Still, she was up for more information about space and the history or all this, which was the puzzle she was more happily trying to put together. Scholomance didn't seem like too much of an expert on it either, but she perked up when he started giving her those half remembered rumors and grabbed onto the new tidbits, committing what she could to memory.
"I was not expecting you to say that all this is because someone was having relationship problems," she said with a twitch in her lips. She pulled up her legs in the more proper way, knees to the side, but it was still cozier and looked like she was ready for some sleepover gossip. "History repeats itself, but it has its ways to keep you on your toes. That's really interesting. Well, interesting is..." she trailed off, lips pressing into a thin line.
"So much has been destroyed. Lives, stories, planets. That's more than I can even imagine existing. Even I'll admit it- that's just beyond terrible. Beyond words." Her voice cracked.
She took a deep breath. "But then there's the fact that there's so much out there, even now, and more if we look into the history of things. That's truly interesting, and it's beautiful, too. Then, if I could find out something useful or help, somehow, restore things, maybe. She closed her eyes. "I'd love to heal the universe." That had always been her dream, since she was little, but now there was so much more. "At least, as a knight I have a corner of it, and Destiny City counts, too."
She arched her back in a stretch and smiled. "So, there's some idealism to balance things. Are you ready for food?"
