" He really didn't think he could rely on the village ninja. Not like he could have normally. The only two he could think of that would actively be of use were Tetsuhiko and Zhi. He hadn't seen Zhi and Tetsuhiko had been working with Chie, the one who reported his blonde companion in the first place.

Taylor paused before he answered. There was a look of confusion on his face. "I thought the plan was that I would tag along with you?" He asked. He thought he already agreed to join Masato on a quest to find and contain these demons. Although he admittedly knew little about these demons, his only glimmer to the past at this point aside from Horus was Masato. Therefore, tagging alongside Masato made the most sense. "I suppose though before I do, that I should deal with my current alliance with Kogarashi." Taylor's voice felt hollow when he said the word alliance, even though he did partially mean it. He was grateful to Takumi for saving him and bringing him to Uzu. However, if the report he heard was correct then the man was desperate to gather recruits. Taylor suddenly understood why it was so easy for him and Kagami to become members of the organization. He turned back to Masato. "Based on the information you have, do you think Uzu will launch an attack on Kogarashi?" Taylor said. If there was a perceived threat to the group then Taylor owed it to the members to inform them.

Masato nodded. " Tie up any loose ends. I'll even take you back to Gimangakure. " the Uchiha offered. Taylor, knowing Masato for so long would surely notice the difference. He was educated now. Still quite rough around the edges with his disposition but he was now a bonafide ninja, not some brawling punk with super powers.
Masato would reply simply. " No. Academy students won't have any village secrets. Not like their going would threaten the village." He huffed. " Let's see what the fuss is about." His Mangekyo would glow neon red as the swirling dimmension around them began to unfold. They would find themselves standing in Gimangakure as they would emerge....

When Niko arrived, she saw the lead investigator and Ryota standing there talking. She approached them with a question. "Sesnsei, what seems to be the issue here?" Hisashi followed behind as well. "Ah Red. Didn't even give us time to do anything did he? It appears this building is owned by the Don as well. Someone reported a group of men casing this place. They weren't sure what they were doing but it looked up to no good." The lead investigator then joined in as well. "We have few men stationed here but I doubt anything will happen if they stay. I think that's a good thing." Niko shook her head.
"I think it better to lay a trap here. Is there anyway you can pull your men out? I think I have a plan..." Niko went on to explain the plan. The lead investigator and Ryota both nodded and agreed. Niko would lie in wait here for the group to show back up. When they did, she would surprise them and try to get as much info as she could out of them.
"Not a bad play Red." Ryota nodded in full agreement. "Yeah I'll have them all pull out. We'll return tomorrow morning. Hopefully they don't attack but if they do I trust you to handle it." The lead investigator smiled and went to go get his men. Then, with a small goodbye, Niko took to a nearby tree. Hisashi would hide in the bushes below and wait for the signal.
Niko would lie in wait in the tree for the men to show up. The sun was going down, so this would be the prime time for them to start preparing for the assault. Niko wasn't sure how, but they would come to trash this building soon. Niko prepared herself and Hisashi as well. Soon the sun had fully set.
Niko was in the tree for quite sometime until she saw small movements. They were subtle, swift and silent. Niko knew it could be only one thing. "Shinobi..." Judging from the noise and how long it took Niko to realize, she believed them to be around C rank. They were still pretty green though. They must've been like her, shinobi for hire. She counted three. This wasn't going to be easy. Then, it came in so quickly and quietly.
A large fire ball came flying at the building. Niko had no choice but to reveal herself to stop the fireball. She grabbed the Yamakagashi and snapped it, coiling the whip hitting and dispersing the fireball. Niko had to quickly get back on guard when a kunai came flying at her from the left. There was also another from the right. Niko quickly activated her electric field dropping the kunai to the ground. "A Hatake?! Be careful!" It seemed her reputation preceded her. The man who yelled came in with a small ninja blade. He slashed at Niko, but Niko quickly countered with crescent block and knocked the knife out of his hand. Niko was going to knock him out when she noticed another attack coming at her. It was a decapitating air wave. Niko had no way to counter without an Uchiha art. With no choice, she used the shield of the storm god to block the attack. The last man came in for an attack when Niko had enough. She had two men close enough to her so she activated her Chidori Nagashi to land a hit on both. They were down, but not out. Niko did buy some time to get the drop on the one who fired the air wave. She quickly came up behind him with a shunshin and hit him with a hilt thrust to the back. He went flying into the wall and was knocked unconscious. The two men saw this and knew they were outmatched. Just then, Hisashi burst from out of the bushes. He intimidated the men into running away. After a quick smoke bomb, they were gone. Niko sighed as she tied up the remaining man.
Niko would wait with the tied up man until morning. Not to long after, Ryota and the lead investigator came back. "Good job Red. I knew we could count on you." Ryota took the man into custody. There were going to get some info out of him, that was a fact. Whether the info was going to be what they needed or not was the real question. Niko had done good work here last night. She was tired, but still ready for the upcoming battle. "We'll take it from here. Why don't you go rest a bit? You look tired." Niko nodded as she went home to sleep.
