Lupu nodded, smiling softly and turning back to Evan. “Of course we can still go. I want to still go. I love you. I want to see what you had planned to win me over again…though I’m going to just throw it out there…I’m sure it would have worked…”
His arms felt strong as they held the sobbing boy against him, and he breathed in the scent of the shampoo that Evan used, a hundred memories coming to mind from the smell. And…they were together. They had done this to save him from the other side. The wrong side of things…and Evan had been so afraid of him forgetting…
Quietly, the squire let out a sigh and rested close to Evan. “…How do I do that? Go back to being me? You did it so easily…and I just want to go home, Ev? I’m tired and I just…want to hold you and go the hell to sleep.”Lysithea had moved over to Cosmos, letting the two boys have their reunion, a smile on her face from the way things had worked out.
Just as she had tried to believe they would. Quietly, she held out a hand to the woman, smiling. “Thank you again for helping us out. It means the world to me that you always show up when we need you…I hope one day, I can do as much for people…I do try, you know.” Her eyes drifted back towards Evan and Tobias and she couldn’t keep the happy smile from her face.
“Our family is this much stronger now, thanks to you, Cosmos. I appreciate you more than I will ever be able to say.”

Cosmos watched the two for a moment before he gaze settled on Lysithea. She smiled politely. “We do all we can. But you do not need to thank me. One more starseed freed from Chaos is better for all of us. Now, go. Your family will need you, just as the Cauldron needs me. If I can ever help, I will.” She did not need thanks, did not need a goodbye; she simply bowed her head in parting and allowed her white energy to consume her.

Evan seemed vaguely aware of Cosmos’ departure, but he realized that he didn’t have an answer for Tobias. He knew you were supposed to think of who you were and what you were wearing he what happened if you couldn’t remember? If your face looked different from what it did just ten minutes ago?
A panic attack was on the horizon as he fumbled for an answer, but all he could think was that Tobias would be trapped as a Knight forever, that they’d never be able to get him to power down, they’d be hunted forever, all of this would be in vain—
“Clear your mind,” Michel said firmly, gently. “Think about something peaceful. The beach, a sunset, the mountains. A bubble bath, a rainy day. Think about all your worries, all the weight of it. Imagine it like a coat, like you’re wearing all of it. And then imagine walking inside, making it home, after a long day, and taking off the coat. Do it like that,” he instructed; he’d walked over and stood next to them. His arms had been crossed over his chest, but as he spoke he lowered them so he could place one hand on Evan’s back. He kept his eyes focused on the squire’s as he gave his instructions, though.

The squire looked at Michel and gave a small smile, closing his eyes and drawing in a deep breath, letting it out slowly. As he did, the powered glamour faded, leaving a different looking Tobias standing before them, but when he smiled, those that knew would see at least a little trace of the old Tobias in that smile.
“Like that? I’m pretty sure I did it...I don’t…feel you guys anymore…” He reached out, cupping Evan’s cheek and looking longingly at him. “Ev, it’s okay, see? Here I am. Don’t you worry about anything...everything’s turned out all right.”
He leaned close, kissing the male’s forehead and gave a soft smile, before glancing to Michel and Lysithea who had joined the little group after Cosmos had departed. “...Let’s go home?”
There was excitement in his voice, excitement and hope. Things were lost, sure...but this made it all worth it.
