Dair gave a nod of his head, "I want to be a great tamer like the one that serves with my father... but that's a big goal to try to fulfill. She's got a lot of time and training on me after all." He couldn't imagine that it was going to be easy to catch up with Vanna but that didn't mean that he wasn't going to try. She was the only one that he knew well after all... though maybe he'd benefit from trying to find some tamers his own age? It would help as far as being less intimidated by their skill. Did that thinking apply to someone writing their own book though? He paused for a moment as he spotted the hissing perzi, giving a bit of a smile, before he said, "They do look a bit on the bitey side... but they are colored really pretty." Something that made him smile before he continued to follow along after her. It looked from the lay out of the area that they were almost there, something he was now excited for on a few levels.

Shierra pursed her lips slightly. Strange to think that there were other people like her brother out there. Well, it took all kinds. "If it's really what ya want, I bet you'll get there," she encouraged lightly. "Ain't every guy who runs around on the roof tops helpin' people an' being excited about animal babies." He sure was an interesting fellow.
It was only a couple more hops before the scent of the stable announced its close proximity. Shierra wrinkled her nose slightly, but she had smelled worse. This stable was quite active and well maintained. She dropped in front of the stable entrance and peered inside. "Come on. I think we gotta go all the way back. My brother's my opposite, so he's easy to spot. I got mama's skin and papa's hair, while Koril got papa's skin and mama's hair."

"That's because not all guys are as awesome as I am!" He declared, ever the arrogant one when it came to his 'coolness factor'. As far as he was concerned he was the coolest with his brother in a close second... at least among those his own age that was. The coolest ever had to be his father, but that was just a given. How could anyone rival him after all? He followed the girl a bit further, happily making his way down to the ground before the stables. Now that he was here he was quite excited! He got to go and see some baby janarim as well as make another attempt at petting Grane without losing a hand. It was always a risk but he wanted to get that one to trust him, it was the first step toward becoming a tamer if you asked him. As she started to describe her brother, saying he was her opposite, he gave a little whistle, "Sounds interesting." Should make him easy to spot since the Matori on the whole tended to have pretty brightly colored skin, with his mother being the exception due to her being so special.

Shierra snorted with amusement. "Yeah, you're pretty awesome, I guess," she replied with a smirk. Well, she had enjoyed their time together so far, so might as well~
Interesting? After a pause, Shierra smiled brightly. "Yeah. He's pretty interesting." He was a little on the odd side, in her opinion, but she did love her brother and enjoyed spending time with him. ...Just not when he was more focused on the animals than her.
Pushing open a swinging door, she saw her brother on his knees at the end of the corridor, halfway in a gate entry. The area was separated for those animal close to giving birth. Couldn't have the other animals getting the babies sick... or trying to eat them. "That's him there. You should be able ta just go on up, maybe stick back just a bit so the mama doesn't get worked up by a new face." Well, what could be seen of the guy's face under that mop of hair... "I'm goin' back outside. Gonna wait for the gross part ta be over first. So, see ya around, maybe."

Dair gave a huge grin as the girl agreed that he was in fact pretty awesome, something that he was going to have to brag to Faisal about for sure! Clapping his hands together he said, "Glad to hear that you agree! I'm always happy to have new fans." A comment that was so arrogant that it even had Dair laughing since he knew it was over the top even for him. Still, it was always fun to talk himself up in such a manner. Turning his attention to Shierra he asked, "Oh? Not gonna come in and figure out if its safe or not? Should I call you in if it is?" He asked as he looked down the hall to where the mother would be located and along with her, Shierra's brother. He looked back and forth for a moment between her and the stall before he started down the hall. Might as well get a peek and if the babies were still being born... well, he had to learn about that stuff eventually if he was going to become a beast tamer. Well, time to see if the brother was still in, and if the janarim pups had been born yet.

Shierra couldn't help another amused snort. A proper mix of confidence and arrogance that one! Still, she couldn't be mad. He seemed pretty cool. "Nah. Koril'll come get me. ..Unless he can't make himself budge, then.. yeah. Come get me when it's over." She was only mildly curious to see the babies, but if Koril didn't bother looking for her, she would have to go back in for him. With a wave, she turned to head back outside. Maybe she would climb up onto the roof to hang out until someone got her..?
