Even if it was possible for Hydor to find this knowledge elsewhere--he did not know if it was--he was writing it all down in the phone's notepad anyway. He did not believe what was happening around him, but that did not mean that he shouldn't armor himself with knowledge. Especially since the information about the Dark Mirror Senshi did match up with what he had seen already. It offered more of an explanation than what he had been able to find thus far, at the least. Pluto had knights but was a dwarf planet, but other dwarf planets like Ceres and Eris did not. That was interesting. He had no idea why that might have been, except for maybe the fact that the senshi of Pluto had become one of these so-called 'Princes' or 'Princesses' in the same way that Ganymede and Polaris likely had. He noted them down. "Do the Senshi Royalty claim leadership over this faction?" Otherwise, why would they be using such titles? He had no interest in following any leader of any sort, but he figured it was worth knowing anyway. Perhaps to know who to ignore. When he mentioned that Corrupted Senshi were just "corrupted" versions of themselves, and visa versa, he seemed interested. He assumed that was the same case with the Negaverse and the Knights, if they also used similar weaponry. It would make sense. Were they just two sides of the same coin, then? That sounded like some Dungeons and Dragons alignment chart nonsense... "Can the same thing occur with the Dark Mirror Senshi, or are they their own thing?"

Bernard lied down, now very tired and feeling his stomach rumbling a bit more. He wanted to give this senshi all that the boy needed to know, as he felt that some guardian cats were a bit light on the info, it was exhausting him a bit, and he had to lie down to save his energy for right now. He waved a paw lazily in the air. "No, they may have their own knights but they are more just extremely powerful senshi to look up to rather than claiming leadership. Though if you want to think of them as the 'top dogs' then you can. They hardly interact with anyone though and don't seem to be that active, though that depends on which one you're talking about." Which was slightly annoying.
Bernard often wondered if he could get in contact with any of them and perhaps persuade them to actually help with coordinating the various senshi, rather than letting them run around like they had to. There were various groups of course, but so far, the Negaverse, to Bernard, seemed to be a lot more organized than they were!
"From what I have read and heard about the Dark Mirror, Dark Mirror can't be corrupted, as I assume they are already under some form of corruption. But they can be purified into a White Moon senshi. After that though, but I haven't seen this myself, they could possibly be corrupted then. After all, quite a few corruptions are forced." This conversation was bothering him. That was because it reminded Bernard about the fact that guardian cats had been corrupted too, and whether or not they were happy with it, he felt that somewhere they used to all be with the same faction. To now have to work for the other side...
Bernard looked up at Hydor. "Any more questions?" He asked the senshi, his fur-stache curling. Now that he was laying down, Bernard could feel a bit of his energy come back. It was hard to sit up!

So they did not claim leadership? That was interesting. It was also a relief, admittedly, as he had no interest in following someone else's whims for his life as an apparently magical person from space. ... Ugh. The most interesting portion was the fact that they seemed so powerful, and yet so barely present. What was the point, then? Did the power make them too busy with other s**t to actually do anything related to interacting with people? That sounded... pleasant. Perhaps he should aim for that. "So they are powerful, but do not claim ownership of the faction. Noted. Does anyone claim ownership or leadership, or is it simply a free-for-all?" The Dark Mirror could be swapped into other factions too, then. He wondered how often these faction swaps happened. Were they common? Did one faction offer more than another? What motivated the switches? Bernard was implying switches to Negaverse or Dark Mirror could be forced. If this was the case, why did they leave any of them standing? It implied they were stronger than them, somehow, or perhaps the Negaverse only found motivation in eating souls, not changing them. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. If he had noticed Bernard was tired, he was not acknowledging it, though he did seem to be running a bit low on questions. It was unfortunate. He knew he had more. "I suppose I do wonder one more thing. Why did you power me up now? If I supposedly possess an alien soul, that has not changed from birth to age twenty."

Bernard once again put a paw on his chin in contemplation. "Yes... there is an overall ruler over the Negaverse. Metallia is her name. I would watch out for her, though I would watch out for any agent really." The feeling of his stomach was starting to eat at him, a large growl coming from it, demanding to be filled.
Bernard wanted to say it was because the feeling would have never gone away unless he had awakened the senshi, but instead tried to explain it as best he could. "There is a need of you within the White Moon. I don't exactly know what it is yet, but we need you, and other senshi to fight back against chaos. It wiped out most of the life in the entire universe once, if it were to get enough power to do it again..." It would probably lead to a void of nothingness. He wasn't quite sure what the motivation was behind killing everything out there, but people didn't deserve to be destroyed just because chaos decided that it wanted to. "People should be allowed to live their lives. And we have a duty to protect them and... with more and more senshi coming back, we can also learn more about the past, perhaps to the point that we could find some uses or technology or whatnot that we could use to improve things here on Earth."

Metallia. Noted. It sounded like their faction did not have any real leadership, which was honestly alright with Hydor. It was probably part of the reason why Metallia and her lackeys had managed to do so well--no one was actually manning missions for the so-called "White Moon" and creating a true counter-offensive--but Hydor did not have any interest in being bossed around randomly in some war that he had never asked to be part of. Although, he supposed it was his birthright, if he was born with a soul from another planet. The idea of being needed was honestly alarming; Hydor did not particularly like the idea of anything needing his presence. Being needed by anything had a history of not going well. Awkwardly, he pulled at his collar, but did not say anything directly related to the idea of being 'needed.' Instead, he focused on the second portion, about killing everything in the entire universe. He supposed that let him know the scope of the Negaverse's reach. "Hm. Interesting. I suppose it would be good to stop them from destroying everything. We do all live here, after all." His attempted smile was awkward and grim, and it seemed like he was trying to be friendly but, likely, utterly failing. He let the smile fade after a few seconds. It felt uncomfortable. "Can I contact you via the phone if I have any other questions?"

Bernard could tell that the senshi was uncomfortable with the task that was just laid upon him. Bernard didn't blame him. After all, he would have been perfectly happy to be a normal, overly-spoiled kitty for the rest of his life, but no, he just had to awaken and then he had to go and start awakening senshi... life just wasn't fair sometimes.
"It's a lot I know. You don't have to do anything for right now. In fact, there are quite a few senshi who aren't as active as others. A lot of them concentrate more on their civilian life more than their powered. This power is what you want to make of it. No one can force you to do anything with it." Bernard said in reply, giving the young man a small smile of encouragement. Bernard wouldn't judge.
But it was late, and Bernard had to get home, and it seemed that the conversation had come to a close. He stretched out as much as he could, which wasn't a lot considering how much of his stomach touched the ground, and addressed the senshi one last time. "Yes, you may. I don't mind answering questions, though sometimes it might be a little bit until I get back to you. But don't fret. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can." He checked his communicator once a day at least. Even if Bernard was incredibly lazy, he couldn't stand the fact that he could have done something to help if one of the senshi that he had awakened had called him in a panic and he had just ignored it.
He turned and started to walk away, not very quickly at all. "I would suggest you get a good nights rest if possible! And think about this more tomorrow!" He said over his shoulder, before heading off again in the direction of his house, glad that he could finally go and do what he wanted to do most right now, eat.Seiana_ZI I am so sorry for taking so long to get back to this! You can consider this my end quote (unless you want to continue it). Thanks so much for the rp!

Well, at least he could contact Bernard. He did what he had to to make sure Bernard's number was in his phone, before the cat started to ... saunter away. Bernard was certainly taking his grand old time. Honestly, the idea of getting a good night's rest sounded like a good one. If this was truly all some strange nightmare, by morning, he would be able to laugh it off and forget about it, as nightmares went. Likely, he would not even remember the contents within a few minutes or so. If it was real life, giving himself a nighttime to commit it to memory would be about as effective as studying the night before an exam. He sighed. Hydor walked away a bit, waiting until he was clearly out of sight before letting himself swap back to Zachariah. He was going to bed early tonight. SSBrosB And thank you for awakening my grump!
