"I'm sorry to hear that about your family, and cubhood.." she said quietly, looking down. Maybe Siku didn't have that many problems.. Quiet for a moment, she nearly jumped as he invited her along, looking up to Kiji again.
"I.. I'd love to!" She said excitedly, smiling and nodding in response. It was still mostly shock, really, at the idea of seeing the world beyond the pridelands. Looking off, she nodded again.
"Yes, I.. I.. it sounds wonderful!" Looking back, Siku nearly jumped from her spot. "Thank you eternally for the offer! I would love to join you!"

"Don't worry about it," he beams, not really caring about how he's had to spend his cubhood without much of a family- seeing Amoret once in awhile had been enough. He grins when she accepts his offer, looking even more excited.

"Great! It'll be so much fun to show someone else around," he says with a vigorous nod, "I haven't really travelled with anyone before, so it'll be new for me too."

Wow, this was such a sudden change in direction- what made him suddenly miss the lands beyond the pridelands? Describing it to Siku must have made him realize how much he missed a change of scenery. He doesn't even think about where they'll go, or when exactly they'll leave.

Nodding, Siku agreed. "Yes! And, I'll try to help.." she said quietly, looking to her paws. "I'm... not the best at hunting, but I will try! I promise!" Siku said, obviously more excited and relaxed then when they had first met. However, she paused a moment, quieting down and smiling. "A..and I may even become stronger, and run into my brother, to show him how much I've changed!"

"Good!" Kijibwa says with an affirmative nod, looking quite excited, "We can work on hunting, too- it's easy to get good at those things when you don't have a pride to do it for you. Or, I think so anyway."

He looks back and fourth between the way he'd come from and the way he'd been heading before, "Do you have to tell your mother and father, or just go?" His tone is a little more calm and curious, he doesn't know much about if children are supposed to tell their parents before they leave, never having had such experience.

"I don't think my brother told them," she admitted, looking out to the distance where Kijibwa's glance had fallen. "And, if they learn I'm taking care of myself, and getting to be stronger, I'm sure they'll be proud, if anyhing." Siku added, looking back to Kiji with a nod. "So I really do hope I can show them how much better I'll be!"

"Oh, all right then," he grins, "If you don't need to tell them, then we can go now. It's not so exciting right now though, 'cause I think we're quite a ways into the Pridelands. We just have to start working on that."

He turns himself right around, to the direction he'd come from.

"That way, you think?" He asks with a grin. They could go that way, but surely the Pridelands aren't endless and another direction would take them somewhere else that's new.

"Whatever direction you think would be best." Siku said with a nod, looking off in the same direction. "I've never been out to explore that far out, so you probably know more than I do."

Pausing, Siku thought for a moment, looking around the options of directions to go in. Lookin over to Kiji, she nervously shifts her position.

"Actually.. I.. I would like to see the jungle.." she said quietly, avoiding eye contact with him. "If.. it has as many trees.. as you told me.."

The looks thoughtfully all around, not saving any energy as he turns himself the whole way around as he looks. Kiji stops finally, ignoring a slight dizzy feeling, facing the direction he'd come from.

"Oook," he says with a grin, starting to wonder if all pridal lions are kept from exploring since Kiburi, Kiuma and Siku all seem[ed] eager to leave their home to see what else is out there.

"The jungle?" He asks, tilting his head, "That's a good idea! I know the way there best, anyway." He turns his head and smiles at her, not minding that she doesn't really look at him.

"Thank you!" Siku said excitedly, smiling softly and looking away, still having a hard time looking at him. She still wasn't very good at hiding how excited she was; her tail was lightly thumping the ground in anticipation, as she looked off in the direction of the jungle.
"It's going to be.. different now.. isn't it?" She asked, looking back to Kiji curiously. "From the life I'm used to..?"

"Well!" He puffs up a bit, his eyes looking off in the distance of the direction they would soon be going- nothing looks amiss to him, though in the past he has been caught off guard. Of course, they shouldn't have to be too careful in pride territory, especially with a pridemember no one would know is leaving.

"Different?" he glances back at Siku, "I guess you could say that, yeah. I don't think living with a bunch of lions in one place is much the same as when you keep moving and stick to yourself."

He pauses.

"Or with just one or two other lions," he grins at her, "It will be, I guess."

"..Maybe it's better that way." Siku said with a soft smile, looking back to Siku, before returning her gaze to the distance.

Rising from her sitting position, Siku kept an eye on the distance. "If you're ready to leave.." she said, the nervous tone returning to her voice, "..then I guess that I am as well."

Kijibwa nods at her, then turns himself to be in direct line of the way they want to go. He grins at her slightly nervous tone that doesn't quite match her eager words, "This way, then. We have to start somewhere, and this is where we start."

He nods matter-of-factly, tosses his head, and then takes a couple steps forward before making sure she moves along as well.

"J..just lead.." Siku said, seeing Kijibwa watching her, before taking a few steps to catch up. "I.. I may not be a strong hunter, but I can run well." She said, though timidly, not wanting to offend Kijibwa. "I'm ready."

Ooc|| My posts are growing shorter and shorter..

Kijibwa nods, "Alright, just making sure." He grins and turns back to the way he was going, this time picking up the pace as he moves from a walk to a jog- starting out slower is better now, for they won't get out of the Pridelands all at once.

(( Neh, that's ok XD Mine've shortened as well.

*pokes at your sig* o.o ))
