Deci was imbued long ago by parents she'll never meet. Her stone left with countless others to be found in the Great Cache.

It wasn't until years later that her stone was awoken. December spent her infant years being cared for as an orphan.

As a young toddler, the Grimm grew quickly and with explosive energy. She was always into something, much to the disdain of her teachers and caretakers. She loved the attention her antics brought her, but her reputation for being the kid who nwas always getting into trouble kept the other kids from playing with her.

Once her teenage years began to creep up on her, December's antics became fueled by her need to be seen and remembered. This is around the time that she learned about the Grimm and how very close she came to never existing in the first place. She tried to bring others in, get closer to them, but she was already branded as the "wild child." She swallowed her anger and her loneliness and made it her own.
