"Awesome. No worries, I'll hobble ya' back and we can chill out." Sonja was almost always down for hanging out and relaxing with others. Especially if food and drink were involved.
"Batons?" She blinked a bit before taking a quick look at her weapons while blocking the oncoming attack with her arms once again. "Nah, these here are tonfas. Bladed ones. Not exactly easy weapons to have gotten used to but they do my just fine."
She knew better than to let any good words go to her weapon's ego.
"Great for defense and offense!" On the last word, she struck out with both her blades, aiming for the other's legs once again.

"Dang. You gonna take my kneecaps out. What you doing?" He said, stepping back from the blades. It still bothered him a lot to see a blade go against his skin and yet not see any blood. The shield made him feel unnatural, inhuman, and bizarre.
After she got close, he moved back in and striked back to her side with the trident.
HP: 19

Dottie had settled in by now, but had grinned when it became apparent that Sonja had overheard her, though that grin was hidden behind a bandanna. She gave the other woman a wink when she'd looked back at them and waved, and then hunkered down in a crouch to watch, her arms hanging loosely over her knees. "You know, I'm kind of glad I decided not to hate her." Dottie commented, towards Nash, since he was the one nearby. "Seriously thought she wanted to ******** my brother though....ah, maybe she still does." She shrugged. Who was she to get in the way of romance, even if it was with that disgusting little turd?

"Don' worry, ain't gonna hurt ya... Much." Sonja had thought the 'shield' was weird when it had first been explained to her but she had slowly gotten somewhat used to having it.
It was still weird though. She was used to getting beaten with bruises, scraps and scars when it came to fighting and this was... Very unnatural. She cast the thoughts away after taking the blow to her side, skidding back a bit.
"And then there's you, tryin' ta' skewer me." A weapon was still a weapon, no matter what the size. It could still surly hurt her.
But if he wasn't too comfortable with her using her weapon, she could use her body all the same. She spun once before using her shoulder to knock him back.

Uh. It looks like the fight's leaning more Sonja's way. Tzei leans forward, watching intently, and almost forgets to cheer. "You can do it! Go Kai! Even if your weapon is...uh...kind of...short-range! Seriously, why is it so teeny-tiny?!"

"Hey not much I can do with a fork. Ya gotta work with me here." He said, stepping back as she shoved him with a football shove. It was enough for him to feel the strain and he felt himself getting more and more tired.
You have no flow. Gotta move with it. You're being tail lashed.
He tried again but she was a hard target to get with all her moving about. HP: 13 Dmg: 1

She felt the impact from the Kai's 'fork' but it didn't stop her. At least, not for very long.
"Hey, a weapon is still a weapon. Don't sell yerself short there on that one."
She paused for a moment before she angled the butt end of one of her tonfas towards her opponent's side.
Kai wasn't alone in feeling the strain of the fight. Her jab wasn't anything special but she had at least made contact.

He rubbed his side once he felt the hit and found it hard to hit her with her moving around under him.
"Yeah but there are better ones. You really good at moving around." He said as he tried to turn about to follow her to try to hit again. HP: 12 Dmg: 0

She supposed he was right. Everyone had a different weapon of their own but wielding them was a whole 'nother challenge on it's own. It had taken Sonja well long enough for her to properly figure hers out.
A quick twist and she was facing him once again before trying for another jab with her opposing tonfa.
"Could say I'm a little used to fightin'. Did plenty of it back home."
Another slip up on her part. She hadn't even managed a graze. She exhaled a bit through her nose as she braced herself once again.

As she turned and then braced herself, she was right in the middle of his range and he turned his first out about the trident and threw his weight into it hitting her against her shoulder. HP: 12 Dmg: 10

"I always preferred my fists during those fights. Had a couple of others that decided to cheat but I still beat them doow-" The jab to her shoulder sent her off balance. Enough to have her stumbling backwards and all but topple over with the hit.
"Damn! Put some force behind that one, didn'chya!"
Small pants were beginning to set into her as she raised her tonfa's again and made to punch for the other's shoulder. Knocking Kai off-balance was still her best bet right now. And she was starting to feel the fatigue of the fighting.

He was tired and exhausted, but the next hit smacked against his shoulder and sent him moving back, rubbing it and feeling the fight start to leave him.
"I try, though I gotta say I don't know how much longer I can go. You hit like a truck."
He moved over and hit one last time, but it wasn't even on target and more or less veered to the left of her. HP: 4 Dmg: 2

A couple of chuckles escaped past the pants that were leaving her body. The smirk she wore was tired and worn but there was no way she was going to give up.
"Thanks! Took alotta practice to hit like that."
It was easy to see that they were both getting tired.
With the strength she had left, she made to tackle the other, tonfa's ignored for this attack.

A tackle like that shouldn't have taken him down, but with a Ompfh he felt his weight shift back and before he could brace himself, he fell down on his back. A hand was on the back of Sonja's back to make sure he didn't' fall on her and he groaned as he felt the impact resonate through his back.
"Okay.....I'm out." He grunted. HP: 0
