Migoto looked to the disc and watched as it fit into the table, somewhat taken aback by the convenience, but none too surprised at the technology itself as the files appeared. Living where he had, he'd dealt with a massive amount of various gadgets, though he himself hadn't been the one to handle them very often. He'd sift through the data as fast as he could read, memorizing each word and darting to the next at a rapid speed. The smile never left his face as he used one hand to scroll about, the other to begin once again eating.

"Well now, this is troublesome. To think there exists such a disease; it's frightening, isn't it? Biological warfare...Singe's had his eye on this hospital for some time; to think I would come across it so soon..." He'd begin to chuckle, filling his plate with yet another round of food, obviously a man with an endless void for a stomach. "Might I ask whom is paying you? I ask...because the Scarlet Alchemist would pay a hefty sum for this very same thing, that he would. But then you're aiding a...hm. Perhaps he'd already placed his pieces in this mess..." He pondered aloud.

Dethblade stood still as a statue with the blade back in hand. He'd watch. Listen. Assess. Once the the liquid entered the IV, he'd dismiss the sword and approach the bed, watching her vitals plummet into obsolete values. He'd then look to Annette, remaining silent for a moment. "You say she is catastrophically contagious...I cannot risk you becoming infected, nor can I have you existing in a suit...perhaps the time has come for infinite, everlasting peace to wash across the land in and ebb and flow of mercy." He'd begin to make his way towards the window. "You're wrong about two thing, doctor. The first is that mercy is finite and defined...you know this.you've displayed it. Like it or not, doctor, you've become an accomplice to the harbinger of mercy itself."

Once he was at the window, he'd turn and face Annette. "This monument to despair, Grace of Nocturnal...I don't like being away from my home, but if this is where Nimm must remain for you to properly suppress her, then so be it. Call your comrades, doctor. Call them all, superiors as well. They need to know that this is my new monument to mercy. This town is now mine. These people and their lives are mine, and in time they will come to agree through their own free will. Just as you shall come to willingly ally with me, doctor. But, until that time comes...I shall form a bond. And my second truth to you shall come in the form of a gift."

Shortly after finishing his thought, Dethblade would fall to one knee while clutching at his side, small crimson droplets falling to the ground and pooling. "Do not...under any circumstance...mistake this as an opportunity...as opposed to a gift. My gift unto you...is proof of my mortality..." He managed to speak before pulling his hand away from a bloody patch on his side, hidden by his coat. "I believe, good doctor, that I have been shot. One of us is going to tear out this infernal bullet and fix this wound. I've presented you with an ultimatum once today, I will not force another upon you. Either direct me where to go for treatment and obey your oath...or don't. Two...simple...options..." It would become obvious he was starting to lost a great deal of concentration, and blood.

"My employer chose to stay anonymous. Payment was sent via messenger, which was quite a feat given I was not anywhere easy to find." She explained, still looking out the window. "I almost didn't take the job. I received a message from the employer with a basic request of 'I want you to obtain this item, heres what I'll pay you' and I disregarded it entirely. I didn't respond. I packed my bag and headed out to a new location. The day after I got there, a courier handed me an envelope. Inside was the disc, what I was told was half my payment, and a letter that gave me a personal reason to take this job." She looked back at him finally. "The payment I seek isnt monetary. It's more substantial than that. For me, its peace of mind."

She moved, sitting up straight and holding her hand up as if to examine the back of it. "I promised to tell you more about myself when we got here. Back when we discussed things like humans being good or not. In all honesty, I think they're both. A combination of the two, existing at one time in one place. People have the capacity to to be both saints of righteousness, and still be cruel and wicked all at the same time." She tilted her hand slightly, and with the movement, the scales shifted, and her hand and fore arm vanished. She looked back at Migoto, her gaze plain to see through her invisible arm. "My body is covered in these scales. I am the product of genetic bio engineering experiments. Some genetic splicing, some nanotech, and all of it done against my will because I was an easy target that no one would miss, and I did not contribute anything to the world. By societies standards, I had no value. I was told it was for the greater good, that the tests would be for the benefit of everyone. The tech was meant to be used as a shield for soldiers or law enforcement. You cant hurt what you can't see or recognize. But they cant test their tech on people that have worth, something could go wrong, dont you know."

She took a breath, tilting her hand back so it reappeared, then further so that her skin color changed. Her tan skin going noticeably darker. "Turns out, when you install a permanent set of camouflage in a person against there will, they get the idea to use it to their advantage and escape." She smirked. "Our anonymous employer convinced me to take this job by informing that they wishe to stop these sorts of things from happening. Whether or not this is a lie just to get me to take the job has yet to be seen."

Annette listened as he spoke, undoing the leads and turning the monitor off. She moved, pulling the sheet up over the girl, closing her eyes momentarily before turning back to the man as he fell to his knee. Her expression which had been cold and stone like up to this point, turned to confusion. Not because she thought he was beyond being hurt, but because she had not noticed sooner.

Turning, she hit a button on the wall above the now dead girls bed. An alarm would sound, but one that called a code, not security. "If you can walk, I can get you to a surgical room. I do not have the necessary equipment here to safely remove a bullet."

Once Migoto was made privy to her arm, specifically, he would cease eating. He'd place the chopsticks together and set them aside, then his plate. He'd then adjust himself in his spot and place his hands on his lap, all the while his eyes darting one moment to Risa, then falling to gaze into the abyss.

At no point did he smile.

"I'm sorry, Risa...I'm so sorry..." He'd shut his eyes tight and ball his hands in his lap while letting his head hang forward, as if in an effort to bow. "They were wrong; of course you have worth!" He'd burst out. "No one can go so far as to deem another as unworthy! They can't say you're of any lesser value than anyone else, and even if they could somehow peer into the future and see all of the thing you might accomplish, they can't measure what you mean to others! You're someone's daughter! You're someone's friend..." He'd speak, his tone shaky.

"People...beings like the Scarlet Alchemist, and whomever did this to you; they say what they do is in the name of science and advancement, research and development...the worst thing is that they're right. The terrible things we've done to one another...have bred living-saving aid. But to pluck a girl up, claim she's without value and inflict these means upon her. You are correct, we all have the capacity for good and evil within us, and the line can skew into shades of gray within no possible differentiation. But it's clear as day which side of the spectrum you reside on when...when they do something like this to you. Don't be mistaken, I don't think you lack any beauty, not in the very least. But I can only imagine what being told those kinds of things, then being forced to endure Hell did to your psyche..." He admitted.

"If there is a way this process can be put to an end then we must find it." He'd finally open his gleaming eyes again and look to her, the pain and sympathy he felt for her reflected in his gaze. "You have worth, Risa. You're the only friend I have ever had. You have my word I will be here to help you whenever you wish me to be."

Dethblade remained silent still for a moment as he moved to sit on his knees in a seemingly counterproductive manner, though soon several rifts would appear, swords emerging from each one to form a platform beneath him. He'd soon be lifted into the air by them, following Annette.

Once they were in the surgical room the platform of blades would levitate next to the table, allowing him to move on to it with more ease. He'd then banish the blades and remove a knife from his coat, cutting through the many straps and layers that covered his torso to reveal his chest...nothing but a mashup of scars, pre-existing bandages, metal mesh, and stitches.

He'd drop the knife on to the ground, his last bit of willpower used on making access to the wound easier. "O+...180 pounds..." He spoke allowed for her to hear.

Risa tilted her head, smiling softly, and allowing her hand to return to normal before she set it back down. "What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Considering all things I've endured, and an unspoken list of your own I'm sure you have, the two of us must be truly capable of doing something." She moved to stand, and took a step back, away from the table. "I'm glad you consider me a friend, you'd be my second ever. I never bothered to make friends since I travel so much." The soft sound of shifting scales sounded as she shifted her whole body to become invisible, leaving just the night gown visible. "Obviously my scales only work on my person, but I did manage to steal a suit that they'd integrated with nano tech." She shifted back to being visible. "The scales refract the light around me, allowing for invisibility. They also conceal my heat signature." She felt it best he knew and understood how her scales worked if he was going to be helping her.

"Their other feature is a bit more complicated, and takes time to prepare in full, but I can shift my appearance to. If I want to change my entire appearance, I can shed my current scales and grow new ones to replace them. It's an automatic kind of process. They self replicate in order to repair themselves of they get damaged. Its messy though, and kinda hurts, so I don't do it often." She admitted, smiling nervously. "The me you see now isn't what I originally looked like...but I changed my appearance a handful of times since I escaped to make sure I wasn't found." She explained, moving to walk around the table and heading over to sit on her futon. "Risa isn't even my real name. Just the one I've used on this planet." She stretched her arms above her head, yawning a bit. "Sorry, didn't realize how tired I was. Anyway, enough sad talk. Enjoy the rest of your food, grab a bath, and get some sleep. We'll hit Grace of Nocturnal once we get some rest." She suggested, smiling again and moving to get comfortable under the blanket.

Annette moved quickly, leading Dethblade out of the patients room and to an emergency surgical room down the hall, away from the carnage. Now that the code was called, other staff members would show up, see the patient pinned to the wall. Find the dead girl in her bed, the other patients that he had killed. She clenched her jaw, pressing her lips together firmly as she played out the scenarios.

Once he was on the table and cutting his straps and such away, she removed her coat and rolled her sleeves up before pulling on gloves, and finding her tools and sterilization equipment. "You will need to give me access to your arm as well, for IV." She explained quickly. "Youll need blood for sure, but everything else I can do via injection." She placed her stuff down on a rolling tray before tapping into another dispenser in the wall, putting in for a unit of blood an anesthetic to numb the area she'd be working on. She rolled everything over to the table, first setting up an IV to administer the blood. An injection of local anesthetic onto the wounded area would be next and once it was working shed open a fresh scalpel and set to work. For a moment, an odd thought crossed her mind. What was she doing? Here she was, after just murdering a patient, saving the life of the man that put her up to it, and was the direct cause of death of at least four other patients. The same man that wanted his hands on her patient. This thought led to a series of other questions though. Why did he want Nimm? Did he know why she was here? Did he know what they were doing with the girls diseased blood? There were two other questions she had though that prevailed over all the rest. Who was this man, and what was he going to do next?

A metallic thud would be heard as she dropped the bullet into a metal bowl and moved to grab something that looked like a small wanded spray nozzle. It contained a biopolymer binding agent. Basically tissue adhesive that sealed wounds and kept her from having to do internal stitches.

Nimm backed away from the door as she heard the alarms, momentarily thinking she was the cause of them. Once she realized it was a code she relaxed and went back to trying to listen. She could hear the sound of running shoes and someone shouting, but it was muffled. "Hello? Excuse me? Please, is everything alright?" She called through the door. She waited, but never got a response.

Migoto felt physically ill. The fact of the matter was that he'd lived his entire life thus far with one of the very beings that went about committing such atrocities. True be it the Sisters Three were the assistants to the Scarlet Alchemist, Migoto himself had aided in more than one task, albeit without much choice in the matter. Like her, he'd managed to escape his confines, and like her he had endured aforementioned atrocities, but he had so much less to show for it. Here she was seeking a way to end the cycle, whereas he had simply run without so much as the slightest idea of what to do next. Had he not found her, who knows who, or what, would have caught his attention instead.

"Remove it. We're finished." He spoke aloud finally. It may have seemed odd, but once the attendant returned and began the process of removing the food, mainly so he didn't have to smell the leftovers as he slumbered, it would no doubt be clear he was using his power again. He'd rise to his feet and retrieve a towel, heading towards the bath.

Once he was submerged in the waters, his eyes barely peeking out, he'd begin to run a psychic scan of the city. He'd jump from one person to another in their vicinity, his abilities currently extending in a large, shifting radius as he also relaxed in the warm waters. He'd read one mind, then jump to the next. After a while of doing his own little version of people watching, he'd remove himself from the bath and dry himself, slipping back into his clothes. He didn't feel nearly as ill, though there was something in the pit of his stomach he just couldn't seem to shake, and thus he b-lined for his futon, throwing a blanket over himself and starring up at the ceiling.

Before allowing himself to fall asleep, Migoto began whispering something under his breath, a chant of sorts. It wasn't necessary for his task, but it helped him concentrate as he formed a psychic carrier around the room, one he could both activate and make physical, and that would wake him instantly should it be triggered.

Dethblade made no sound as he was operated on, not a word or a whimper. e wouldn't twitch nor flinch, but rather remain perfectly still. Once her work was done, he finally moved to shift his head, looking to the source of his predicament that had been removed. "Incredible work, doctor. I am impressed...and even more than that, I am jubilant. You could have made the move to end my life, and yet, you did precisely as I instructed. Surely you noticed the blade I left on the floor? Yet you just went right about tending to me." It was as though in merely shutting the wound, he'd been revitalized.

"I require your council, doctor. I believe I can muster the strength for one more assault, but I will no doubt slip from consciousness after. Or I could take refuge...perhaps with Nimm? Would she be receptive to company?" He inquire,d as though completely ignorant to the fact she was so highly contagious. "You need not worry about contamination in my case. The Pestilence of this world is, quite literally, the least of my concerns. But what say you?"
PostPosted: Mon Jun 25, 2018 10:34 am

Risa watched Migoto as he ordered the food away, frowning a bit. He'd been so hungry earlier. She hadnt intended to ruin his appetite, or upset him. She shifted and laid down as he went out to the bath. Shed be sleeping lightly by the time he got back.

Annette glanced up at him as she finished the internal work, setting the spray down on the tray and readying an old fashioned suture kit. "I am a doctor, Theres an oath we take to keep us from killing people just because we dont agree with them on something." She started her sutures. "Before you start proving holes in my statement, I killed that child earlier because as you said, she was not going to get better. She had no quality of life left." She blinked and flicked the mesh in his skin with her free hand. "Though I do wonder about your quality of life, and how long you plan to push through all this?" She finished her stitching and snipped the thread before applying antiseptic and a membrane patch to keep contaminants out of the wound.

Once he asked for her input, she'd take her tray over to the counter so it could be sterilized, removing her gloves and throwing them away. "I do not know why you feel the need to continue your assault. Your end game here is a mystery to me. If you feel that you are immune to the disease then hiding in Nimms room why you recuperate would be the more realistic option. I'm sure she'd appreciate someone new to talk to that wasnt in a sterile suit." She explained, walking back over to the table and moving to help him up.

"When the time comes, I'll answer every question you can muster. I will make clear my goals and the methods I intend to use to obtain them...but not yet. As for my quality of life, well. To be perfectly honest, I seek peace in the eternal abyss...but no such gift awaits me. So I've taken on the burden of delivering peace unto the world, at the cost of my own Shangri La." Dethblade spoke as he moved to his feet with Annette's help.

"I will recuperate with Nimm, then. And you have my word I will be on my best behavior." An eerie chuckle would soon emit from behind the mask as he began the walk back. "We're all going to have to get along if we intend on finding peace for ourselves, much less the world. Surely you can agree on that?" Again he'd chuckle. "I suppose at this point, in the interest of the bond I seek with my allies, a bit of quid pro quo may go a long way. One question, yours to ask, mine to answer honestly."

That night, Migoto had a nightmare born from the restless mind of a psychic. He saw a town, streets littered with bodies, each one impaled by a blade of some type. As he explored the town, he'd find a figure he couldn't discern and Risa. Words would be exchanged, though he couldn't make them out. At the end of the dream, the figure summoned forth an array of weapons, using each one to attack Risa. The nightmare ceased just before a fatal blow was struck, and Migoto burst from his slumber. He'd look wearily to Risa, making sure she was still there, then check the status of his barrier. Seeing all as well, he'd lie back down and dismiss the dream as just that, rather than the backlash of two being's powers colliding unbeknownst to even them.

"You wish death for yourself, yet asked me to remove a bullet and patch you up." Annette peaked out in the hall. The glory that was the hospital was that it could be minimally staffed and still functional. Especially up on these floors, away from the general flow of everyday hospital traffic. This left the hallway they needed to walk down free and clear of curious eyes and questioning attendings. More than likely they were busy with the dead bodies and a remote check in had been done on patients to inquire that all was well. Still, it was odd that no one came to check the surgical room they'd borrowed. Once he offered her a prize for her cooperation she thought a moment, walking with him back toward Nimms room. She paused outside the decontamination room, badging in so that the first set of doors opened and let them both in. The door locked behind them. Annette moved, getting her suit on much as she would if she were going to exam the girl. Out of all the questions she'd had buzzing in her head earlier, she had one that pressed more than the others. "I had a patient once, that refused to give his real name to anyone. To him, to give someone your true name was to give someone the ability to control you. Names, when used correctly, give something power. So, what is your true name, Dethblade?" She asked finally. She put her mask and helmet on and opened the door into Nimms room.

Nimm looked up, hearing someone enter the decontamination room. She took several steps back away from the door so whoever it was could open the door. With a hiss, the door opened and Nimm recognized Dr. Lafleur. She did not, however, recognize the person with her. He wore such a strange contact suit. Was it a contact suit? It had to be, no one ever came in with out one. Maybe it was a new model? She blinked, confusion plain to see on her face. "Doctor....what's going on?" She asked. "I thought I heard screaming earlier." She spoke to Annette, but her eyes didnt leave the dark figure next to the woman.

"If I die, doctor, then it will bebeyondmy power to fix anything...and thus so long as I have a crusade to carry out, I must live on, regardless of my own selfish desires. That...and there are things beyond you or I keeping me here. In time I will explain, but for now simply know that my continued existence is necessary." He explained as they moved. Once they were in Nimm's room, Dethblade would stare at Nimm for a moment. Just stare, blank and eerie, silent and stoic. "So you want to know my name in order to hold power? Very well. But you will ultimately be disappointed I fear."

Dethblade placed both hands on the side of his mask and unlatched it from something, a small mechanism audible upon its removal. Beneath was a pure black hood, visible only from Dethblade's side. He'd remove the hood as well, neck-length raven black locks falling on to his shoulders in a mess, amethyst eyes still starring at Nimm, but only for a moment until he'd glance to Annette. "My name, doctor, is Kain. Kain Sh'Zual. You both may call me whatever you like, but this world has no recollection of my name...whereas Dethblade is well-known. A pleasure to make the acquaintance of you both."

He'd make his way over to the chair in the room and sit, his hand on his side. "'m going to be blunt, ladies. This hospital is now mine, and those that oppose me shall come to find the bliss that only entropy can provide at the edge of my blades. This hospital shall be my base of operations from hereon, and the good doctor will be my representative. Doctor...no. Annette. Thisis your one an only chance...you can walk away from all of this. You can leave all of this, take my ship and do as you like. But Nimm is now under my protection. I will need to know how to care for her before letting you depart. Or you may stay. You may stay, remain as my ally, and aid me in bringing about a new paradise, free of profiteers and moguls."

He'd then turn his attention back to Nimm...and smile weakly, but kindly. "It's nice to meet you, Nimm. Tell me, how would you like to see the world? As I said, this will be my base of operations, but your gift must be spread throught the universe...I would prefer you be there to see the magnificent result."

It was a mix of fear and shock that ran through her as she watched him removing his mask. She noticeably flinched back, a reflex she'd acquired. "No, stop! You'll get sick!" She put her hands up, looking borderline terrified.

Annette stepped forward. "I've already informed him of the risks, Miss Rozenthall. He is well aware of your illness and says he will be fine." She explained, trying to calm the girl down. She turned her attention to him as he removed the hood and and introduced himself as Kain, explaining his intentions. She took a seat on a nearby stool, crossing her legs and listening.

Nimm watched him carefully. Examining him almost. It had been so long since she'd seen someone outside of a contact suit. She looked somewhat apprehensive, waiting to see if he too would start spitting up blood and convulsing. So far he seemed fine. Her confusion only got worse as he stated he was now in charge of the hospital and offered Annette a continued position. What was going on? Was she hypoxic? Did she have another fit and not realize? Surely this was all the result of a lack of oxygen to her brain while she drowned in her own blood again. If that were true, then she was going to enjoy it while it lasted and she woke up in her bed with a new set of scars and bruises from procedures.

Annette nodded. I cant say I disagree with your general view of this place and what it does. If it weren't the leader in medical research, I probably would of found work someplace else a long time ago. Considering your claiming my research project as your own, I'll be staying." She explained, smiling wittle behind her mask. She moved to stand. "I'll be back momentarily. There is a prototype I need to retrieve that may make things a tad easier. She stepped out into the entryway, the door closing behind her, leaving Nimm alone with Kain momentarily.

Nimm shifted, a bit uncomfortable all of a sudden. She tucked her arms behind her back, listening to Kain as he asked her if she wanted to see the world. She blinked, and nodded. "I've been asking to go outside for years now. Even if it means wearing one those contact suits....you'll let me leave here?" Now she knew this was a hallucination, still it was hard to hide the hope in her voice. Quiet and timid though it might be. But it had a spark to it once she was told shed see the world. As he mentioned her power though, she regained her confused look. "Oh, first time Ive had powers in a hallucination. Then again, they usually are done by now..."

Annette's answer was more than satisfactory to him, causing him to convey a smile of his own, albeit slight. He was curious as to what she was after, just what this prototype was. His attention now rested upon Nimm. "So this is what he saved you from...I see." He muttered to himself before standing. "This is no hallucination, Nimm. Look at my face...you've never seen it before. The human mind has troubles putting together a face it has never seen before, and yet you see me, clear as day."

Taking a seat at the edge of her bed, he'd smile weakly and look to his new wound. "Of course you have a power, Nimm. You possess a superpower greater than any that have come before you: you have the gift of mercy, Nimm. All of this pain, and suffering, and agony you're enduring...there are so many in this world than endure constant torment like you do. They exist day to day, praying it be their last." He'd offer a hand out to her, looking her in the eye. "The three of us will bring about an end to strife, Nimm. But you must be a willing participant. I cannot let you die, Nimm. Not yet. Not before you accomplish the task set forth by the will of the cosmos. Just like me, Death is a luxury you simply cannot afford. I'm so sorry, Nimm...but be strong. Endure this trial, and you will emerge a hero."

Her brows knitted a moment as he explained, and she realized he was speaking of her illness as her power. Which made the rest if what he said a bit more heavy. He wanted her to go and infect people. A walking plague in the world. She was locked up in the hospital specifically to avoid such a catastrophe. The only time anyone sounded this happy about her illness was back when Annette first took her case, but it was for a different reason.

It wasnt until he spoke of death, specifically that she finally spoke again. "To be fair, I've died before, or...I tried to anyway...its not something that's generally allowed here at the hospital." She smiled, though there was a bit of cynicism to it. "You say I cant die, but being kept in this place isnt exactly living. So what choice do I have but to go do what you say?" She pointed out. She shifted her weight again, relaxing a bit more and finally moving to sit, choosing to sit at the head of her bed while he remained at the foot of it. "I really do want to leave this place...and I'm a bit scared at how much I dont care about the repercussions." She admitted, pulling her knees up and resting her chin on them. She stared at him, thinking about the impossible things that suddenly were all in her reach.

The sound of the entryway could be heard, and a few minutes later Annette stepped back in. In her hand was a white surgical grade face shield. "I've been tinkering with a pet project for awhile now." She explained, walking over to the bed and handing the device to Nimm. "It has a built in filtration system, and a purified O2 converted. I was hoping it could be used if we ever did get the all clear for you to leave. My biggest worry is not that you'll make others sick, but rather the opposite. You've spent your whole life in a sterile environment, the outside world and your compromised immune system is a recipe for an early grave. This should help."

Nimm reached out with slender fingers, taking the mask and looking it over. She had no idea such a thing was being worked on. Nor that Annette had the fore thought to create it in hopes of Nimm leaving one day. "Thank you, Doctor....I really appreciate it." She smiled up at the woman.

Annette gave a small nod before turning to Kain, handing him a glass cannula. "This, is for you. You said you wished to spread Nimms diseases around the world, then you should be aware that Grace of Nocturnal had wished to do the same thing eventually. However, there plan was to do so once a cure was discovered, so that it could be sold for profit." Annette explained. "This is the disease in its concentrated form."

Risa shifted, rolling onto her back and stretching a bit before blinking her eyes to clear the sleep from them. She sat up and yawned, looking around to see if Migoto had slept at all.

Kain starred for a moment at Nimm as she spoke her own self on the topic of death. Her response hit him hard, enough for him to at least close his eyes and sigh heavily. "You cannot die. Annette will not let you die. I will not let you die. This is an unfair cruelty you must endure and come to terms with...because it will not change." He'd then look to Nimm again, a small smile on his face. "So live, Nimm. Leave this room and forge a life with us. The one you've endured up until this point is now a dark part of your past. It's time to forge a much brighter future, for everyone."

Once Annette came back in with the mask he'd watch with great intrigue, the doctor having made an excellent point. He took the vial into hand with a smile, then settled his gaze once more on Annette. "The cure. How ironic that the cure should find them; tell me doctor, do you think it's luck that dictates my immunity? That I sit here, simply hoping to rapidly avoid the contagion? Of course not. It's my blood. My immune system. Is it not true that a transfusion of my blood would solve this little dilemma? And if so...should we not get to work curing you, doctor? I'd rather not have you living in that suit."

Kain stood and moved to the window, watching as people worked on trying to haul his ship. "We need an event of momentous caliber, on in which I will be able to speak to each and everyone citizen of this city simultaneously. Perhaps curing Annette would kill two birds with one stone...Nimm." Kain spoke sharply, showing her the vial. "I no longer need you. If I so please I could leave now and never return, condemning you both to live on in this monotony; Annette working for despicable scum that would use you only to profit, and you, Nimm, would only serve as a means to their end. Yes, I intend to use you as a means to mine..."

Kain moved to sit on the bed again, pocketing the vial in his breast coat pocket. "Or we can make it our goal. All three of us. We can work to purge this world of hate and despair, granting its denizens nothing short of the ultimate mercy. Yes, genocide may sound cruel...or scary...but nature commits genocide all the time and I can think of nothing more innocent than nature. So let us be a force of nature that sweeps across the land. Annette, you've seen just how low we've all sunk in our depravity. Nimm, you've experienced just how cruel we've become in our avarice. Annette, you should be free to work on whatever you like, and so you shall. Nimm, you should be free to go wherever you like, and so you shall. That...is my end."

Migoto sat atop his perfectly made futon, eyes closed and arms out at his sides as he meditated. His face would reflect some strain, however, as though he were attempting something extremely difficult.

Nimm looked at Kain, brows raised in surprise. "You'll let her make a cure from your blood?" She asked, a bit suprised.

Annette nodded. "It would be beneficial. I do not enjoy this suit, to be honest. When can i start?" She asked, honestly a bit eager to create an immunity to the disease itself.

Nimm looked down at her hands, examining them as she thought it over. It was a lot to process. All her life she was told there was something wrong with her, that she was destined to die eventually from this disease, but yet she never did. And nature had given her the disease to start with, so if what Kain said was true then maybe....maybe it...she wasn't wrong. More than anything, she wanted out of her damn hospital room. She wanted out and to experience the outside. She wiped at her eyes finally, feeling them sting as they watered. "I'll do it." She finally said, looking up at Kain and nodding her head. "Please...I'll do it, if you let me leave me this place."

Annette crossed her arms, and nodded. "I as well. Theres more i can do then i am working on here. It would be a wasted oppurtunity if i stayed behind." She explained.

Risa watched him for moment, studying Migotos expression, unsure whether she should disturb him or not. She opted to stay quiet and shifted carefully, grabbing clothes from her bag and quietly walking to the bathroom to change. It would be a few minutes before she walked out again, wearing a black strapless jumper. This was the suit that changed with her scales when she was hiding. She crossed the room back to her bag and grabbed her hair brush, kneeling on her futon as she brushed out her hair.

Kain looked to Nimm with a warm smile. "We start immidiately. Current wound aside I am in prime condition, certainly enough to provide you both with the blood you need. Blood to save one from herself, blood to save one from the grips of entropic bliss. Just know my comrades, we are henceforth cursed. Death...is too good for us."

"Annette, we're going to use this unholy place as a base of operations, as previously stated. I want this facility run by you, myself as your benefactor. If there exists a soul alive in these halls you do not trust, mark them. I will do away with them promptly, the blame solely on my blades, not you." He'd place the hood back over his head, then hook his mask back on feeling almost naked without it these days.

"Nimm, you saw the ships at the docs, right? It's mine. It allows me to travel through the stars, and...it has more than one seat. Not only will you explore the world, Nimm, but you will swim through the stars." He'd reach out to gently place a hand on her knee. "You must learn to carry yourself, however. Tell me, how fluent are you in concentrating your gift? Is it merely by touch...or can you give it range?"

While he spoke, he had managed to remove the rest of his clothing from his torso, the varieties of healed, and healing wounds all on display. He figured this would make it easier for Annette to do whatever she needed in order to obtain his blood, in whatever quantity she needed to.

"Good morning, Risa. T would seem sleep found you well." Migoto spoke as his eyes closed. He shifted to sit on his knees, blinking a couple of times at her new outfit. "You look like you're ready to have some fun. Good. I did a psychic sweep of the city last night while I slept, and I found two peculiar things. The first is the unmarked ship at the docks...the second is the fact psychic signatures are mysteriously dropping at the hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital is too far away for me to peer into...so, what's the plan?" Risa may have noticed the dried blood around Migoto's nose, eyes and ears.
