"It's not going to change anytime soon I imagine, so I make the best of it." He replied, but didn't say anything more about hope or the light of which she spoke. Hope...that wasn't something he necessarily believed in. As far as he was concerned, based on what he had been told about those forcibly corrupted (if she wasn't dead) they lost most of their memories. She was already lost. In his eyes, Nadia was just hoping to salvage the pieces.

Hurst replied, now, finally, flipping the menu open to select what he wanted for the evening. The corners of his lips quirked up.
