Pendour let her eyes flit appreciatively over the grandiosity of all of it. The thoughts of trade, islands, and travel took all this from simply a city among the stars, bright as bright and just as lovely, to something else, a connecting point. It was a stitch in a whole tapestry.

The rest of the tapestry was too big to see, but she would do what she could to learn more about it. There was still a lot that Hyperborea was saying casually that she didn't understand. "A cauldron?"

That was a pot, wasn't it? A magical pot, maybe, or just one made of iron, she couldn't remember. Either way, look as she might at the lovely statue, she didn't see any cauldrons floating overhead, so maybe it was a metaphor instead, a galaxy or some other place like this one. "I haven't heard of that."

The Code, on the other hand, seemed more accessible, even if it also seemed more like something out of Star Wars. And if it was at the center of a labyrinth, that made it a bit of an adventure. "Yes, I'd love to see," she said, and with a soft smile, she followed after the other knight.

"Ah well the way I have had it explained to me, the Cauldon is the birth place of all stars and starseeds and it is where all starseeds return to be reborn when their host dies. It is place bubbling over with energy and light. It supposedly resides in the center of the galaxy. My princess, Sailor Cosmos, stands guard there." She explained everything she knew about the scared location.

She lead her into the labyrinth, smooth white slabs covered the walls and they were interlaced with glowing crystals that illuminated the area. "Because of the defenses in the labyrinth ancient Hyperboreans would keep their treasure in chambers here." Hyperborea explained like a tour guide as she passed several such room piled high with glittering treasures.

Finally she reached a central chamber. In the four corners stood statues of Hyperborean knights. Along the floors and walls were veins of glowing energy. In the center of the room there was a giant floating rainbow colored crystal inside of it there was a pulsing orb of light about the size of a base ball. It sent a glistening myriad of iridescent light splattering across the room. The orb carried with a presence, just being near it one could tell it was a part of something truly powerful.

"This is my code piece." Hyperborea said gesturing to the crystal.

A cauldron in space bubbling over with stars? Pendour tilted her head at the mental image of a iron pot, or even a copper one, an object used for something as everyday as soup, floating around the galaxy and spitting out bits of life. Well, iron and copper did come from the cores of dying stars, and things like that always tended to end up cyclical. "It sounds interesting," she said. "Can you go there?"

That thought was interrupted by more beautiful places. This one had walls white as marble, although Pendour didn't know her rocks quite well enough to tell if it was familiar Earth stone or something more otherwordly. She lingered at the entrance to the first treasure room for a few moments. She wasn't usually one for extreme displays of wealth, but that looked like just the place where something interesting could be hiding, maybe even something as magical as her ocarina.

But the Code she'd been hearing about, the power source, was deeper in, and she kept close on Hyperborea's heels once she saw its glow. Then, she stood looking up at it for a few long seconds. It was as shimmering rainbow as the rest of this place, but she wouldn't have been able to tell that it was so important if it hadn't been in the middle of a labyrinth. "This is beautiful, too. Um, does it do anything?" Well, it was a source of power, she knew that, but at the moment it looked a bit like a rock. "Actively, I mean."

Hyperborea shrugged. "I know its possible, or at least it was possible. My ancestor once visited however that was a thousand years ago. Oh and my princess comes and goes from there I believe but I don't know if she just has special access." Hyperborea explained. It would be interesting to see one day.

Hyperborea. "Well I used it to burn away a miasma that was polluting my wonder. That was how I transcended." She explained.

"Oh and it once spoke to me." She recalled, although she choose to not share what it had said. The Code had been sick then, and a new knight didn't need to hear about the Code at its worst.

"Other than that. I don't know its just kind of comforting I can feel its power flowing into me when I'm here, its warm like meditating near a heater." She tried to put it into words.

Pendour looked at the crystal and tried to reach out and feel, not just with her skin but with her soul, the way that she did when she was pulling on the power of being a knight. Nothing happened. Nothing changed, but maybe that was to be expected. She'd have to find her own code piece to warm her spirit next to.

Even now, she smiled softly. "I can see why you're so proud of it. I'm glad that it's been able to help you with your wonder." Even to her, it was beautiful, and looking at Hyperborea, she could almost feel the happiness of being here coming off of her, warm as warm.

This seemed like the deepest and the most sacred point, which made it, in a way, the end. Pendour stood watching for a few long moments, but eventually said, "Should we go back?"
