Quietly, Oasis listened to as the yellow colt spilled the beans. Her expression was still throughout. While others might turn red and immediately argue, Oasis was as cool as cucumber. Finally, when the whole truth was out, she just flatly said, "Oh."
There was a pause that seemed to take eternity. "It's ok, thank you for telling me. I wouldn't want to seem foolish, but... " she paused again before smiling, "I really like the cards you gave me. The art just makes me feel like I could be spending a day at the beach, and that's pretty sweet. Dragons just kinda, well, I guess it's not my thing."
Oasis protested and nudged the card back towards Shock. If it meant that much to him that he was willing to part with it and she was easily enough convinced to trade it in the first place, Oasis figured it was never meant to be hers anyways. It was kinder to let the trade stand. "To be honest too, these ones make me happy, and I think ... Flagrizard or whatever means way more to you. It's cool, we're cool." Oasis smiled as she cradled the cards she liked most against her chest, protecting them from being taken back.
"Even if someone else thinks they are lame, I don't. Hey, maybe I can make them cool and have like a theme going on? That can be a thing right, a theme deck?" Oasis chuckled as she had a thought, "If you feel that bad about trying to dupe me, maybe you can suggest other cards I should get to build the ultimate beach party card deck."

Shockstar blinked.
Then blinked again.
That was not the response he was expecting at all. He was expecting some harsh words, some upset feelings, maybe even tears. Instead he got..... acceptance?
"Whoa..wait...you really mean??" he stumbled over his words, looking at her then back at the rare treasure still in his hoof. He glanced back up at her again, a true smile spread across his face. "I... I should have just told you from the start how I felt....man If I had any idea... I wouldn't have lied in the first place..." he said sheepishly. Her excitement over the other cards made him laugh and he nodded. "Yup! Themed decks are actually quite common! You could totally go for a water based deck.... I think t hat would suit you." he smiled then glanced back at his things.
"Hey... come with me. I got a ton of extras you can have to get you started....." he gestured to her, running back to his bags and pulling out a card binder. Before flipping through the pages, he placed the Shiny Flagrizard up front, in a special place for a special card that now held more than one meaning to it.
