Echo couldn't help but flinch and tense up when she heard him speak. She forced her eyes open to make sure he wasn't coming for her again, leaning away from the man. Echo was hardly able to believe his words.
She almost felt thankful but that made her stomach turn again. Echo almost rathered that she would find herself waking up in a hospital. Or at least that seemed like the best way this could've gone. Then again, it would probably be her luck that it would be the one her mother worked at.

A heavy breathe as she tried to gather her thoughts in case he decided to change his mind. Not wanting to say the wrong thing either, she only forced her hands into fist that scrapped into the cement under her.

Echo watched him leave, a bit disappointed but knowing she wouldn't have lasted much longer...if one could count that as lasting at all. She took a deep breathe into a sigh as she took the time to gather herself and figure out her bearings and keeping track of the power Crocoite put off. Not truly at ease until the feeling started to fade. Echo probably would've just collapsed there to take a breather if it wasn't for the fact she has vomited everywhere. The smell starting to get to her, she pushed off the ground and forced herself to finally stand. Upon looking at it, her stomach turned.

Looking around to make sure there their wasn't anyone around, Echo turned and found her way back to people. Coming down out of her transformation to be plain-ol' Connie again, before stepping out from the shadows. Wincing as she melted into the crowd, wondering if she would be able to still use skateboarding as a reason for looking like she's been hit by a train.
