Elzo sucked in a long draw of air, exhaling loudly. It was a fairly dramatic sigh. "You worry a lot for a man who goes out to murder weekly you know. But then, I guess this situation is a bit... out of the norm for you." Not that waking up in bed with a quasi-enemy was something Elzo did often but, he did try not to anymore.
"I'll have the cameras cleaned and details wiped. We'll got out the side entrance and from there, we'll get you an uber." A simple solution really. Reaching up, he streched, finding the feeling of his joints popping a bit relaxing all things considered.
"I'm rich sure- but money doesn't solve all problems. I've grown up with it- and I can't just give it away as Castor. Money is watched, more than you'd think. Plus, larger sums of cash are better put towards shelters, community centers, social daycare, health services- A fifty helps them a few nights, but being able to make sure they can get treatment for addiction can save their lives. As for funding against the negaverse..."
He flinched a strain in his neck catching him off guard. "They're prolific in the upper wings of managerial positions. We're still considered terrorists by most, and I've got a hunch the media is fairly connected to them. Going public with support won't help us. Work smarter, not harder, and look to long term. A think we can both agree, not many of ours consider."
Elzo thought about it then-
"How I spend my money matters little really. As for Mjolnir, she might if you give her reason to. She'll probably be upset or shocked I-" He had his own issues. Such as how he was going to reconcile the fact he'd effectively cheated on her.
"It's going to be a long discussion. Still, it was a ********," blue eyes dared him to mock the term, "and we are hardly going to to this again. We don't fel for each other, and that I think, is where we have a small saving grace."
