- Regardless of their bio-sex, this little one is male.
- Though they might seem to be tiny, or weak, they are anything but. There is a core of steel to this smol one. Steel that comes to the fore when they are standing up for others or when they are doing something they believe in, no matter what anyone says or does to try and convince them otherwise. This trait often gets them into trouble, but it is nothing they can't handle.
- They put on a brave fearless facade for others, but really, they are a quiet, timid soul that just wants someone to care enough to look past their bluster to the gentle soul buried deep within.
- But they are ok that it is probably never going to happen. They will fake it till it becomes real, and they don't need to depend on anyone. They are strong. They are a survivor.

tell me something about this little one:
Personality:
- Mischievous and childlike even as an adult, they will go out of their way to creep people out, and play little lighthearted pranks on friends and family. April Fools Day will be a favorite holiday. The ultimate goal is always to make people smile or laugh.
- They will love to explore fascinating new places, like caves, or to search for a rare plant or animal, and would probably get lost in the process. I see them teaming up with a fearless familiar or soquili and being the one to get scared.
- There are certain things that will scare this foal beyond reason and they will be prone to running away (bolting), which could lead to danger or injury. (I have not decided what, yet, but it would be something encountered commonly that became a phobia.)
- As a result of the adventurous streak mixed with fearfulness, I picture this character being a bit like Shaggy and Scooby-doo, terrified but pressing forward anyway (and laughing about it later on with friends and family).
Thoughts about them:
- Named after a legendary "haunted" doll, namely a Raggedy Ann doll named Annabelle, or "Robert the Enchanted Doll."
- I am curious about how the cracks in the skin, nails, etc. work. Are they wounds or props? Do they hurt? Maybe he will wonder too and try to find out.
Plots:
- Foal (maybe longer) : prone to monologue in their head. Plots, worries, fears, what they should say, everything. To everyone else they have stopped everything and stared off into space without any expression. Then suddenly they may become animated again with an exclamation and startle everyone around them! Or perhaps they've moved on and left them behind (by accident).
- Foal (probably longer) : Similarly, a thought or question may strike them suddenly and may simply wander off without a word.
- Foal: learns to love creepy-crawlies from Dolly. Maybe later in life they look for recipes for bugs that she might enjoy. (Might not be very good at it)
- Foal/Adolescent: Learns music and dancing with Patches! I would really love this, a great way to bond with papa.
- Adolescent: finding someone to creep out or prank backfires and really terrifies them, causing them to rethink their approach.
- Adult: Becomes some sort of scientist (insect/arthropod?), librarian, or authority on local folklore (or all of these).
- Lifelong: I would love for them to remain very close with the family. And I would like for it to be assumed that they can rely on on this one to help... as best s/he can. They would go out of their way or drop everything to help.
- Lifelong: Would love to stay in touch with relatives (especially parents and siblings) and be present in the lives of their children. Maybe becomes for them a mentor, tutor, etc.

Backstitch takes after their father, a little more timid and scared of the world around them, but incredibly kind and pleasant to those involved in their life. Backstitch, enjoys listening to tales and musice, though they aren't quite capable a storyteller or singer as Patches, even with extensive practice and lessons from him. Even so, they enjoy the tales and songs they have learned, and joyfully carries them on their voice, even if they tend to be a bit flat or a little too sharp.
They adore the oddities of their mother, inquisitive and curious about the things that "Dolly" finds interesting. Baby Bones doesn't shy away from their mother's touches, happily leaning in to them to accept her affection. Backstitch has tried to eat bugs many a time, hoping to develop a taste for them to share the experience with Dorothea, but has yet to find any bugs particularly tasty. Even so, Baby Bones loves learning about plants, animals, and bugs from Dolly, though they love learning how to care for another from her even more. Backstitch has noticed how Dolly does what she can for Patches, the small gestures and sweet words that she offers him in order to comfort and protect him. Backstitch has taken those small gestures to heart and does everything they can to treat those they care for in similar fashion.
Baby Bones does have a rather intricate hobby, and it's mending. They love to stitch things together and this is perhaps where Dolly's unique behavior has rubbed off on them the most. They enjoy grafting flowers, bugs, what have you, together to created odd, yet beautiful pieces of art. They've stitched together monarchs and painted ladies, roses and pansies; every creation is a labor of love and careful, practiced stitches.

There's nothing wrong with being a little off, and this one enjoys it thoroughly. Eating bugs isn't weird since Momma does it, you just have to find the ones that taste the best. Everything is a new experience, and they're willing to look silly for the sake of that experience, even bad ones. They love exploring, and making the unknown known, shedding light on things that others might consider scary.

This little one knows more scary stories than anyone she knows, and relishes in the reactions she gets when she tells them; she lives for the electricity of fear in the air, especially as her storytelling becomes more and more intricate. She is a master when it comes to spinning tales, both for entertainment and for everyday instances. She could be called a pathological liar, but sometimes she's not sure she's lying at all - her stories become so interwoven with her own life that sometimes she tricks herself into thinking they're real too. Over the course of her life, her stories and her reality are completely interwoven, to the point that she can no longer determine fact from fiction.
She has relationships with other Soquili, but there's always a mild disconnect. She loves her family, but it's like there's a screen between them; they can see each other and communicate, but there's always a little cold air in the middle. She often gets caught in her stories and her mind, and when she comes back to the real world, she has a hard time readjusting to reality.

as some say curiousy kills the cat or in this case the foal. Ashlee is very much like her mother. She is very curious and loves the taking risks if she can understand things better. She loves to watch the bugs as they crawl from one place to another. unlike her mother she does not eat or harm them, She loves watching the butterflies the best because they remind her of tiny horse like bugs with the way they fly and the way they move when they are on the ground,

For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to use the pronoun "he" though the personality doesn't change based on gender. The "look" of him is based on my opinions of what the basket could dictate.
His name was a kind of misnomer. There were cracks in his skin, fissures like a broken china doll. There were also places that were neatly stitched up as though some of the fractures had been intended and some had not. Despite this, Fractured felt whole. The stories his father told him had not scared him, but given him a kind of release from fear, an aspiration to courage.
He always studies things before speaking. Often his black eyes have been referred to as "soul-less" by outsiders, but he is not. The light of his mother seems to fill broken looking piece of skin. Like his mother, he has four fascinations: The feel of touch of another being (texture does not matter to him), the taste of spiders on his tongue as they wriggled down his throat, the beauty of a moths (he keeps cluster of them around him), and the sound of music-whether it be a funeral dirge or an orchestra. Sometimes it even inspires him to do a kind of shuffling dance. He often hums.
Some may find his talking slow or hesistant and mistake it that he is slow but they would be wrong. A bright contemplative mind whirs beneath the surface, measuring the nuance of a word or even the brief emotion that sometimes sparks in eyes. He speaks slowly and carefully out of consideration, never one to rise to anger. There has been nothing yet to ever really make him angry.

tell me something about this little one: In many ways Puppet is a well rounded mix of both (his/her) parents. A bit dreamy over things that interest him/her and will often geek out -become super excited and talk faster and at a higher pitch about interesting plants and animals. She/ he will often go out into the soq lands with Dolly to learn all she/he can from Dolly wisdom and experience. Puppet will often draw and take notes on the local fauna and flora. She/he is making quite a big database on all the local varieties.
However She/he feels pity for all the innocent bugs Dolly eats. Puppet knows that his/her mother is whimsical and doesn't say anything when Dolly eats the bugs , but usually he/she turns his/her head away from the sight and hopes the bugs get reborn as a bigger creature in their next life. (Poor little Puppet -get's hearbroken so easily) However their are exceptions-Puppet is scaredy cat about one bug in particular worms. His/her father's tendency come out when looking at worms. Maybe because they don't have eyes or have no legs, but when Puppet see's one she/he heads for the hills. Puppet also find snakes creepy, but finds them less terrifying then worms. (Really Puppet, can't you realize your much bigger then a worm?)
Puppet is just has a one of those sunny personalities that make other soq want to be around him/her. While Puppet might look a bit scary on the outside he/she tends to be one of the sweetest little soqs around the soq lands. His/her cup is always full, though poppet can be dreadfully naive and he/she tends to think the best of every soq. The reason for this is Dolly, Patches, and most of the extended family look rather scary to most soq, but most of them are actually kind benevolent souls. Puppet doesn't judge soq on their appearance and since the family looks tend to be spooky side, Puppet naturally assumes that spooky soq are the highest form of soq beauty. Spiders, swamps, blood, gore those are just different forms of beauty to Puppet.
- Also note she/he would stay nearby the family as an adult with a few short trips out every year by his/her self to research none local plants and animals. After all Puppet has been inspired by his/her mother to admire/love nature and is a little/mini naturalist. -However not a bug tasting Connoisseur (pity the bug ^-^)
P.S.-Puppet says -don't pity worms. "Mom is free to eat any worm."
