With her assistant builder starting on the designs, Alma was off to the races. First was the rock pile! A brick house could hardly be a brick house without any bricks!
That was just common sense.
With her pile, she started the real magic. Careful hands shaped the banded rocks into stone bricks. Everyone created was uniform in size and shape but had some variation by nature of the banded building material. After every two bricks, Alma darted over to the building site. Seven trips at normal speed then slowly each trip got slower. Twenty trips later and Alma actually slowed down. Walking instead of flying, Alma walked carefully, arms full of hand made bricks.

Ros vaguely recalled taking a break for lunch and then getting right back to the business at hand, finishing up her sketch of the layout and then turning to helping stack the stones for the walls. Eventually, though, it became apparent that even Alma, with all of her speed and vast energy, could also get tired. Pausing, Roslyn stood up straight and stretched, holding her arms up over her head and standing on tiptoe. Letting out a satisfied sigh, she settled back down onto her feet and noticed for the first time how low in the sky the sun had gotten.
"Oh goodness, where did the time go?" she wondered aloud, turning to Alma. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but it's starting to get a bit late and close to dinner time. Maybe we should stop for today and pick up where we left off tomorrow..?"EvilSilverDragon Leaving it open so you can respond if you'd like, but otherwise wrapping up and assuming that they went back and did the thing :3
