Koutetsu bowed to Karuto-Sensei, "Thank you for all your training sensei. I will head back now." Turning to address the Five Masters, Thank you, for your training and for providing shelter." Koutetsu gathered his belongings and headed back towards Uzushiogakure, turning back momentarily to bow to the temple itself. A small smile graced his face as he thought about how wonderful the training had been.

__ Sandayu's primary mission tasked upon him by the Iga clan was all but achieved by this point. Nearly all of his siblings had either been sent home or silenced since their betrayal. At least he had retrieved all of the sacred scrolls. The greatest sacrifice was the loss of his dear friend and retainer. If it weren't for these damned villages and their interference in his family's personal affairs then it wouldn't have come to that. He quietly damned Ichiga for his pettiness that brought about all this confusion and death around his life. Sanda gradually made his way up the seemingly infinite steps leading to the local temple. Ichiga was still out there somewhere, but it was unlikely that his oldest brother would be foolish enough to try anything knowing that he had attained full control of his Rinnegan's powers now. The innumerable casualties in the Land of Floods was also a notable testament to his current abilities. For the time being, Sandayu just wanted to seek sanctuary here while he decided his next move...

Time and space warped at the very thought of his gaze. The dimensions tore in two as he moved through them. From the portal of the Kamui dimmension, the black clad man would emerge. Silence fell the temple as Masato's crimson eyes would fall upon the attendants to the lands. The men looked at him with an eager joy as they recognized his figure after a moment. " Master Umechika! " One called out. " It had been so long since you came to the temple, we thought you might have died!"
Masato would shake his head side to side. " No Miyatso. Haven't been lucky enough to find such a fighter. I'm actually looking for someone." He smiled faintly as he would take notice of a man approaching the temple. This man would look strangely similar to himself several years ago. His fit, muscular build and black hair was patterned almost identically to his own....not that Masato would recognize himself. His clothing choices were even similar. A loosely fitted top with bandage wrap beneath. The sunset would compliment the man's lavender eyes as they looked onward. Masato would note the ocular appearance but was not aware of it's origins. " The temple just behind me will offer you a place to sleep...if that's why you're here..." Just beneath the surface, Masato felt a familiar presence of the man.

Soft footsteps of a barefooted entered from the west. She was adorned in gray robes of the finest silk. Both hands were calmly down by her sides. Flowers erupted from the ground which her feet graced. Whether they knew it or not, they had summoned her. Her last two children. The failures. Despite her initial critiques of their beings they had found themselves messiahs along the land. The boy in white an envoy of the seven; master of the spiritual and keeper of the pure eyes. The boy in black the host of the nine; a martial artist of no equal with the eyes of his father. Both of them found their own way to this fated meeting spot. Her hands rose as all of the flowers her steps produced disbursed into petals. The petals surrounded the three of them and shielded them away from any sensory. "In my name I bless this fated meeting. Sons of Tohru, I welcome you to finally take a chance to ascend beyond the boundaries of the mortal, and become enlightened deities!" Joy rang in her voice. __ As Sandayu wandered the temple grounds he took notice of the absurd distortion in space time created by a man that soon appeared from it. He nearly paused to spectate the familiar interaction between the crimson-eyed stranger and the resident monks. To be honest, Sandayu almost felt like he was watching a mirrored image of himself in motion. "Hmn..." Instead, he was given pause to something... else. A massive force of chakra and natural energy was entwined in a single entity that approached the temple grounds eastbound. Before long the woman was amongst everyone else and her eyes shifted between the older lookalike and himself as she spoke. However, the context of her words put even the naturally stoic Sandayu off balance in a disturbingly deep manner. Sanda's right hand balled into a fist until a moment of awkward silence befell the scene. He briefly glanced in Masato's direction then back to this woman again, "You're... mistaken, I think." He attempted to visibly relax his body, but kept his eyes at the ready if at all necessary, "I am Sandayu Genburyuichirousuke, seventh son of Jiroukotsu and Yagura of the Iga clan." Even still, after all that had been done and said throughout his journey up until this point, it was possible that his actual blood-related family could come into his life. Sandayu couldn't help but feel like the odds of such an encounter happening now of all times was completely absurd, however.

The man in white would fade into the distance for a moment as Masato's eyes refocused on the heavy disturbing amount of chakra mixed with natural energies that appeared as easily as he had. The woman's appearance was all too familiar. His mind began to race. He recalled images of his father, Tohru Umechika standing side by side with this woman in his youth. Blurred images of another child danced through his head. He could not make out the face though. Still, this woman's visage had not been erased of his mind.
As the woman announced the two as sons of Tohru, Masato's eyes narrowed as his lip curled. The woman's joyful demeanor in offering them assendancy would entice Masato. He was tempted to give into such an offer. Opening his mouth to answer, an unexpected voice inside his head would call out. "Stupid boy. If you give into her, we're both dead. You won't be costing me my life. You're too foolish to even recognize your Master's companion." Masato would pause, his mouth closing and refocusing on Sandayu. His gaze did not faulter for several seconds. " Cho...mei." he said, finally identifying the chakra of the man.
Masato would snort, exhaling sharply. " Sorry....Ma'. I'm not looking to die for whatever you're offering. Besides, pretty sure I'm already ' enlightened'." Masato turned to the man in white. " Yo. Sanda" He called, shortening the name as he did with most persons. " Not sure if you're kin or not...But this lady is bad news. Ready for a good fight?"

She first smiled toward Sandayu when he expressed confusion about his origin. "You were adopted by a clan who raised you into one of the most remarkable ninja of flesh. However, it is time now to reach the true peak of your potential." She said with glory in her voice. However, when Masato seemed ready to dismiss her, she looked at her son and smiled benevolently. "My dear, sweet son. I welcome you to a fight, but know that you cannot win. I am the queen of the cosmos and the mother of maternity itself. Please reconsider before you set yourself on this foolish path. I will only give you one warning." She said, this time somewhat sternly. She was above getting her hands dirty, but she would gently scold her children with force if necessary.
__ Although he was well aware of the fact, for some reason this lady stating his status as adopted by the Iga clan cut deeply. Given her detectable abundant power, Sandayu wasn't surprised by her boundless confidence. The way she carried herself and spoke didn't lead him to much doubt her claims to divinity. However, Masato acted more outwardly resistant to her demands than he did despite the posed obstacle. The crimson-eyed fellow that had been declared as his older brother would have his invitation to fight answered in a somewhat unorthodox manner. 'Let's see just how godly you are...' Under his fleshly visage his body transformed, and a less subtle feature was brought about from his left arm. His left hand and forearm took the shape of a metallic mechanical crossbow which was then raised in Masato's direction. "Hmph." A black chakra receiver took shape and was released to strike Masato in the center of his torso. What could be his reason for siding with this woman that threatened both of their lives? It was nothing short of his distrust for virtually any and everyone, but there was deeper reason than that for the quiet stoic young man to take satisfaction from regardless of the sacrifices to be made.

Masato's eyes would detect the influx in chakra coming from his supposed younger brother. The arm of the young man clad in white would be raised towards Masato. Instantly, Masato would recognize hostility in his actions toward him. His crimson red eyes would pulsate as they honed in on the black transceiver. The eyes would negate the transceiver's chakra by using his own to dis-spell the technique before it's creation. His voice, serious as it was would lower it's tone. " C'mon now. We've got bigger things to focus on." His eyes would examine the arm that had transformed into the crossbow like function, curious of it's design but not willing to engage the sibling in combat. Not unless he really desired to side with the woman.
Not wasting a moment, he would clench his fist tightly before his torso as it would be illuminated with his black chakra that sparked like flames. Pivoting towards the deity that claimed motherhood over all things he would extend the fist outward to strike her forehead. As the fist reached it's full range of motion it would ignite with flames that would expand outward taking the shape of a giant lotus flower. This would block the view that she would have of the two as ten fireballs one foot in width expanded from the knuckles of Masato and would be driven into her body, driving her backwards to distance her from the two. While he was wary of Sanda, he hoped he would come around and it would not be a three sided battle.

The mother sighed in a way a mom does when her children so clearly act out. "This is not my will." She said as the black arrow darted past Masato. Her eye fixated on it as purple diluted her eyes. Within moments the caveat of Sandayu's powers blossomed into a burst of cherry blossoms. Furthermore, the black flames Masato bound himself in soon solidified into a giant tree which rooted Masato deep into the earth. This bound him in place and prevented him from firing off his punch. "Do you live so deep in the cave that when sunlight graces you that you mistake it for the flames of hell? Perhaps it is the face of others you need to see." She said as the woman's eyes shifted to a shade of crimson. The dimensions of Kamui warped around her while white globs of chakra reigned from the sky. A dozen or more of them shifted into the appearances and mentalities of those Sandayu murdered. Their eyes were blacked out as they first all screamed in agony. Their mouths shut, however, as the leader of the clan spoke. "Sandayu. You must run." He said painfully. His body than began to jerk forward toward the boy. He was fifty feet away, and his body jerked and rocked as though possessed by strings. "We have our minds, but our bodies are not our own. You must run!" He shouted as he then made a beeline toward Sandayu. His hand manifested a chakra rod as he move in to impale his comrade with it. Once he did, two others would korabo together and unleash a sea of flames to collide with Masato.

__ Sandayu's brow furrowed slightly as he watched his black chakra receiver fade back out of existence, practically in reverse of its creation. The chakra that infected his creation for a moment vanished with it, but gave plenty of indication that it was Masato's counteractive technique rather than their mother's intervention. 'Interesting technique...' The pale violet hues of his Rinnegan faded to a sickly white as the Byakugan's all-encompassing ocular prowess blended into effect. The veins at the sides of his head were just slightly visible behind his wild black hair. Masato's attack on Mother was easily deflected by her before she flared more of her natural energy to create an army of manifested spirits. Theses vassals appeared reluctant but were acting as Mother's guardians and vanguard to quell her rebellious sons. The most eye-fetching features of some of the bodies were their resemblance to recognizable others, some alive and most of the rest dead. Sandayu redirected his left arm toward the imposter Jiroukotsu that charged at him. "For the good of the clan." Unflinching, the boy killed his feelings to fulfill his duty out of respect for the lessons that his adoptive father taught him to become a shinobi. A normal crossbow bolt was crafted through his Asura Path's power and launched to fly through Jiroukotsu's skull as well as the bodies of anyone unlucky enough to be behind him along that trajectory. It would intercept Jiroukotsu a little after halfway to the destination. Although not quite at the level of Shunshin, Sanda then moved quickly to position himself between Masato and the incoming attack with his right hand held out toward the oncoming wall of fire. The fire chakra was drawn into and dispersed at the same time that a pitch-black, fist-sized sphere of all five elemental natures formed behind and above his right shoulder.

As the flames Masato had shot at the woman turned on him, binding him in tendrils of a tree formed of his own chakra, Masato would flex, pulling his arms to his sides and roaring. " Kyaaaaaaahhhh" The wood around his body shattered just as Sandayu would intercept the strike. He had witnessed the man just cut down those who were made to look like his closest friends and he was able to cut them down. He had resolve. He would look to his supposed brother from behind as he smirked. " That's more like it!" Masato exclaimed as he vanished in a flurry of flames. As soon as he had vanished, Masato appeared directly in front of the woman in a bent knee position. With a final lunge he would drive his middle finger and index finger together into her heart.The powerful taijutsu technique was designed to cause cardiac arrest. A lethal move used by normal fighters but in the hands of Masato it would be a minor tool. Masato was still feeling out this woman's power. She was clearly on another playing field than his previous opponents. His heart raced with excitement as the battle pursued. Kurama still spoke within his concious. " You can hit harder than that! She'll never go down if you don't start trying to kill her!"

She sure did have rowdy children. Masato's attack would have caused cardiac arrest if she did have a heart. However, the woman did not find a need to keep such an organ on her. Instead, her children are her heart, and thus, she can only truly die when one of them do. "Your pet is right, my son. A hand to my heart will only make me yearn deeper for you." Masato would find that he could not move his fingers away from the point of contact. Slowly Masato's body started to become absorbed into her. Her arms extended toward her son. "Join me now, my beautiful child." She said with a smile as, unless someone with the ability to sever chakra interfered, Masato's whole arm would soon be molded into her own body. Meanwhile, the corpses of the fallen started to mold together. They became an amalgamation equal to that of a giant serpent fifty feet long. It coiled its body together as it's large mouth then descended onto Sandayu's position.

__ So, it seemed that their mother was very literal when she declared her intent to have them join her. Sandayu was partially considering letting this headstrong oaf of a man reap what he sowed. However, at this point it was clear enough that this woman was plenty as fallible as any other mortal. Sandayu's left hand reformed and was raised at the monstrous serpent-like creature coming his way while his right hand was held toward the other two. He sighed, "Haah..." A heavy exertion of chakra sent the explosively potent attracting force of Bansho Ten'in upon the snake, dragging its massive form into the now-cratered temple grounds under it before its fangs could come. Meanwhile, the similarly repelling forces of Shinra Tensei were enacted between Masato and Mother. This would throw Masato back toward Sandayu while Mother would be thrown away into the forested landscape outside of the temple. "This is just ridiculous." He grumbled aloud as he saw that the woman essentially had all the same powers as they did, if not more. What could she possibly gain from absorbing either or both of them back into herself? Nonetheless, Sandayu firmly stood his ground for now. He dared not pursue her alone as Masato attempted to do. Not that he really cared, but it would be in the resident monks' best interest to quickly evacuate the area if they didn't want to become casualties of this familial conflict brought to their doorstep.
Sandayu reached down and set his left hand's palm on the ground. Summoning formula suddenly appeared around him and an explosion of smoke ensued. As it cleared a giant, dark-brown furred canine stood on all fours with Sanda between its forelegs. Every pair of eyes on the multiheaded beast he had summoned were adorned with their own Rinnebyakugan-enhanced gazes which were linked to their summoner through the Outer Path's power. Sandayu set his right hand on one of Hidora's forelegs as he stood upright again, using the Preta Path's Leach Touch ability to partially restore his chakra reserves. "Kill that snake." He ordered of it as his attention largely remained focused on Mother's whereabouts and doings. The powerful beast trotted off toward the restrained snake and towered over it with a malevolent glare and bared teeth. The nearly rabid expression acted as its vanguard with all of its head diving in to tear their foe to pieces in the blink of an eye. Sandayu stood appearingly winded by the expensive technique's he'd used all at once just now. However, he had a few optional strategies available to either make use of his state and to rejuvenate himself.
