Now that the topic had shifted fully to what they were looking at, and Jade specifically saying bath mat stopped her from asking that embarrassing question, Delilah had to admit she felt a lot more relaxed. With the thoughts of how little she knew buried, Delilah was eager to bury herself into the decorations in the bath section instead.

"Okay! Big boat it is," hummed Delilah, throwing the rug into the cart. She had a thought, for a moment, that perhaps they should have gotten two, but everything still seemed to be fitting okay for the moment. It wasn't like Delilah had a whole house to fill, anyway, just a room and a bathroom. How many things could that really require?

Delilah set the other rug down as she searched out where the bath mats were, starting to thumb through them and figure out where something with a lot of little boats on it were. There had to be one somewhere...

Once she had tossed about six other designs aside, she found what she was looking for, and swirled around to show Jade. "Here it is! The matching bath mat, I mean." To make that clear, she pointed at the little boats she could see on the design. "I'll drop this into the cart. And yeah, decor sounds fun! I'd love to make it feel like it's mine." Even though she didn't really know what hers felt like yet. She knew she liked the owl, though, even though it didn't suit the theme exactly. And these boat things, like the rug and the mat. And the color blue.

As she set the bath mat in the cart, she came to the conclusion that she was at least getting somewhere.

It was hard not to be earnest -- or at least give off that impression, anyway -- when there was little else Delilah actually have the context for doing.

Perhaps some day.

It was nice that Jade seemed to agree with her when it came to the whole it was a start and she was getting somewhere idea. Did she want to get anything else? What would she even get? Maybe some more pillows? That seemed kinda unnecessary. She already had a bunch of the basics she might need, like a toothbrush and stuff, because that was all make sure she wasn't disgusting kinda stuff. And the food portion wasn't necessarily something she could take care of overly much here, but it wasn't like that wasn't handled, either.

Delilah pursed her lips. Hmm...

Unfortunately, there was also a part of her that wasn't totally sure what else there was to get. Maybe some curtains for her room? She was pretty sure there already was curtains in the room, though, but they weren't necessarily thematic. They were probably good enough, though. Kept the room dark. That was the point, right?

They could just come back later. Perhaps that was for the best.

Sheepishly, Delilah admitted, "Not sure what else there would be...," before going around Jade to head towards where she was fairly sure the cash registers were located.

"I think I'm pretty happy with what I got for now!"
