This wasn’t good. A bitter laugh escaped as he tried to regain his composure even as the room seemed to start to spin. Had he already lost that much blood? He felt as though Seraphinite’s fight had been much worse and on much more even footing.
He was not doing well at all.
Jet stumbled backwards when his shoulder was punched, and reached out to try and summon his weapon back to his hand. He needed to focus, but his breathing was heavy and he suddenly felt a lot more winded than he probably should.

Arseno wished that Aurostibite would just call the match already, whether it was in his favor or not. The general still hadn't been able to go and really want to hurt his fellow agents, even though he knew some of them killed for fun, and the he himself was a killer. Though that didn't mean he liked to torture his experiments, but so far, he hadn't been able to come up with any anesthetics to make the starseed pulling process less painful.
He sent another punch Jet's way. Arseno would not summon his weapon again, not unless the other general suddenly had a huge comeback and managed to turn this fight around.[HP: 18]

Faustite's frown tilted further and further downwards as the fight progressed. What was once a strong start for Jet soon petered out as the general looked to lose focus. Arsenopyrite pressed his advantage clumsily, seeking blows with no obvious intent to them, and without a string of combos to follow through with his upper hand. But Faustite's judgment came from the safety of the stands, where he could look on without the adrenaline spike of his life on the line.
Still, he expected Jet to be better than this.
For the second time in the hour, his toes curled in his boots. Faustite felt his too-long nails dig into the soles roughly enough that his foot began to throb. These battles never lasted long, however; Jet would succumb to this bumbling idgit or he'd turn the fight around at the last minute.
There were no two ways about it.

For the first time in what felt like a long time, Jet felt like a child. He wasn’t that old to begin with, but now more than ever he couldn’t figure out how to make this fight turn into his favor.
He tried not to think about how the other General was going easier on him now, and tried once more to summon his weapon to his hand. It worked this time, but he knew all of the teleporting from the match before was really wearing on him.
But he wasn’t done yet. Not until the match was called. Jet pushes forward with the last of his strength, swinging his weapon to try and hit the other man.
s**t… he was really tired.

Jet managed to make a comeback with a weapon, but not enough to actually make Arseno feel threatened. He was cut once more, this time around his left shoulder, and he felt the numbness coming on.
However, it wasn't enough to make Arseno bring back his weapon. He threw out one final punch, aiming for something that wouldn't hurt the general too badly. When is Aurostibite going to call the match already?! The other general would need hospitalization, of that Arseno was sure. He couldn't keep beating on the man, and if Aurostibite didn't call it soon, Arseno would throw the match.[HP: 12]

Yes, he felt a little dizzy and some of his wounds were worse than others, but Jet would stubbornly resist the idea of going to a hospital for something like this. He’d survived worse. All he needed was some electrolytes and butterfly bandages and it would allow fine.
The last punch felt kind of weak, and it was a shame because Jet really would have liked to fight at his best. It was his own fault for using up all his energy in the first match.
Finally the match was called and Jet dismisses his weapon so he could shake out his arm, splattering blood onto the ring as it dripped from his fingertips.
“Good match,” he said, but didn’t offer his hand to shake because it was covered in blood and that was gross. He was out of breath, but that was fine too. Jet placed a hand over the cuts across his chest, wincing a little at the stinging sensation, but he was glad the weapon had been sharp. It would be easier to patch everything up this way.
“Next time, let’s both be at full strength.”
And now he had every intention of walking himself out of the ring and sitting down in a medical tent for a few minutes before going on his way to see the other matches taking place.

 Aurostibite stepped forward.
"Round two, over. Well done, the both of you."
Jet was given a small nod, Aurostibite reaching to briefly grasp the other's shoulder. They'd come a long way from their initial stance of dislike, but Jet had done quite well, in spite of his loss.
