Aleks would stand up straight, holding his midsection a bit. However he would quickly keep the match going, pressing Matt back into a set of ropes, before grabbing his hand and attempting to Irish Whip him into the opposite set of ropes.

Matt was grabbed upon and would be Irish-whipped to the opposite ropes, coming back to Aleks Mason off the rebound!

With Gennison running back towards Mason, he'd attempt to hook his arm and plant him down on the mat with an arm drag

Coming back to Aleks Mason, Matt would be taken down to the canvas with the arm drag flipping over!

Mason would keep a hold on Matt's arm as they both came down to the mat. Mason would get to his feet, continuing to hold the arm, before attempting to send a knee to the back of his opponent.

While still in the clutches of Aleks Mason, Matt would receive the knee to the back with his arm still mounted, letting out another groan!

Continuing his hold on the arm of Matt, he'd attempt to leg drop down onto his arm, trying to weaken them to prevent a certain move later on in the match.

Matt's arm would be leg dropped upon, as he would then roll away towards the center favoring his shoulder! the referee would step in asking Matt if he was fine, with Matt agreeing to saying yes.

Mason would push the referee away from Matt, grabbing onto Matt's arm and attempting to bring him up to his feet.

Matt was brought up to his feet by Aleks Mason, trying to think of a strategy on what to do for the time being.

Mason would attempt to lock on a wrist lock, before pulling Matt in and attempting to shoulder block him

Matt would brought up and placed into a wrist lock, but when he would be brought in for what appeared to be a shoulder block, he would look to quickly transition behind Mason and pull him under for a roll up, placing his shoulders to the mat!

Mason would be in panic as his move was reversed, placing him in the first pinfall of the match. As he heard the referee slam his hand down to the mat twice, he would kick out!

After the kick out at two which would be expected, Matt would've used that as a wear down tactic, but at the same time expected to try and get a quick one out of Aleks Mason. Matt would then get to one knee, shaking his shoulder out a bit, before standing up to his feet once more!

Mason would get to his feet, trying to figure out a plan to not end up in a similar position while he turned towards Matt.
