Giving a nod of her head she said, "It might be for the best that she didn't find out." Their mother was far too nice and wonderful, if she found out about their dad being a thief... or her son being one for that matter, she'd be so heartbroken! Best that they just let her think both of them were your every day, average people! Just a merchant and a blacksmith doing merchant and blacksmith things. Let Shura being the odd one out as she went around picking fights with everyone that was meant to Dovian. Lifting a hand up to pet Dovian on the head again Shura said, "You couldn't have known how things were going to play out Dovian. At the same time you really shouldn't take things that aren't yours." She thought on it, then shrugged, "Not that I can talk. I mean I am not exactly daughter of the year or anything with the way I'm always getting into fights." Not that it meant she'd stop any time soon, not when she was so determined to protect those that she cared about... though mostly Dovian, even more so now that he'd been stabbed of all things.

Sure, he might not have known but he could have not done it to begin with. Dovian mentally scolded himself for it over and over again. As his sister said that she wasn't daughter of the year he snorted and grabbed her arm so that he could pull her along. "Mom and Dad love you, fights and all." He did too. Of course he just hoped that their parents still loved one another after all of this. Dovian look over at Anhalo. "Can your fat cat track yet?" Maybe if the creature put it's nose to the ground they could find their mother faster.

"Of course! What's not to love about me?" She said, giving a bit of a laugh as she got pulled along by her brother. Might as well try to act normal for her brother's sake. He seemed to be a bit riled up and that worried her. It made her want to give him all the hugs and attention, wanting to make sure he was back to his normal, happy, hard working self instead of worrying over everything that had happened. He'd made one little mistake after all and that shouldn't ruin everything. At the mention of Anhalo she gave a squeak and gave her brother a look, "First off he's not fat! And he can track to a degree, he found you after all." Though that might have been because he'd seen her brother before she had, "He can't really track without something to sniff at though, I can't just tell him to find our parents. He's not a magical creature... though imagine if he could do something like that." Giving the beast a glance she said, "Anhalo, learn how to find people on command! Find our parents!" The zanteer looked up at her and gave a chirp, tail swishing, but didn't go running off to show that he could do what she was demanding of him.

He offered up a snort when his sister said that her beast wasn't fat. "Mom feeds him enough." Dovian did his best to jab at the Zanteer as he yawned. Of course he had nothing against the beast, he just liked watching his sister get all ruffled and defensive. When it was clear that the water kitty was going no where he nodded and sighed. Well, he tried. After a slightly wobble to show that his body was demanding rest he shook his head and widened his eyes. All attempts to remain on his feet. "I'm feeling exhausted Shura, lets try to find mom and dad quick." Wouldn't it be just his luck to somehow injure himself more by not having rested earlier.

Shura opened her mouth, struggled with a defense, then sighed, "That's... true, I guess. Mom does spoil him something fierce." That didn't mean that he was fat though, he was just smart enough to know who would give him all the snacks he wanted and then some. Shaking her head she started forward a couple steps until she realized that Dovian wasn't keeping up as well anymore. Turning to look at him she watched him a moment before she sighed, "Poor Dovi." Stepping closer to him she then turned around, back to him, and took a knee, "Come on, get on my back. I will carry you back to our parents, Dovi." She was more then certain that she was strong enough to do so and given she was in perfect condition there was no reason not to help him out. It would be a way to do some extra strength training as well!

"Yeah, he's a fat cat." Dovian stated again. When his sister knelt down in front of him with her back facing him he chuckled. "Really Shura? I'm not that little anymore." Still, there was no way he was going to pass it up. In the middle of the crowd he leaned over and draped his arms over his sister's shoulders. His legs would wrap around her once she was standing. "You know I might fall asleep right?" It was only fair to warn her since he could feel his body relaxing already. Without it needing to be upright and functioning he was sure that the exhaustion would whisk him away and into dreamland.

Shura gave a lazy sort of shrug and said, "Once you're big enough that I'm sure I can't carry you then I won't offer. As it stands I'm pretty sure I can still carry you around on my back without an issue." She told him, pushing up to her feet once he was ready. She shifted in place to make sure that his weight was even before starting forward, returning to the search. "You might fall asleep? Well, I guess that's alright but no falling backwards, got it? I don't want you whacking into the ground when you've already had a difficult day." She warned him before continuing along with Anhalo walking at her side. She would continue the search, checking the booths that she really thought their mother would be located at, before finally doubling back toward where their father's booth was set up. There seemed to be a few people milling about, still waiting on their father to get back from 'lunch' as the sign said. Giving a humming sound she looked from side to side, then returned to the booth, "I think we will wait here for a bit." She told Dovian, though she didn't noticed if he'd dozed off yet or not. It felt like the best place to wait since their father said he'd be returning there later.

As his sister stood up he waited to be shifted before he rested his head against her shoulder. Dovian did what he could to help look but after a while the movement of her walking and the steady noise of the people around them lulled him to sleep. In fact when Shura spoke to him he was already out. He moved once or twice with a twitch before turning his head to be buried against her neck. Once he settled again Dovian seemed to relax and even started to drool on his twin's shoulder. ((End tag? emotion_awesome ))
