Matt Gennison, who was the CWF Champion, would walk up to Sting. He would have his championship over his shoulder. He would take it off his shoulder, and place it over Sting's shoulder. Looking into the eyes of the Stinger, he would nod and walk off.

Sting would be met by more fellow CWF superstars as he was continuing to walk down the backstage hallway, and when Matt gave Sting his title, Sting gave it back and said "No one deserves it more than you, you've worked for years to get here." Congratulating him. He moves on and is run into by Edge.
