â–ˆ BACKGROUND â–¬ Sakura was always stuck in the role of the responsible one in her youth. At a young age, her mother, a huntress, died at the hands of a Grimm and her father was unable to cope with it. He could barely function due to the loss. Sakura had to not only take care of her father but also her younger siblings. She basically took on the role of mom, her style of clothing even reflecting as such. They weren't particularly rich so she often wore her mom's old clothing, wanting to make sure money was saved for more important things like food and other things that everyone else needed around the house. To make sure everyone was well taken care for, she had to balance a lot of apprenticeships though she didn't mind. Though, this did get in the way of following her dream of becoming a huntress just like her mother. Her father was especially against it as he didn't want her to end up like her mother. Despite this, Sakura did whatever studies that she could. It took a lot of back and forth fighting her father on it before she was allowed to actually attend the school. She tries to visit the family whenever she can and be the best huntress that she can be by continuing to get good grades in the academy.
