Griselda could not have known how much destruction took place at City Hall. It has not fallen, but there is plenty of debris. What caused this destruction? Surely that is a question among those who have heard what occurred, especially those directly impacted by it. A crowd of people have gathered, all of them trying to figure out what happened. The guards are trying to keep the peace, disperse the crowd and help those who were injured or lost. A small boy crying as he was looking for his parents sent Griselda into immediate action by making her way to the boy and doing her best to calm him down while promising him to find his parents. She asked him for details about his parents, such as what clothes they were wearing, the color and length of their hair, the last place he seen them, and so on. Of course, in his current emotional state, he could not clearly answer all of her questions, but so long as Griselda stays with him and be on the lookout for parents looking for their lost child, all should be well. Fifteen minutes was spent staying still and being on the lookout before she spotted a couple who were looking for someone. She spoke to the boy and asked him if they are his parents. He confirmed that they are his parents, so she walked with him toward the couple. Once the mom spotted the two of them, she immediately began running toward her child, the boy doing the same. The two embraced each other when they met, both of them crying happy tears. The father soon joined them after thanking Griselda for keeping an eye on their son. Griselda felt good not only for helping the boy, but for the fact that his parents are still alive. Turning her attention to City Hall again, she wonders when an explanation will be given.

The commotion around City Hall was already getting out of hand, as the crowd continued to grow larger and larger. It seemed that everything was finally calming down, as the guards and several civilians ran about to help each other out. More and more of the city guard had shown up to report and protect, and the crowd was finally slowly starting to dissipate. With everything returning to normal, no one could have predicted what would suddenly take place. None could believe their eyes as the entire south side of City Hall suddenly erupted into a massive explosion that shredded the entire building into debris and shrapnel that shot across the skies, sending burning chunks of stone and concrete out into the city itself. The force that would generate from the building's explosion would knock everyone off of their feet, pushing them back and away from the building, and into the surrounding walls and gates, and the smoke and dust literally blacked out the sun as it rained fire upon the city.

Control of the population was going smoothly. People have their concerns about what is going on inside City Hall, but they have to let the guards do their jobs. However, this will not come to pass. Before people, including Sarai, were knocked off their feet. She did not know what happened at first. She was standing by a wall, and whatever knocked her off her feet caused her to slam against the wall. Fortunately she did not get injured, although the parts of her body that were already injured in her previous battle did hurt. It did take her about ten seconds for her to get back up and register what happened. A massive explosion erupted at City Hall, particularly at the south side of it. People are hurt, confused, and in a state of panic. As much as she wanted to go inside City Hall and uncover what is going on, now her crowd dispersion job turned into one of rescue. First, she helped out any guard that were still on the ground get back on their feet and instructed them to help the civilians who were in danger. Then she proceeded move debris around and provide assistance the best she can, including calling out to anyone with medical expertise.
