male that had appeared beside him. Seeing the sand in hand, it made her glance over to the one General holding her weapon (Cavansite) with a clear look of 'don't you dare'. Stibnite had no intention of being dragged into a pissing match from two people who might be looking for it.

"I mean no disrespect but our numbers here would sooner listen to you than a simple General."

She gazed back at their members then back to the Negaverse. It wasn't running away when it was a tactical maneuver to keep either side from being able to go 'they started it' later. Tension was thick and with that, rage and stupidity could flare. Everyone could sense it, even those just joining.

"Or we can throw insults back and forth as I assume the two of you did not wish for such a conversation to be overheard by so many."

There was a swelling of pride in Leucite's chest as his wife addressed the group. She didn't speak often - but when she did it was usually a level headed assessment of the current situation, or a some detail missed by other eyes. He gave a small nod to her words, looking at the assembled group as a whole, both Negaverse and Order alike, and took a step forward, a bit closer to center of the two arrayed forces, hands visible so that everyone around would know he was unarmed - and intended to remain so.

"I concur with General Stibnite, sir," Leucite added with a small nod of his head. "If this is a true parley, intended in good faith, then we should all be able to walk away in peace."

He turned and raised a brow at the gathered members of order. "And I assume you all began this discussion in good faith, yes?"

"The only honorable thing to do is to have both side withdraw from the field," He said, turning his attention back to the General-King. "Regroup, and go about our collective business."

While a fight would certainly be interesting - he doubted it would serve much in the way of actual purpose for the expended effort, and that was just bad strategy. Best to withdraw, regroup, and let cooler heads prevail.

What the hell was going on.

This was the first time in Syrtis' career that he had seen so many agents of darkness and light congregated together. In one spot. At the same time. And nobody was hitting each other??????

"No wonder this war has been going on for eight years," he drawled at all of them, balling his large hand into a large fist, "there's so much power here and everyone's either bitching about how somebody forgot the tea or waiting for this guy," he pointed at Zinkenite, "to give orders. That's crazy."

Vulcan's gaze flicked the group gathered in front of her to Syrtis behind her. She said nothing, but the way her lips twitched suggested she might agree with him.

And Syrtis was growing more convinced by the second that earth needed more Mars knights. STAT. Lucky for everyone there he already was one.

Prince Castor

He intended to be imposing. Threatening. But then- then Taranis showed up. Taranis, who he considered a friend, but one who he'd really messed things up with. Taranis, the guy who'd just sort of... fell out of his circle back when. A guy that he hadn't reached out to, yet also never heard from.

Taranis just... showed up.
"Bro what the ********." Castor whispered to himself. Then-
"What the ******** TARANIS?" He didn't even hug him, just stared, completely in open shock at the man's appearance.

Kairatos

The convergence of power signatures had gone up his nerves like am electric mouse, impossible to ignore, difficult to shake off without powering down or getting some serious range but, then again.... really kind of hard to ignore -two- royals in one location. It just didn't happen much.

It was rare enough to warrant investigation, that blast of mixed powers that almost overshadowed the smaller signatures hidden in their fall out radius...

And when he got close enough to make out shapes and convince himself that he was not, in fact, mistaken and he DID know both of them, even the one he'd thought had maybe been permanently swallowed by the Rift or the like... he was just damn glad he'd brought his wife and occasional source of common sense with him.

".... Are you KIDDING??" He protested, as they approached, with a fast side eye toward Castor, who had left an impression on him early on that left the Knight of Mars never wanting his back to the senshi, even if they were supposed to be on the same side. Too much unpredictability on the scene, probably the most dangerous thing actually here, even over... oh great. Lecuite. Definitely more dangerous than Leucite. SuperStabby was at least tactical enough to know when to back up. Castor he'd seen make body piles.

"....Thats Zinkenite." He added, sidelong to the Cosmos knight beside him, Meteora. "...I told you about him."

His own fingers itched to curl into a fist, but he made an effort to prevent it. His own personal vendettas weren't enough to light this particular bomb if he could avoid it.

People were popping up like flies and Cavansite continued to stand, waiting for something. Anything.

She caught the looks of both Corvus and the other General, and while the one from Corvus made her eyes flash with a little anger, her face remained utterly impassive.

It was easy to ignore the look shot at her from the other General, there was no real authority there, not when there was a General King…albeit a seemingly indecisive General King standing there letting all of the white moon bastards build up more and more without doing anything.

They would have had the upper hand until very recently but…now it seemed that they were outnumbered and…even though their strongest seemed to be momentarily distracted with the arrival of yet another senshi…

The General King did nothing.

Cavansite continued to stare at Corvus, the only evidence of her displeasure and slight unhappiness with the goings on was her knuckles going white as she gripped her spear ever tighter.

When the Royal began to sputter like one of the musclebound fratboys at the sand bearing senshi’s arrival, Leucite had to bite back s bark of a laugh. It was good to see that even the royals cpuld be flustered - made them human, well, not nigh-invincible in his eyes. As much as he would of liked to do a bit of big game hunting, he was not loaded for bear, and they were on the back foot as it was. Discretion, valor, etc.

He heard someone in the dogpile of order that the arrayed Negaverse were all waiting for Zinkenite to give orders.

“It’s called discipline,” Leucite offered to the arrayed white moon mob. “Something your unorganized rabble could stand to learn.”

At the arrival of a familiar Mars knight he felt his body tense. Oh, they had some unfinished business, and Leucite would love to collect on, but again, now was neither time nor place. He did give the man a respectful nod. But no chalkenge was given as he waited for the General-King to give his command.

If Syrtis was excited about going up against a power as strong as Zinkenite's, it was nothing to how he felt when Kairatos showed up. He'd never met another Mars knight before, but there could be no mistaking what this man was. And he was strong too.

It took all of his self control not to seize Vulcan by the shoulders and shake her. The only person in the whole world cooler than Kairatos at that moment was Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson. He wanted to shout and fist pump the air. Wanted to be like, 'yo, can I get your number???’ at Kairatos. But he didn't, because there was another dude bitching about the white moon being undisciplined, and as a Mars knight, the last thing he wanted was for Kairatos to think that of him.

He managed to hold himself together, but couldn't help the way that he kept glancing at the older, more powerful, more experienced Mars Knight. ’Look at me,’ he begged with his eyes, prepared to salute the moment Kairatos did.

If he did.

Syrtis itched to go stand beside Kairatos, but remained with his sister because, well, she was his sister. That was important too.

Eternal Sailor Oberon

The large aura of gathering senshi, knights, and Negaverse officers pulled at Oberon’s senses. Even though he was technically on babysitting duty, he couldn’t help his curiosity. Especially since it felt as though a General Sovereign and Royal senshi were present.

Not Ganymede. She was home. He’d seen her not more than an hour ago when he agreed to stay with his brother who wanted to stretch his legs so to speak.

“Don’t to anything stupid,” Oberon hissed over his shoulder as he pulled out his phone to tap out notes onto the device. There were a number of people he recognized, and many he didn’t. “We’re just going to observe,” he said although mostly to himself.

Even he doubted he could resist getting involved if something happened.

“So far I’ve got Vulcan, Celsus, Emrys, Kairatos, Castor, Corvus… Benitoite, Wolfeite,” Oberon mumbled to himself as he typed out names into the phone. “And --”

Transcended Knight Valhalla

“Zinkenite,” Valhalla said in surprise as he pushed the tree branch aside that had been obstructing his view of those who had gathered, following close behind the younger senshi.

It had been years since he’d seen the General King, and it was a relief to see that he seemed to be well. Whenever he hadn’t heard about someone in a while, Valhalla always feared the worst. But as it was, the General Sovereign just seemed curious about everyone.

“There are too many around. It’s going to draw the attention of youma or wraiths if we’re not careful,” Valhalla said quietly to his brother, who responded with a chirped “good.”

“Or someone is going to start a fight, and I don’t think the General King will be the one to do so,” he added as he warily looked from the gathering of Negaverse officers to the group of senshi and knights as he pulled his cape free of the bushes he stepped around.
