Amaris Mallette - Fire Performance -- Roll #1 Amaris blinked, a few times, rubbing one hand across her eyes - it smeared her makeup a little but she didn't mind, couldn't help but feel dizzy even though she hadn't moved. She had been prepping the wicks, hadn't she? That wasn't...something didn't sound right about it. Quote: Someone is speaking. You can hear them, even above the noise and babble of the room. It sounds like it's coming from behind the curtain to the main part of the tent, a deep, melodious voice, confident and strong - but when you go to pull back the curtain, you can't remember what you were doing. There was someone in the main part of the tent, with a voice she didn't recognize, she could hear them, going to pull back the curtain to check was - what was she doing? Man. Maybe Amaris needed to get more sleep, if she was going to space out like this.

Hedone was in the back room getting ready to head to her station at the ticket booth she didn't mind the late hour she did everything in the night, the night was her time. She heard a roar like an elephant but that couldn't be unless one had gotten away from its trainer. Running off in the distance and made the echoing sound, she didn't understand. She got up and went to see what was going on. She made her way to the tent flap to stand with some of the others waiting for it to be time to head to their positions to get started for the night.
She wasn't sure if she stood there for a moment or for years before she saw the man in the hat, she thought she had seen him before but she wasn't sure she couldn't seem to grasp the memory she had other things to do. So she headed off to her ticket booth to make sure she had her ticket roll and was ready for the night's work of selling tickets. She was part of the circus her part was small but she still mattered just like everyone else did here.
