She can feel herself getting out of breath. The mud sticks to her legs, making it hard to move, let alone dodge hits. She just takes it head-on and flails her whip straight across, hoping to hit...anywhere, really.
"Zombies aren't so awesome when they actually exist, huh? Congrats on surviving."
She squelches backwards, trying to recreate some distance.
"Asian mafia. Really big on not snitching. And executions. Haha!"

"Sounds like a pretty good reason to get out of where you were," he admitted.

It's not like this place is ever gonna get a good review on glassdoor or anything--" The whip catches on a leg, sending her sprawling back onto the ground. So much for moving. Jesse silently watched the fight, the two trainees seemed matched well, and he wanted to cheer for Tzei. What he didn't want to do was blow anyone's concentration and be responsible for a loss. Instead he crossed his arms over his chest, tipped his Stetson out if his eyes and watched intently.

"Would've been nice to just have a normal life." Micah bent over, resting his hands on his knees and breathing hard, taking the brief respite for what it was. "But I guess that all went out the window a while ago." He straightened up again after a moment, but didn't move to attack yet. Tzei was still down, and he didn't feel right going after someone who'd fallen over. They were both getting tired. "At least I get to use my skills a good amount," he said. HP: 9 Dmg: nope

Jesse gave a low whistle of appreciation on seeing the end of the battle. He clapped for Tzei, though he felt bad for the guy who lost. "Good going both of you. Any one need bandaging? I only have a basic kit here but I can still do some basic work till you get to the labs if needed."
