I gotta have to look up this duck business in Vietnam!
It's somehow unbelievable that they'd use it as ammunition when it would serve so much better as food.
DUH!! they used them as sentries actually... a duck cuack could be heard miles away and will wake up the sentries... (miles in a FIGURATIVE speech)... or maybe geese... as you pointed it out... can't remember which one it was...
problem was the vietnamese... being more clever than the "americanos" sneaked into the US army compounds simply by releasing snakes into the perimeters... that made the friggin' birds shut their beaks and many times the US troops were caught unawares!!
hahaha... and they thought they were being smart...
