"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Laugh it up. I'm just out of practice is all." Wally ran his hands through his hair as he sat the controller down and stretched with a yawn right after. How long had they been at this? Wally asked himself as he checked his watch and shook his head at how much time he dedicated to a game rather than training or keeping up with the happenings within Central City. One moment he was in front of the TV and the next he was at the fridge, quickly emptying some of it's contents to prepare something to eat. His stomach was killing him and with a speedster's metabolism, it just wasn't healthy to go this long without filling his stomach with something. "Want anything, Bart? Figured I'd put something together before we went back out to patr-."

A news report on the radio caught both of the speedsters attentions. Trouble in New York, which meant The Titans were at the heart of it. Bart's eagerness to get out there completely ignored Wally's pleas to just for once in his life wait for back-up. "I'm getting nowhere with this kid." He shook his head in disappointment as his body begin to vibrate, his clothes changing from his civies into his red and silver Flash suit. Wally raced out of the building and wasn't far after Bart feeling the wind and resistance against him, watching the buildings pass him by. It was only a matter of time before he reached the Now Leaving Central City sign. "Flash to Nightwing. Wally to d**k, do you read me?" Wally called on the personal line to his friend. He hadn't the faintest idea why he wasn't responding. Given the track record of being a Titan, he wasn't about to rule out his friend being dead but for the sake of his own sanity, he wouldn't do so and kept his focus on the road ahead.

Wally sped into the streets of New York watching everything unfold slower than anyone around him could perceive. Fires raged on, people looked far more angrier than usual, even for New York. If he had to bet, it all had something to do with the moon and or the cryptic scenery that sat above Titans Tower. "Impulse, regroup. What are you seeing out here?" When Wally allowed time to catch up, the fighting continued where people swung at each other with questionably large pieces of debris and blunt objects. Wally raced through the crowd, tossing their weapons into a broken down, bent up pile. He turned on his heel and dove back into the crowd and ran around them all as he tied them down to light poles all across the streets. "Don't go anywhere." Wally joked trying to think of his next move. Conveniently enough Titans Tower resembled the video game he and Bart had been playing before they came out here. If it showed him anything it was to not set foot anywhere near any sort of place like that until they figured out how to bring it down. There was no use. Wally covered more city blocks along the way until he came across a literal inferno appearing in the middle of the street. "Never seen this guy. This is a boss battle if I've ever seen one before." Wally zigzagged up the street, dragging the civilians against their will to safe spaces inside of every apartment, store, and or establishment nearby and proceeded to provide makeshift locks to each and every one of the doors to contain them.

"They're clearly not in their right minds and neither are you, big guy. So why don't we all just cool it with the hellfire and brimstone or whatever. They talk things out where you're from, right?"

The Demon seemed amused how quickly Wally was able to save the mortals, but in the end Etrigan knew it mattered little for Trigon would come, and Etrigan`s best chance for power would be through the Crimson Lord. However the fact Wally didn’t try to fight with him but rather wanted barter with him intrigued. So for now the demon would entertain this mortal’s thoughts and responded back in Rhyme.

“Bargaining you speak of, it is true, it is something, we demons do. Insanity this spell, it may have brought. A clear mind I have, even if it may look not. For I’m being of chaos and entropy, so this spell now only powers me. So tell me mortal what have you to offer? Before I decide to make you all suffer.”
User Image

The armoured fiend then would await for Wally’s response as it gave him a sinister grin. However that grin faded and his look became stern as Etrigan became doubtful that Wally would have something to offer him especially with the impending doom that the Rhyming Demon’s grandfather would bring.

Brother Blood was at the peak of his power. He had achieved what no other had ever in the history of the world. From his disgraceful defeat at the hands of Nightwing and his companions, to now. The absolute culmination of his faithfulness to Trigon. Blood was no fool, he could sense them. More were arriving and had been made aware of his plans. He could feel their blood pulsating around their bodies. ❝Fools!❞ He cried out, ❝You're all too late. Rise, Lord Trigon!❞ A bright white light flashed before the eyes of Brother Blood, and the final screams of Raven echoed across the sky.

Blood now found himself standing in a grove with a barren atmosphere. He walked through it, and found puddles of blood staining the grass. Rain poured down upon him, but he did not feel cold. As he investigated a puddle of blood, he heard a whimpering. He followed the sound through the grove until he spotted someone lying on the ground. As he approached, their crying grew louder. It was Raven, who was curled up naked. ❝Monster... Stay away from me...❞ She pleaded as Blood stared down at her. A red sphere of energy emerged from nowhere, and caused Blood to take a step back. Above Raven, her father emerged out from the red sphere. ❝You knew that. You should have known - and now everything is beyond oblivion. Is it not so? You don't even know who you are anymore. You have defiled my daughter and yourself with this ritual.❞ Trigon spoke down to Blood, and with the cultist staring back at him, he stuttered, ❝I... I am...❞ He was cut off as Trigon spoke once more, ❝Even burnt by this magic, and your immortal soul now mine, you won't let your desire go? Must your soul burn on and on without ever knowing peace?❞ Blood spoke back, had anyone been there they'd be unsure whether they heard a man or a monster. ❝Still...❞ And with that, a smirk emerged on Trigon's face. ❝Just weak, just wicked, just ugly. You, the irredeemable, welcome at long last.❞

The black clouds that circled the moon exploded out, as reality itself suffered a huge tear. Ripping through this plane, he was manifesting here. Blood stared up, awaking from his daze to look upon the ghastly figure of Trigon the Terrible. Transparent as he continued to manifest, the doom of the world and indeed this universe, was at hand. Several of the cultists went to pick Brother Blood up, but he swatted them away with his arm. Fate and Raven were now free from the ritual, but their power almost completely drained and nearing death. ❝F-Finish them!❞ He let out a bloodcurdling command as his cultists drew their knives and edged towards them both.

Deep in the heart of the Amazon jungle in Brazil, the sensation of something terrible brewing had nagged at Diana for hours now. Something wasn’t right, and the ominous feeling made the air around her seem still and stale like the calm before a squall. The usual squabbling of rain forest birds and hooting, howling monkeys was replaced with deathly quiet.

Diana had been combatting the constant threat of rainforest poachers, whose illegal pillaging of the land was not only displacing the wildlife but the native tribes. She’d been staying with the Yanomami tribe and had her cheeks and arms painted with a paste of decorative ochre rouge, in her honor. The god-woman, who drove the bulldozers away. The husband of herself.

She stood out under the canopy of the trees, looked up and noticed a sickly pink cast filtering through the lush trees. What was it? She narrowed her gaze at the heavens and walked forward to find a clearing. Then she saw it, the red distortion of moon. Her breath caught in her throat. Suddenly, cries of rage began to boil from inside the huts around her. Rage was spreading, blow darts were flying and poison tipped arrows sought the throats of neighbors. Diana leapt into action to restore peace and disarm or disable the tribesmen.
Once the wildest among them were neutralized, bound or knocked out she launched herself into flight. Busting through the canopy of the forest in a burst of leaves, she began instinctively flying northward.
She attempted to communicate with J’onn after she’d pinged his location,

“I have seen the moon. I saw you’re active in New York. What is the situation there?” She feared the madness she’d seen in the rain forest may not have been isolated to that corner of the world. If it was, as she feared, in all the major cities then they would have their work cut out for them.

She waited for a response and received only a staticky growl of unbridled rage and the faintest fear-tinged calls of a familiar female voice. Kara.
This was the worst answer she could have expected. She pushed faster against the winds to reach them. She attempted to reach the caped crusader, Batman. He was the most emotionally neutral member of the league she could think of, and the world’s greatest detective.
“Tell me you know what’s going on. What is it that I am flying into?”

"No." Ordered Trigon the Terrible, his voice booming with a tone that demanded obeisance. Immediately, the cultist stopped dead in their tracks, brought to a halt not only by their god's command but by an invisible force that had taken hold of their bodies. Without uttering another word, the cultist had started to scream in ululating agony as that same force started to grip them tighter and tighter, their bodies starting to bruise and bleed. They screamed and howled as blood had started to spill from every orifice of their body as Trigon's magics twisted and contorted their bodies. Their pain was a form of worship in and of itself, so did his teachings go. Their horror held the same value as a prayer, and it served to empower the demon lord all the same.

Finally, the cultist bodies exploded violently in welters of blood that went in every direction. Their ruined remains fell to the floor, who they were or what they had looked like before all but impossible to tell. Yet such an atrocity was minor in comparison to what followed. Their ragged remains quivered and shook violently as their souls were literally torn from their bodies, pulled away with blue contrails of ectoplasma. In a single breathe, Trigon swallowed souls of his followers, further empowering himself and at the same them consigning their souls to a fate much worse than death.

The shade of Trigon took it's first steps into this world; born from agony and bathed in the blood of the cursed. The only one present to witness his glorious arrival being Brother Blood, Doctor Fate, Starfire, and his own daughter Raven. His daughter lay prone upon the ground, body and spirit ravaged by the full cost of the Ritual, Doctor Fate laying beside her in a similar state. His body tingled at the sight of the two, sensing their collective powers flowing through him. And then there was Blood. Brother Blood. His most loyal servant. The devouted follower, the Zealot, who had given wholly into him for the exchange of power that he truly was not worthy of wielding. Still though, the sorcerer had his uses, for was he not the one solely responsible for his arrival into this realm.

Yet, there was still much that he had yet to learn."They are mine, you miserable little wretch. Do not dare to steal my prizes." Trigon declared, raising a hand to point towards his daughter, the witch and the Lord of Order. Without a word, a darkness had started to pool underneath the two heroes. It spread itself out forming into a giant puddle of pure black, and as though made of water, the two had started to sink, dragged away into whatever madness Trigon had in store for them. The Crimson Lord still had great visions for the both of them, specifically his daughter, bound to him by blood.

Brother Blood would find himself suddenly re-invigorated, engulfed by a crimson aura of magic that had begun to infuse itself into his core. His strength , his speed, and his magical prowess would be further enhanced by Trigon's will, ensuring that he would become an even more powerful servant and to quell the threat of rebellion that would assuredly rise in the days to come. "Rise Brother Blood, for the enemy is within the Kingdom, and I would see to their utter annihilation."

What happens when you amplify the deep seeded aggression that more than half of Gotham's population harbored within them? Complete. Utter. Madness. Batman clung to a gargoyle high up and surveyed the streets below where all hell broke loose. He had seen this time and time again but this time was distinctly different. From what he could tell, all instincts were thrown out of the window. Logic appeared to be nonexistent and replaced with unbridled rage. It was increasingly barbaric. This was bigger than him and even he could realize that the problem lied elsewhere. He could feel his own mind falling victim to whatever witchcraft plagued the sky above. His indomitable will fought against the effects though he didn't know how long he'd have until he too was just a madman among other madmen. News casts all over the country were reporting about the incident at Titans Tower in New York City. Batman's first thought was to contact his sons who were undoubtedly on site but he was met with no response.

Batman did not hesitate as he signaled the Batwing to whip around the city and just as it came into view, Batman jumped from his perched position and into the open cockpit of the aircraft. It soared overhead and a little bit of Batman was unnerved by the fact that he was powerless to stop his city from descending into madness. "This is Batman." He confirmed his presence over the shared communication line with The Justice League. Wonder Woman specifically asked for him among the other members, leading Batman to wonder if the others had already succumbed so easily. "Unfortunately I know just about as much as you do, only that the point of origin is coming from the Titan's tower. I assume it's magical in origin. I haven't been able to reach Dr. Fate or any of my other contacts who might even have the slightest clue as to what we're dealing with here. I'm only a few minutes out. I'll rendezvous with you when I'm in the area." With a flick of a button or two, the Batwing was sent spiraling onward, picking up speed and fast.

He flew over several busy NY streets and just as he predicted, they were just as bad as Gotham, if not worse. The piles of traffic near Times Square was an all out warzone, including the main area up and down the street path. The Dark Knight pushed himself to keep going, veering through the tall skyscrapers. In and out he went until he reached the shore where the tower was just over the horizon. His solid white eyes took in ever detail of the the remnants of the tower, once the home to the group of adolescent heroes. Evil resonated from it and the barrier that he assumed was there to protect whatever was going on inside. The area below was littered with a plethora of heroes, supernatural beings, and civilians. From what he was able to infer, some were taking it easier than others. The Batwing flew right overhead J'onn and Supergirl's struggle with the loud roar of the rocket boosting his speed. "This is Batman to the Justice League. We're going to need all hands on deck."

The zealot watched in awe as Trigon claimed the soul of a cultist, and nodded in meek obedience to his Lord as he proclaimed Raven and Dr Fate his own to deal with. His servitude was rewarded at long last as he was baptised in the Red. Trigon had shown favour this day, and it was to the deserving - to Brother Blood! The power that pained through him brought a joy to Blood that could he could only express through a nightmarish scream. Taking the moment to revel in his power, he brought himself to the edge of the roof of the tower and with a tightened glare he scouted the city. That's when he saw a black aircraft dart across the sky of New York. With a gasp of air, Blood brought his hands and might towards his core, and after a moment he launched a dark red beam into the center of shield, and completely shattered it. ❝--And annihilate them I shall, Lord Trigon!❞ He affirmed as he lunged off the pinnacle of the tower - at speeds that rivaled even Superman, and towards The Batwing.

He landed with such force onto the aircraft, that its flight path was disrupted - but that was the least to come. Such was the strength of Blood now that he smashed his hands through the roof of it, and ripped an opening for himself to jump through. Even in seconds, Batman had been prepared to act - but Blood cast out red tendrils of crimson eldritch energy which immediately incapacitated the hero. They pulled the caped crusader towards the cultist, who in turn held a cruel and mutant grasp around his neck. As the tendrils dispersed with Batman now in his literal grasp, he lunged out of the aircraft with him in hand and into the skies above. The aircraft went spiralling into the ground below - the damage it would cause would be insignificant to what was to come. Blood was afloat in the sky, with Batman dangling by his throat. He turned his head to the struggling hero, and with a grin he began to gloat, ❝Witness him, Batman. Witness Trigon. You are far too late, he is already here.❞ His teeth round glistened through a ghoulish smile, ❝You were unable to save Raven and Fate - and even as we speak, your allies are turning on one and other.❞ He tightened his grasp on Batman's throat, to ensure that he would be unable to speak back - for he, along with all but Trigon, was now unworthy to speak to Blood. ❝Would I be correct in assuming your pitiful band of cretins are on their way? Of course I would be.❞ He laughed off, as if the League would even stand a chance against him. ❝They might have been able to survive for a minute or two, but you? You came alone? That wasn't brave, that was just idiotic. That was suicide.❞ His sickening grin turned to a bitter scowl, ❝You must be feeling at this point that this is rather personal. I assure you - it is. Your protege made a mockery of me once before, his sins are yours. Though killing Batman will bring me scant satisfaction. The heartbreak Nightwing will feel when he gazes upon your cowled corpse would not be enough. No.❞ Blood held Batman by one arm in front of him, as Batman would be finding it more and more difficult to breathe. ❝--No, he will have to gaze upon your dead and sullen eyes. Lifeless, and gray. He will have to feel the coldness of your face, the stiffness and decay already in motion. He will have to look upon not the face of Batman, but rather...❞ Blood raised his other inactive hand to the cowl of Batman slowly, as he was prepared to rip it off.

Amnesty Bay, Maine

The streets in the small coastal town were filled with citizens strolling about the docks with their children. Laughing and carrying on as they made their way down the wharf, ice cream cones in hand. Elderly fishermen sat on the edge of the dock, making a seat out of their coolers, where were usually filled with their bait, or their lunch. In the distance, the Amnesty Bay lighthouse stood over watch, closely monitoring the residents of the small town. It stood upon a large rock formation that overlooked the water below. A group of fishermen walked into the bar known as the 'Green Mermaid', tired and weary. It looked as if the group had been beat, the looks in their eyes indicating that the day was an utter failure. They approached the bartender and took their seats by the bar. They slowly plopped themselves down on the stools, adjusting their seats to face the television set in the top corner of the room.

"Shame what's happening out there in New York." the bartender stated, cleaning the inside of a glass with his white rag.

"Yeah. All those people storming the streets. Couldn't imagine what it would be like if that were going on here..." he replied, reaching for the pint of beer just poured.

In the corner listening, there sat a man with a glass of water and a plate of fish and chips in front of him. "I ain't never seen something like that before." the bartender and fishermen continued speaking. Everyone knew by now who he was. He brought the glass of water to his lips, the glass brushing up against his thick blonde beard, his eyes still fixed on the television set while his ears listened to the fishermen. He reached into his pocket and placed a couple dollar bills on the table and pushed himself out of his seat.

"Thanks Marco," he said as he walked out of the establishment, and to the calm waters brushing up against the rocks. A few birds flew overhead passing him as if they were running from something. Taking a long, good stretch he looked out to sea and to the awe of others nearby as he fearlessly flung himself into the waters. Kids raced over to see if the man survived his jump but only saw what looked to be a torpedo under water making a beeline heading east. In a matter of minutes, he arrived.

Out of the water now and walking on land, he scanned the area. Green mail covered his legs but his chest was bare. His blonde hair flowed behind him as he began racing into the fight, eager to stave off the evil that threatened the surface. In one hand he tightly held his Trident and cried out loud enough for Brother Blood to hear whilst taking a big leap toward Blood. "Ready yourself. By messing with this planet, you disturb my oceans, and that is something I will not allow." the King of Seas declared. He knew Batman was in Blood's grasp and by striking him, would cause for him to drop him, but he planned on catching him.

Blood had been knocked off guard by the trident wielding man who shot out of the ocean, and was struck by his attack. As Batman dropped, he watched as the figured dived after him. Blood was quick to retaliate, not letting either of them escape. Casting a spell, two red cages of energy formed around the two of them. He brought himself and them down to the ground where he began to gloat villainously, ❝I could have given you a heroic death, Batman, of glory by my hands. But now, you and your fish friend here shall serve as sustenance for Trigon - as penance for your sins!❞ He growled, ❝When we next meet in the Red, King and Knight will kneel as my servants.❞

Clark Kent, reporter for the Daily Planet, watched like everyone else as chaos ensued in New York City. In his ear he could hear Batman attempting contact as well as responders from the likes Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and his cousin, Supergirl. He was sure Lois would cover his tail in the case anyone asked where he had snuck off to but wasn't entirely worried about it. The people, his comrades, his friends needed him. And he wasn't about to let them down. With that he opened the jacket of his suit and with both hands pulled apart the nice shirt underneath, letting the buttons pull out of their cloth sockets one by one, only to reveal the red and yellow 'S' insignia that was hidden there.

Superman flew to New York at blinding speeds. He arrived so quickly that pockets of air crackled in his wake. He needed to save the other heroes but a single cry beckoned his attention elsewhere. There was a woman being backed up by three rage induced humans. She was on the top of a building, slowly backing up to it's ledge unknowingly. She was terrified and begged them to stay back. She stumbled on a heel and it snapped...and there was nothing she could do to stop what was happening next as she went free falling hollering loudly.

Thoughts like "was this it? am I really about to die?" raced through her mind as she fell. Floating a few inches above the windows that passed her, she watched the pavement speed towards her, and it was then she realized that she truly was about to die. Or so she thought. Falling and falling, the woman awaited the inevitable smash into the cars and asphalt before her. Closer and closer it came. Her face was but a few inches from the hood of a red Sudan, only a thin layer of air and glass separating her from it. The impact, however, never came. She had stopped falling and was now sitting confused.

Superman dashed to help more innocents who he heard cry out in need. He helped them and the only visible evidence left that he was ever there had been a blur. With as many people as he could save being safe now, he turned his priority to helping his fellow League members which in this case was Batman. He followed in the distance watching Batman with their enemy in sight...and another who appeared to be trying to assist. They were in cages and this made Superman speed up.

By the time he arrived, he seemed to have been interrupting some demonic sacrifice hearing Brother Blood say. ❝When we next meet in the Red, King and Knight will kneel as my servants.❞ to which Superman happily would inform. "Not on my watch." Superman said heroically, as a fist aimed for Blood came attempting to knock him into and through several nearby buildings.

Titan Tower was the new objective, and Wonder Woman sped through the red sky like a bullet, distorting the air around her as she ripped through it. As she closed in on the city and the buildings became larger and larger on the horizon, she focused her divine powers through her bracelets. The steadily increasing charge of her power sent small licks of electric lightning flickering around her form as she followed her colleague into the fight. She meant the attack for J’onn if it proved necessary.

Then, they came into view. Aquaman and Batman held in agonizing captivity by the sorcerer of terror that was Brother Blood. As she closed in at breakneck speed with seconds to spare, she could also see, as few mere mortals could, the red and blue blur that was Superman as he crashed his fist into Brother Blood.

“Thank Eleos, great goddess.”

She decided to empty the full force of Aegis energy at Blood to combine her attack with Superman’s. If the devastating impact of his iron fist wouldn’t be enough to hobble him, she hoped, this would. With a clash of her bracelets she released the full charge of the holy Aegis following after Blood for a one-two hit. A resounding shockwave lit up the night sky around them with an atomic flash.

Her attention was caught by a sharp whine and a scraping sound caused by the Batwing swiping against the side of a building below and knocking out the glass from its windows. The Batwing was spiraling below the fray and would eventually, she knew, soon crash and possibly kill civilians. She couldn’t let that happen, no matter how crazed or violent they had now become. With divine reflexes, Diana lassoed the Batwing and held it aloft with her awesome strength.
She looked around for the still captive heroes.

“How do we release them?”

Kory's reckless idea to grasp Nightwing's attention would be her downfall. It was only when the two mad eye contact that Blood soon noticed her. The Tamaranean gasped and turned to fly away but was caught in an invisible hold. She felt her body writhe in an unimaginable pain and she screamed in agony for dear life as she gripped the sides of her head. It felt like each and every one of the cultists took turns with a knife and went to peel away her burning orange skin. She fell to the top open and exposed floor of the tower and onto her knees, one palm flat on the floor and the other on her temple. Her fiery hair trailed on the ground and the people closest could hear her voice go from ragged and worn to sinister and full of evil. When she looked up her two eyes were now a set of four that glowed a bright blood red instead of the usually solid emerald green and her skinned deepened in color into more of a hushed burgundy.

A devilish grin draped over her mouth and her tongue was split down the middle and was much longer than normal. "Hail Trigon." The possessed Kory shrieked in what could sound like two tones, the innocent and the wicked. She shot herself into the air and spun around the tower like a tornado in a ball of red and green twisted energy. Having seen where Nightwing last was, she smacked her hands together and when she pulled them apart, a large sphere of energy appeared and she launched it towards the open space. The resulting explosion rocked the tower and when Kory touched down on the floor to confirm the kill, her fists slammed at a fallen wall crumbling it down to find there was not a single trace of Nightwing and it wasn't her doing.

"Nightwing to Titans. I'm directly under Brother Blood now. I'm going to blow the roof out from under him."

The demonic Koriand'r reached for her ear instinctively, as if she never knew her communicator was there in the first place but the tip was nice all the same. She flew up into the sky and then b-lined back towards the floor underneath the tower sending a flurry of dark red and green star bolts in all directions to snuff out the threat. She had one loaded up, floating in her just in case that didn't do the trick. "Come out, come out, wherever you are, handsome." Koriand'r hovered along in the dark with the area lit only by her starbilt.

It had been some time since Roy heard back from Cyborg, Damian, and whoever else had the unfortunate grace of falling from grace out the tower and down to some of the ground levels below. There was only a few things of which he could put up with and waiting was one of those things. He reached in his pocket to pull out the floor plans of the Titans HQ itself. Why on earth would he ever need such a thing in the first place? Well, it never hurt to always survey your surroundings, no matter how safe and secure it appeared. Given their last run-in from the invasion on their Tower, Roy had every right to stay prepared. As a result, he knew a way to get up to the top floor when hearing d**k try and reach out to them.

"Cyborg, Brat Wonder, I'm going up. If you're both still out here somewhere, find a way to get up there. Sounds like s**t show is taking place."

Naturally, he wasn't insulting Damian by calling him that. Even in this dire situation, he could find it in himself to make a casual joke before getting down to business and when he kicked that cigarette butt to the curb, he was all about the business. He looked through the hole he crashed through upon the attack and took that as the first measure to begin his ascent. Chances were the elevator was busted, but he'd never need it when he found himself opening the doors to it. All he needed was a secure path and the rest would solve itself. Roy was missing a party and well, he came to deliver quite the big bang. He hummed to himself while attaching another arrow by the nock to his string, aiming it upwards and firing it. Wherever it landed, it was high enough for it to shoot down the rope that came with the trick arrow and Roy as a result, gripped the thick twine and began putting his muscles to work to start climbing up.

He was behind on a lot of things, clearly. When arriving, well, it seemed like some of the Justice League were right outside of the Titan's Tower, dealing with Lord knows what, though if he had to take a guess, it had a lot to do with Brother Blood and whatever madness was beginning to take place with Nightwing making his announcement to blow things up. This, of course, being done only after another powerful rupture went throughout the tower itself, sending Roy against the wall for support as a result. There were traces of a very familiar power source being a culprit behind the tremor itself.

"Gee, Grayson. What you do to her this time? Not eat her Mustard Mushroom Surprise Casserole?"

Starfire was pissed, but he hadn't the slightest clue if she was either fighting someone else or if this was just some odd Lover's quarrel that decided to take place right during the apocalypse. As he got closer to the next floor however, almost everything began to make sense. Grayson was hiding and well, one Koriand'r was out playing It in their game of Hide n' Seek. Even her voice just sounded outright terrifyingly terrible.

"Kory," he said with a whistle before opening his comm up once more. "Looks like you've seen better days. Whatever you have planned Grayson, I'll buy you some time."

With that said, he spun an arrow around in his hand. He didn't want to hurt her, but if it came down to it where it was between him or her, she must have been tripping heavy balls if she thought he was picking her over himself. Fortunately, he knew her abilities and she could surmise in her demonic mind that she knew he was just a simple man. A simple man with a huge set of trick arrows, complete with one rather nasty one to boot that he would not have to waste on the likes of her. Something that rendered her unconscious, cooled her down and slowed her momentum would suffice. But, for good measure, he would get everything started off with shooting an arrow directly above her that when it's head exploded, thick caltrops made for piercing would begin to fall and not just that itself, but to also send some of the ceiling panels itself down upon her. That was if he was lucky. Either way, it would distract her.
