How much about Lesath's personal feelings on her departure did Navi feel comfortable sharing? How much did Lesath want to put behind her? She was going to have to tread carefully through this answer. "Because she's one of my best friends. She understood what I was going through, and she knew how much Chaonis and I loved each other. She was there, helping to rescue me from Painite." Her lips pressed into a thin line, musing for a moment, her memories twisted and disconnected. Gaps that didn't align with what she remembered of her civilian life. Two halves of a whole that didn't fit together anymore.

Trying to piece them together always gave her a bit of a headache, because the more she tried to arrange the timeline of events, the harder it got to recall specifics, and no one matched from powered to civilian life anymore, not like Chaonis and his family did now. She got to keep her memories, all of them, but they were scattered and confusing.

Focusing on the Negaverse was a little easier. Navi nodded to the question. "After Ares gathered enough of us to make a proper court an alliance as struck up between us and the Negaverse. Essentially, we were o the same side, they were supposed to leave us be, and we we meant to stay out of their way. For a while it worked out, though there were a small handful of people on either side that didn't follow those rules." She shifted her head, hand coming up to sweep her hair over her shoulder to show off the long scar on the side of her neck. "Painite, for one, is just crazy and violent." She let the hair fall back into place. She had numerous other scars from the general, but they'd been made after the alliance had been broken, and really, Navi didn't feel like going over all of it again.

"I think it all fell apart when some of our wraiths escaped our control and ran a muck, but I'm not positive on that. It was a while ago, and I was dealing with my own issues at the time."

"Hmm. So Lesath allowed it. She never so much as breathed your name to me, never mentioned you. I wonder why, since revealing an ally would be important to trainees like myself. I should like to know who is and who isn't sympathetic, so I don't go making grievous mistakes. You have my apology."

And a mental note to ask Lesath about all of this. What else am I missing? Or is that information only meant for those higher in power?

...I need to train more.

She didn't angle her body towards Navi, but did turn to look at her more fully. Still stiff and rigid, Logos had a great many questions and a healthy respect for someone two ranks her senior. "Painite. Who is that? I don't think I've run into many Generals except in passing, and I give them a wide berth on my patrols. I don't recall ever speaking to one face-to-face. What does she look like, so I can keep myself alive?" Logos made a mental note of the wraiths as well. She only had the one, and while she understood it was an alien entity, it hadn't escaped her control.

One more thing to be mindful of. Like a weapon in the military, one needed precise, confident control over their tools.

"Since you left for this man Chaonis, what does he look like? Is he an ally as well?"

She couldn't say she was entirely surprised that the royalty and more senior members of the court hadn't mentioned her much if at all to the newly awakened. Thy might not have harbored her ill-will, and still counted her as a friend and ally, but she was a cautionary tale, and the idea of senshi shedding their dark mirror lives for new ones frightened them. "I'm sure it's still hard on her. We were very close, and even though she supported my choices, It can't be easy on her."

They might have all been unwitting soldiers in this celestial war, but that didn't negate their very human thoughts and feelings.

"I can give the names and basic descriptions of a few others I know to be non-confrontational to your court, if you'd like." Her entire new family, to start.

Lips pressing again, Navi tried to keep herself from frowning too severely at just the mention of Painite. She'd brought the general up, and knowing to avoid her was certainly a good idea, but she still hated the woman with every fiber of her small being. "She's not physically imposing. A smaller woman, almost petite, with short brown hair and a brown and cream uniform. She carries a spear as a weapon. If you see someone like that, do yourself a favor and run to the nearest mirror. She is crazy, and violent." An understatement, in her opinion.

"And Chaonis..." her features softened as the conversation slid in his direction. A small smile blooming on soft lips. "He's tall, fit. Brown hair, dark eyes, trimmed facial hair. His fuku is plastic armor and caution tape. Ally might be a strong word, but he won't harm anyone from the court so long as they don't initiate violence towards him." There was a small thoughtful pause before she continued. "If you're in trouble, and happen to cross his path, mention me and I think he would protect you."

We were very close, and even though she supported my choices, It can't be easy on her.

Logos stayed quiet for a few moments, part of her brain wandering to consider what Lesath might have said and felt in the moments leading up to one of her own turning traitor and leaving. But... could Navi still be considered a traitor if she was an ally to the Court? Maybe not an ally, but not an aggressive enemy. She nodded to the offer of descriptions of those at least neutral to the Dark Mirrors.

The description of Painite was filed away for later. "Duly noted. I would appreciate names and faces, so I don't cause undue harm to the Court by mistakes. I am Logos, by the way. I'm Lesath's trainee, though I do train with Acubens on occasion. Did you know her as well?"

Plastic armor seemed even stranger than the overly fancy getup she'd been stuck with, though plastic would give more protection from blunt force and sharp implements... hmm. "Also noted. I don't think I've seen anyone with plastic armor, so he should be easy to spot." Her brows furrowed at the thought of requiring protection. "If I need protection, then I'm doing something wrong. Lesath mentioned I would rise in the ranks if I continued to train. Someday, I won't need any protection."

This was better. Logos might not have been exactly comfortable sitting beside her, but she was sitting, and they were talking. It was infinitely preferable to the apprehension and fear that had been rolling off the younger senshi in waves up to this point.

Navi nodded, an odd little smile playing over her lips. "I don't really interact with her much by the time she'd joined us, there was too much going on..." Her life had been so chaotic. "But I knew Acubens before she joined the court. We crossed paths on occasion, I kept trying to talk her into joining. Eventually one of us got through to her."

The smile faded at that odd bit of twisted logic, and the eternal shook her head. "You're never above the need for protection, not in this life. I was an eternal when Painite took me. It's not always about skill or training, anyone can be ambushed or out numbered."

We can probably wrap soon!

"Ah, so Acubens wasn't an original member. She had joined later. She neglected to tell me that."

Not that it really mattered in the grand scheme of things, but Logos preferred to know who she was working for and what she was working with. Though... the past of her superiors wasn't really any of her business. Still, Acubens could have made some enemies before the switch. If it were that important, Acubens would have mentioned it previously.

It was none of her business. The politics of the Court were more distractions than anything else, and she had a job to do - trainee or not.

You're never above the need for protection, not in this life.

Navi had a point. Logos logged that tidbit of information in her mind for later. "...probably. Working alone is always dangerous, to a point. I'd like to think I've gotten a few steps ahead of someone else at my level, with the training I have as a civilian. I imagine that would come in handy in case I ran into this Painite."

Navi shook her head in confirmation, wondering if Acubens wasn't in the habit of discussing her roots with the newer members of her own court. And if she wasn't, why? It seemed like a good story of experience that spoke to the merits of joining the Dark Mirror.

How large had it grown since she'd started distancing herself from them? How large was it now? The redhead remembered when there was only a small handful of them. When they'd truly been a family. At a certian point that feeling had begun to fade, even if she still held onto her love for those original few. It just wasn't as close knit and intimate as it used to be. How could it be?

"Maybe, but she's crazy, and not afraid of getting hurt if it means getting in close." Navi shuddered. "Please don't under estimate her. If you see her, run for the nearest mirror."

Fin~? Logos has a LOT to think about. >_>;

"I'll keep that in mind. Painite isn't one to tussle with. I'll inform the rest of the Court, just in case they are as ill-informed as myself."

With a short sigh, Logos' head was full of information she did not have at the start of the night. She now knew who to look out for, and who to watch out for. Who were enemies and who might be allies - or, at least, sympathizers. Navi, as powerful as she was, held a place in her heart for the Court, and that would be incredibly important for the future.

Standing up, Logos dusted off her all-too-colorful overlay. The trainee turned and nodded respectfully to Navi. "Thank you for the information. It's... eye-opening, to say the least. There's still much I do not know, and more time I must take for training. Have a pleasant evening. Perhaps we will see each other again in the future."

With energy to deliver, Logos made her way back to the mirror through which she arrived, new missions already forming in her head.

Navi rose to her feet a moment after Logos did, palms moving automatically to her skirts to pluck them back into place, settling ruffled fabric into pretty lines once again.

She smiled at the dark mirror as she looked back at her again. "You're welcome. I hope it comes in handy." She really did. Logos seemed like a sweet girl, if a bit overly confident and ambitious. Navi remembered being that young and eager to please, and she also remembered getting herself into any number of stupidly dangerous situations as she tried to prove herself.

"Please take care of your," she called after the departing senshi, lifting a hand to wave as she melded back into the darkness.
